00:12I'm trying to keep it a secret, but it's an extension of the music video with some elements supersized.

00:26What's your advice for other women when they need a little pick-me-up?
00:28I think just go for it is the best advice.
00:32Whenever you feel down, whenever you feel like, I don't know, unconfident, just put on your favorite dress,
00:37go out with your friends, have a good time.
00:39Honestly, it's my favorite pick-me-up ever.
00:42I love that.
00:42So you look incredible tonight, and I'm sure you had a lot of fun getting ready.
00:46What was your go-to pump-up song as you're getting ready for tonight?
00:50I kind of didn't listen to anything.
00:52Nothing?
00:53No, not today.
00:55What's your song on repeat just in general?
00:59Oh my god, this is terrible.
01:01I'm putting you on the spot.
01:01Yeah, you're really putting me on the spot because I've been writing a lot.
01:06And so while I'm writing, I tend to not really listen to any other kind of music
01:10just because I don't really want to be influenced by anything else at the moment.
01:15I feel you on that.
01:16So that's all part of your songwriting process?
01:18Oh, sorry.
01:19I'm meant to be much closer to you guys.
01:24So if you could collaborate with anybody out there right now, who would it be?

01:37What was your vision for getting ready for tonight?
01:40Well, I kind of tried to combine my performance outfit and my red carpet outfit to purple.
01:47And that was the mood that I was in.
01:50That was kind of what I wanted to do, something that would kind of fit with the storyline to
01:54the video and what I'm performing.
01:56Oh, I love it.
01:57Are you a Janet Jackson fan?
01:59More of a Michael Jackson fan, but I am very excited to see Janet perform tonight.

02:14One thing we're seeing a lot of this year is a lot of visual albums and people kind of
02:17reimagining albums.
02:18Has that influenced your music in any way when you're developing music videos or you're
02:22coming out with new music?
02:23I think it's always really exciting, you know, to be able to kind of reinvent music in
02:28a different way and kind of allow your fans to also experience a whole new dimension of
02:33what you thought of when you were creating it just in the studio.
02:36Yeah, but I haven't really kind of gotten to that part myself personally as I'm still
02:40in kind of the writing process, but I'd absolutely love to be able to come together with something
02:44new and different for the next album.
