00:00The one thing I'll say, and Mike has mentioned this,
00:04he's got to continue.
00:06He's got to go out there and have another performance
00:07to continue to make a teammate Crowe.
00:09And to this week, I know Allie's going to ask us about it,
00:11but this week is one of those things where you're not going to see
00:14drop back and play zone, and I don't think you can pick us apart.
00:17No, I completely agree with everything you just said.
00:21I love when these awards come out because it does give you a moment
00:24to stop the zoom out, like I talk about.
00:26It's like, let's just focus in for just one second.
00:29I don't know what he was able to do this past weekend,
00:31live in the moment for a little bit.
00:34There's obviously, and we'll always continue to be a lot of back and forth
00:38about what Mike is as a quarterback and what he excels at,
00:41and he said it best in that cut right there,
00:45like this credit offensive line, running game, receivers,
00:48everything else that kind of goes on around him.
00:51And Mike, when those things are going well, is as good as anybody, man.
00:55He has shown the ability to step into the football.
00:58His footwork has been 10 times better this year than it ever was at any point,
01:02in my opinion, over the last couple of seasons.
01:04And it's been fun to see the growth because, like I said,
01:07if you get those things around Mike, he can pick you apart.
01:11But you're right.
01:12I mean, you're about to see some of the most blitz-heavy teams in the NFL
01:17over the next few weeks, and you're going to have to prove that things are different
01:20than they were against Chicago.
01:21And it's going to be a weekly battle of if he struggles,
01:25this side of this argument is going to come out,
01:27and if he excels, this side of this argument is going to come out,
01:29and everybody is dunking on each other all the way through
01:32until he is named the long-term starter at quarterback for the Falcons.
