Turning Falklands ammunition into a chalice for Pope Leo XIV ahead of his visit to Argentina Using fragments of ammunition from the Falklands War incorporated into pieces of gold, silver and bronze, the Argentine goldsmith Juan Carlos Pallarols is crafting a chalice to present to Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Argentina from 8 to 11 November. Pallarols, one of Argentina’s most renowned goldsmiths, says his family has made chalices for every pope for 150 years. "For me, it is very meaningful," Pallarols tells AFP.
