00:08corsage, everything has to be like perfect. The thing about prom is it
00:12doesn't matter that much, but you still want it to be perfect. It's like the one
00:16night that everyone is looking their best. I actually didn't have a prom. I went to
00:20a really really small high school and there weren't enough seniors or juniors
00:24to fill up a room for a dance. You can leave school at 16 in England. I didn't
00:29like not finish school, but you go to prom when you're 18 and I just missed out.
00:35Prom has become a rite of passage for high schoolers everywhere. For some, prom is an
00:41extravagant affair full of excitement and fun. For others, prom brings up feelings
00:46of anxiety or fear of not being accepted. Everyone has a prom story. We teamed up
00:53with our friends at Hollywire to do prom our way.

01:03I had a lot of fun with my friends because I feel like the party did not start
01:06until we came in. I spent so much time picking out my dress and picking out the
01:11colors and everything was perfect, hairstyle everything. And the one thing that I
01:16wanted was for my date to match. And he didn't. He didn't even try.
01:22I had tried to dye my hair blonde because I wanted to look like Britney Spears, but it turned
01:26out orange, but I just rocked it.
01:28I wore a Betsy Johnson pink little frilly dress, and I wore pink and black ear maxes,
01:34and I even put little rhinestones on the Nike check.
01:37If I had the opportunity to do prom, I would want to go all out since I've never experienced it.
01:45Reformation invited us to come shop for prom dresses, so Nya and I are heading over,
01:49and we're so excited to try stuff on.
01:53I'm really just trying to find, like, what salon you would wear to prom.

04:04So, trying on prom dresses is honestly kind of a pain.
04:08Like, I remember it the first time around, and not only am I picky about style, but just size-wise,
04:14it's really annoying.
04:16So, I'm at the mall, and I'm about to look for this prom dress.
04:21The first dress, and it's definitely way too big for my boobs.
04:28So, this is the second dress. Again, it's way too big.
04:33I mean, I look good in it, but I'm not sure if this is, like, the one that's not wowing
04:37me.
04:38Honestly, at this point, I'm not even sure what I'm going to wear.
04:43All this prom talk has made me kind of want to feel glamorous and special, and one thing that kind
04:50of stops me from feeling that way is my hair.
04:52I haven't gotten it cut in who knows how long, and it's, I mean, you can tell. It's, it needs
05:01a little love.

06:14yet, and my hair is my natural color, so I think it's a win.

06:52My prom was fun, but this has been an amazing experience altogether because we got to pick this tux out

07:14I don't usually wear color like this, and now that I'm wearing this red dress, I feel like I should

07:29I'm not a huge makeup person, but this is definitely the look that I wanted. For sure.
07:41I've got all my best Hollywood girls with me. We're literally having the best time ever.
07:50People have all been having so much fun, and I will say this prom tops my original prom.
07:55Prom is just one of the many special nights that you will have with friends in your life.
08:00So don't worry if your feet hurt, your dress rips, or your date doesn't show.
