00:06Hi I'm Jem from Refinery29 and I'm Bethany Brill. Today I'm going to show you how to get in on
00:12the under eyeliner trend without it looking harsh.
00:14We're going to start this look by smudging some eyeliner on the outside corners of the eye to about 3
00:20quarters of the way in.
00:21We're using a brown to keep it from being too harsh. You can adjust this based on your own skin
00:27tone.
00:29Then we're going to smudge the liner with a stiff eye shadow brush.
00:34We're just going to work it into the lash line and smooth it all out so that it looks soft
00:40and sort of diffused.
00:42For the final step we're going to take a copper shimmery eye shadow, tap a tiny bit of the copper
00:48shadow in the center of the lower lid.
00:50This is really going to open up the look, make it soft and bright.
00:57Finish with a heavy coat of mascara focusing on the outside corners of the eye.
01:03And don't forget the bottom lashes.
01:05To amp up the style for night you can do a little bit of a clumpy mascara. It will make
01:11it look really edgy.
