00:00Hey guys, my name is Raven and I am here with some major keys for all of my
00:05graduates. It is okay. You will survive this. Stop freaking out. Don't panic. It's
00:11fine. You need these rough times so that you can persevere and be persistent and
00:16get to the good times. Yes, it will be tough. It may seem like everybody is a
00:22step ahead of you. Stop comparing yourself to your friends. They just seem
00:26to have things together more than you do. Trust me, not everyone's got it
00:29together and you just got to fake it till you make it. Everyone moves at their own
00:32pace. At graduation everyone talks about how this is your time and this is your
00:36chance and that can feel like a lot of pressure and it can especially feel like
00:41a negative kind of pressure. It's gonna be okay. Graduation is scary. You may or may
00:45not have things figured out right now, but in the end everything's gonna be all
00:49right. If you're freaking out because you're graduating and you have a job
00:53lined up that you hate or that you just don't like at all, it's gonna be okay.
00:57When I graduated college, I was working in a cafe. High school or college or grad
01:03school like it's gonna throw you out into the world and it's important to take
01:07the lessons that you've learned and apply them to your life. Take advantage of that
01:11time that you have to be there to learn because it's not gonna last forever. It's
01:15a limited time. Make sure that you make the most out of it, especially considering
01:19how prohibitively expensive it is. Stay in touch with the friends that you made
01:23while in school. Stay in touch with your teachers. Stay in touch with anyone else
01:26really that you feel can benefit you in some way in your life. You have this
01:31automatic network while you're in school that you can still continue
01:34communicating with while you're out of it. You're graduating and maybe you have a
01:38job lined up that you hate, but you have something. Some people have nothing. Kudos!
01:44As long as you're learning and whatever position you are in life right now,
01:48that's okay. You just have to learn in whatever space you are, whether that's in
01:51a classroom or at a workplace or volunteering somewhere. You may discover
01:55that you're enjoying something else and that's fine and that's cool like go with
01:59it and because that's the time that you have to figure those things out and if
02:04you don't take those chances and put yourself out there and try new things
02:07you're gonna end up regretting it afterwards. Mess up or fail like that's
02:11kind of the point is you know you'll learn from those mistakes that you made and
02:14figure out what things work and what things don't and you can take
02:18that and continue to build on it. Just because you graduated doesn't mean that
02:21you've peaked. You will continue to grow wherever you go. The best is yet to come
02:25and you just have to keep moving forward in order to reach your new high point.
02:30It's so important to stay rooted in your communities because the more rooted you
02:34are in the community, the more able you are to branch out. Don't be afraid. You'll
02:40regret it if you hold yourself back because you're afraid of doing something
02:43and trying something new. Just do it. Just take a minute to be proud of
02:46yourself because you've made it through something. Graduating is a huge
02:52accomplishment and you should be really proud of yourself.
