00:04We live in downtown Newark with our two dogs, Chip and Charlie,
00:09and we pay $3,600 in rent.
00:11I think that's a sweet deal.

00:15We live in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.
00:19We have a steam room, sauna, gym, and a game room.
00:23The best thing about living in Jersey is that you get more space
00:26and they're able to fit a washer and dryer in a unit.
00:32And, added bonus, we also store things to the side of it.
00:37A little knicks and knacks.
00:39And this is our guest room that also serves as an office.
00:43What I don't like about the guest room is the headboard.
00:48That was something that my husband picked out.
00:50Not a fan of it, but it can do for now.
00:53We have a television in every single room,
00:56but no one ever comes in here.
00:58I have the TV all to myself in this room,
01:00and I don't have to hear my husband in the living room.
01:03Another really cool thing is that our guests have their own bathroom.
01:07We stocked it up with some great products.
01:10We're obsessed with ASO.
01:12We have not had any guests stayed in here yet.
01:14We've only been living here for about like eight months.
01:18So, I'm sure soon enough.
01:23This is our kitchen.
01:26My favorite thing about this space is pretty much that it's open.
01:29It's all glass.
01:30I really love just watching the seasons.
01:33Having an all glass apartment, you can be a voyeur.
01:35And I love to share the kitchen, making a meal with my wife.
01:39We used to live down the block in a loft.
01:41It didn't have much light, which was an issue for me.
01:45We decided to come check it out and be nosy.
01:49And that's how we, you know, ended up having an application for this place.
01:53My husband, when we moved into the space, he wanted a different table.
01:57And I was just more like, no.
01:59Like, I love this table that we have here.
02:02And we made it work, and it looks great.
02:05In this place, it just seemed like the table would overpower the space.
02:08A little bit too rustic, a little bit too large.
02:10But my wife was right.
02:12It worked out.
02:13And I wouldn't change it.
02:14Good world.
02:15This is the living room.
02:16Our home style is very minimalist.
02:18Our parents are from the Caribbean, so they're heavy on putting stuff everywhere.
02:22So, when we come home, we just want to have that serene, peaceful vibe.
02:25We travel a lot, and we stay at these luxury hotels.
02:28So, we just wanted to bring that feeling from our travels home.
02:31Everything is inside the credenza.
02:33The speakers are hidden.
02:35You'll hear the sound, but you won't see the sound.
02:37Sometimes it's a little too loud.
02:39Our splurge is this leather couch.
02:42We do have two dogs.
02:44And when you have fabric, just in the case, one of them makes, like, an accident.
02:48But it hasn't happened yet.
02:50We got this couch from West Elm.
02:52It was $3,000, was it?
02:55Around that price.
02:57But I just feel like all couches are pretty expensive.
03:00And, you know, everyone's going to splurge on a couch.
03:05He's literally, like, French kissing me over here.
03:07We've started a new company called Haunter Hue.
03:10And it is an e-design, interior design company.
03:14Based on your style, we'll be able to source the materials and products.
03:18And being able to finish your space online and get you a deliverable within two weeks.
03:23And this is our bedroom.
03:24It's definitely helpful having a master bathroom.
03:29Sometimes he'll just take the guest bathroom and I'll take over the master bathroom.
03:33Two bathrooms pretty much save marriages.
03:36While she's getting ready, I can get ready at the same time.
03:38We get to places much faster.
03:41This is my closet, my AKA girl cave.
03:44I get ready in here in the morning without, like, waking my husband up.
03:48It's, like, my little dressing room.
03:50This is my closet, of course.
03:51I'm in the hallway.
03:52I'm not in the master bedroom.
03:54She has a larger of the two, just where I get fresh.
03:57Typically, I'll just take my stuff and go to the guest bedroom.
03:59We met, well, my best friend and her best friend are siblings.
04:04So we met at a barbecue at their other sister's house.
04:08First impressions, I thought she was really cute.
04:09You know, just wanted to see where her head was at and, you know, see if we were compatible.
04:13I had recently, like, got out of a relationship.
04:16So first the impression was, like, oh, he's nice.
04:19Like, I wasn't really looking for a boyfriend or anything.
04:24And then I got this weird number, like, calling my phone.
04:26And I was, like, who is this?
04:31And I found out it was you.
04:33We dated for a year and a half.
04:37Now we're three years married.
04:39We would like people to walk away from our home
04:43feeling calm and cool, you know, when you come into space.
04:46You don't feel overwhelmed.
04:47Mainly we just want people to feel accommodated, like, welcomed, well rested,
04:52and enjoy their time with us.
