00:00Last year, I was here and honored, very honored, to win the Innovator Award, and I chose to share a
00:10quote that means a great deal to me by President Theodore Roosevelt, who spoke about the guts and the glory
00:19of daring to make your mark as the man in the arena.
00:26Just one year later, I am very happy to be back with all of you in this arena to help
00:33honor a great young woe man who has accomplished extraordinary things in arenas and stadiums all around our world.
00:47I am speaking, of course, about this year's winner of the iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Tour, Tyler Swyft.
01:00Tyler, Taylor, Taylor, Taylor.
01:05Close enough.
01:07Right from the start, this extraordinary singer, songwriter, and performer, born in 1989, has been elevating the place of music
01:21in our lives, breaking world records as a recording artist, and bringing all types of people together in big and
01:31powerful ways as a touring sensation.
01:34She has won over 250 awards to date.
01:42I mean, I don't know how that's mathematically possible.
01:47She already holds five records in the Guinness Book of World Records.
01:56Word on the street is, she's even in the pole vault in the upcoming Olympics in Rio, and she's the
02:02favorite to win.
02:06Taylor's 1989 World Tour, her biggest and most attended tour yet, proved to be a defining moment in this young
02:16lady's career, and brought together over 2 million fans and friends.
02:25On just one single night in Sydney, Taylor brought together 76,000 fans, an event now beautifully documented in her
02:36concert film, and on the nose titled, 1989 World Tour Live.
02:44Some people are out here to build walls.
02:47We ain't naming no names.
02:49But as an artist,
02:52that was a political joke.
02:57Shut up, you can't even vote.
03:02I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
03:05Taylor chooses to knock down walls, and invite everyone to be on her hashtag squad.
03:13Consider some of the very special guests who joined her on stage on the 1989 World Tour.
03:20She went from the weekend to the U.S. women's soccer team in New Jersey.
03:26She got Mick Jagger to strut with her in Nashville.
03:30Lord joined her in D.C.
03:33Our mutual friends Little Big Town joined her in Pittsburgh.
03:37She even got Fetty Wap on stage.
03:39He didn't have his four-wheeler.
03:41But he was there.
03:43In Seattle.
03:44How about that pretty woman, Julia Roberts?
03:50Co-starred with Taylor in Santa Clara.
03:53Finally, we got Kobe Bryant, Taylor's BFF, Selena.
04:01And even at the time, one very new nervous dad.
04:08Hashtag poopy diapers.
04:10Making the scene right here in Los Angeles.
04:14But make no mistake, the main attraction was the one and only Taylor Swift.
04:20Take a look.
