00:12Tip-off goes to Chicago and a look at the start is for San Antonio at the guard spots we'll
00:19be
00:19seeing Fox and Castle. Champagny slots in at the four with Wynn Benyama at the five
00:25and it's Vassell in at the three. When we think about the excitement that Jordan
00:30brings to the game but but what about the offensive fundamentals that the man is a
00:35perfectionist. Now here's Fox and a lot of contact on that one so he'll shoot two here.
00:45The Spurs shooting their first free throws of this team. And look back a season ago they did a solid
00:50job at the line. About 79 percent of their free throws. Two shots. Shooting two.
01:06That free throw no good. And I really love Fox's game and he's got a ton of room to
01:11grow. But boy does he play with intensity.
01:23Good on the second free throw.
01:28And it's Rose with the ball for Chicago.
01:34Short in the high post.
01:38Good defense by Castle. San Antonio with the ball.
01:45This one for three. And that's his first field goal. Now one for one.
01:49For three. That jump shot has been the biggest question mark for Castle. So it's good to see him
01:55shooting with confidence.
01:59Outside to him. Here's the three.
02:01Sinks the triple.
02:04Well that's an immediate answer.
02:06Because of the three at the other end.
02:07Yeah just going back and forth it is really competitive out there.
02:12Now here's Fox.
02:15Castle is screen on Rose.
02:17From deep.
02:19Castle misses.
02:21There's 130 gone here in the first quarter.
02:24Down low.
02:25Here's Jordan at falls.
02:27Nice speed that time from Scottie Pippen.
02:30And what you like there.
02:31Jordan never looks like he's rushing.
02:34Makes quick.
02:35Solid decisions.
02:36It's time to send it over now to our reporter.
02:39Allie Leportis.
02:40I had a chance to talk with the head coach for Chicago.
02:42When I brought up how they were going to slow down Victor Remy.
02:45The online coach just laughed at me.
02:47He said the dude is nine feet tall.
02:48Shoots it like that.
02:50And he has exceptional handles.
02:52What do you want us to do?
02:53I think that thoroughly answers the question.
02:55Back to you.
02:56Okay Allie. Thank you.
02:58Here's Castle.
02:59Following the basket by Michael Jordan.
03:02Outside Fox.
03:04Good on the three point shot.
03:05And that quick shot by Fox is something you know he has worked on religiously.
03:11Nice finish.
03:16Jordan outside.
03:19And the layup's good off the glass.
03:22Jordan's got eight points.
03:23Working his way for a high percentage look.
03:26That's just smart basketball.
03:27That's exactly what they wanted on that trip.
03:31Get something close to the basket.
03:33Something easy.
03:34Now here's Fox.
03:36Vassell.
03:37Wide open.
03:38A three pointer off the mark.
03:45Here's Jordan.
03:47Unable to get that one.
03:48And that's as good a defense as you can play without getting the block.
03:52Well that's right.
03:53Altering shots has pretty much the same effect.
03:56And he timed that one perfectly.
03:58It's always nice to get easy chances early in the game.
04:03That is a quality look.
04:05You can't do it much better than that.
04:08Jordan with the bucket.
04:10He's got ten.
04:11And not much else you can do.
04:13I mean defensively you try to make it hard on Jordan without fouling.
04:17But he's just too dialed in.
04:21Here's Vassell.
04:22Scores off the cross over.
04:24And when he gets in his head that he's going to get to the basket.
04:28Very little you can do defensively.
04:34Pippen down low.
04:36Covered by Vassell.
04:38That one goes.
04:39He's counting.
04:40Lethal from the mid-range.
04:42Pippen doesn't need much airspace to feel comfortable with that jumper.
04:47And so Mitch Johnson decides to call timeout.
04:50Coach is going to talk some things over with the team.
04:52Might be seeing something to adjust.
05:23Love check-in for Rodney.
05:26And Jimmy Butler coming in for Scottie Pippen.
05:28San Antonio also making some changes.
05:31Harris comes in for Devin Vassell.
05:33And it's Dylan Harper in for Fox.
05:44Spurs trail by four.
05:49Castle outside.
05:52And continuing his offense.
05:54Three of four.
05:55A 6-6 Castle is a strong finisher inside.
06:00And so it's Rose bringing it up for the Bulls.
06:05Jordan on the wing.
06:11Oh, and the jam by Jordan.
06:13The youth won't find a much more entertaining sight.
06:17I'd call that slam dunk contest level.
06:25Jordan's gone 75% from the field.
06:28Six baskets and eight attempts.
06:30Pass to Champagny.
06:32Here's Castle.
06:35No good on the triple.
06:37The Bulls leading by four.
06:40Jordan in the corner.
06:49It's just one of those nights where Jordan can do no wrong offensively.
06:54And let's talk about the endurance to go along with it.
06:58Wow.
06:59Here's Castle.
07:00After Chicago picking up a basket just moments ago.
07:03Oh, and it's a missed opportunity.
07:06And that is what he would love to have back.
07:10Jordan dishes to love.
07:15Jordan down low.
07:17He's against Champagny.
07:19Jordan can't get it to go.
07:22Here's Harper over Jordan.
07:23And he gets the whistle.
07:25Two free throws coming up.
07:27Well, this is the level of physicality Harper has to adjust to.
07:32It's going to get rough out there at times.
07:35And he makes the first.
07:37Some changes here for the Spurs.
07:40Luke Cornett, he's checked in for Wembenyama.
07:43Johnson comes in for Julian Champagny.
07:45And Aaron Fox subbed in for Stephon Castle.
07:53So he gets them both.
07:58Chicago leading by four.
08:04Jordan working it over.
08:11The kick out to Rose.
08:13Back to Jordan.
08:15Six to shoot.
08:17Shoots over Harper.
08:19And out of bounds as the Spurs gain possession.
08:23Shoots over elbow.
08:25Self-direction for the ball.
08:28Shoots over.
