00:08We're 15 minutes apart, and we look alike, yes, but we have different sense of fashion.
00:13Yeah, we're different in multiple ways, but she's my best friend, we've been best friends
00:17since the womb.
00:19My name is TK Kwan, aka TK Wonder, and that is my stage name.
00:25I'm originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and I now live in New York.
00:30So they say, once you hit that 10-year mark, and I've been there for about 11 years, that
00:34you're a New Yorker.
00:36So I feel like a true New Yorker now.
00:38What I do for a living, I do electronic music, so I rap, I sing, I song write, and I
00:44tour
00:44in Eastern Europe and Western Europe, and I've opened up for a bunch of cool people like Justice
00:48and Sting and Nas, Erykah Badu, The Prodigy.
00:53Outside of my music, I am an executive contributor for my identical twin sister's amazing website
01:00called Urban Bush Base.
01:01I'm sure she'll tell you more about it.
01:03I'm Sipriana Kwan, and I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but as natives like to
01:08call it, we say, be more.
01:10And I've been in New York for over 10 years now.
01:13I am actually a co-founder and editor-in-chief of a website called Urban Bush Babes, and
01:19we encourage and celebrate women in feeling comfortable and being themselves.
01:23We see imperfections as beauty, and we really encourage and we just really encourage and
01:30love when people kind of accept their differences, and accepting your differences inspires other
01:36people to accept their differences and kind of like, you know, a domino effect.
01:41So we just really love when people kind of color outside the lines.
01:44I feel like my fashion sense has multiple personalities.
01:48It could be edgy, it could be casual, it could be dressy.
01:51I love crop tops and kimonos.
01:53If I could crop top out anything, I would crop top it out, is my phrase.
01:57But like I said, I love love color.
01:59Regarding style, I love everything.
02:03I kind of have like a deep connection to like the 70s era.
02:09So I love like long, flowy dresses, high-waisted pants, you know, leather pieces and also menswear
02:17as well.
02:17But also saying that I kind of love all types of styles.
02:21So it's kind of hard for me to shop because I see everything and anything and I can see
02:26kind of how to work it.
02:26But then it's also easier to shop because I do see inspiration in so many things.
02:31Now I'm here in New Orleans with my twin and our friend Izzy who lives here.
02:35And I feel like this is what the city represents.
02:38It's vibrant, it's colorful, it's vivid.
02:40That energy here is amazing.
02:41Plus they have two of my favorite things, which is music and food.
02:46How can you not love that?
02:48You should find something before.
02:50I know.
02:50Like in there later.
02:51Maybe go find somewhere to eat?
02:52Yes.
02:53I mean, that never gets old.
02:56What's that?
02:57Wait, do you think this is the second line that Izzy was talking about?
03:01This is what she was talking about.
03:03That's so cool.
03:08I know.
03:10I mean, you just join in.
03:12Yeah, do you think it's like okay to join in?
03:14I think it's okay to join in.
03:17Or maybe we should just test it out and see if anyone like picks us out the line.
03:23Or be like, yeah, we're waiting for you guys.
03:25We're part of the staff.
03:26We're just talking to the city.
04:01I just can't really express like the excitement I have here and all the amazing places to shop, especially like
04:07places to eat because we love food, food and clothes, yes hand in hand.
04:11So it's really exciting to be here and experience all that with the people that I love.
04:17So that's it.
04:20We'll see you next time.
