00:00Thank God to President Trump for coming in and empowering us to enforce our nation's laws.
00:05We're able to see the crime rate drop.
00:08We're able to see murder rates drop to 126-year low.
00:14We're seeing violent crimes drop to 30- and 40-year lows.
00:18We're seeing fentanyl overdoses go backwards for the first time because we're enforcing our nation's laws.
00:25And I say this all the time.
00:26I mean, the Department of Homeland Security didn't make these laws.
00:32Congress made these laws, and we enforce the laws that Congress passed.
00:40Why it's controversial for us to enforce those laws, I have no idea.
00:44Protecting our homeland should never be controversial.
00:46Doing our job and having like a Lone Star mission where we take over 4,100 criminals off our streets
00:53in 10 days,
00:55why is that controversial?
00:58We should all want to be safe in our communities.
01:01Here in Texas, they're protecting their state.
01:07They're protecting those that respect the law and order.
01:10Here in Texas, they're keeping the people safe because it's what they're sworn to do.
01:15And we should all do that.
01:18And as I stand here in front of you, I couldn't be more proud of the work they did.
01:26And thank you for the cooperation we had from our partners from state, local, and county.
