00:10Today we're testing flocking nails.

00:14This is the furry nail trend that you've probably seen all over the internet.
00:17It's basically a coat of nail polish and a coat of fur over top.
00:20I'm pretty stoked. I saw a lady, she had like, faux fur.
00:24I was like, that's a little extra, but I can do it.
00:28You start with a base coat, or two.
00:30Maybe just your average, get that base on there of your color.
00:33And when it's nice and wet and thick with your color of nail polish,
00:36you start pouring the powder on.

00:40My issue is always, do I start with my good hand or my bad hand?
00:44See, I'm a little ambidextrous, so I like, put it down with the nail polish when I do it myself.
00:48Alright, well you're lucky.
00:51So, I'm going with a kind of foresty green, which, shocking for me,
00:56I'm not a green person, but I feel like, for some reason, my nails look good in green.
01:02I mean, personally, I love green, as you can tell.
01:04But, I'm going to switch it up and do orange today,
01:06because I think it's going to contrast a little bit with my hair and makeup here.
01:10This is kind of a, I feel like a thin coat of nail polish,
01:13but I think you want it to be thick when you put this flocking powder on.

01:27We both should do a second coat and leave it wet, and then we can throw our powder on.
