00:03The President's The President's The President is a citizen.
00:04So you see, that's what our democracy demands.
00:08It needs you.
00:09If you're tired of arguing with strangers on the Internet,
00:13try talking with one of them in real life.
00:16If something needs fixing, then lace up your shoes
00:20and do some organizing.
00:22If you're disappointed by your elected officials,
00:25grab a clipboard, get some signatures,
00:28and run for office yourself.
00:30Show up, dive in, stay at it.
00:34Sometimes you'll win, sometimes you'll lose.
00:36But for those of us fortunate enough to have been part of this work
00:40and to see it up close, let me tell you, it can energize and inspire.
