00:00Tells me is a couple of things, is that one, if Michael Penix is struggling early, he has a hard
00:06time overcoming it late, right?
00:08Or adjustments aren't being made for him to overcome it late.
00:12You know, go back to the Green Bay game.
00:14I think he started like, I think it was like one of five or one of six, and then he
00:18just went nuts the rest of the game.
00:20Took him a little while to get, you know, get his feet under him.
00:25But I think when you start to dissect what Penix is and what he isn't at this point in time,
00:29and we do not have the full answer on any of this.
00:32We do not have the full answer on what he is and what he isn't.
00:34We just have some trends that support a lot of this stuff.
00:38I'll tell you that what he is is a guy with a really high ceiling.
00:43And what he is is a guy that when things are going right for him and the offense is set
00:48up right for him, he's going to be very successful.
00:52How often is it set up right for him?
00:54And remember, I mean, he's had a wide variety of coaching, a wide variety of offensive, you know, skill set,
01:01offensive systems that he's had to deal with over the course of two seasons.
01:05And so there's still a learning curve.
01:07Remember, I kept telling you guys the first two weeks, allow him to grow, allow him to change.
01:10We're going to do that.
01:11We're going to allow him to grow.
01:12I'm not, by no means am I saying that he shouldn't be allowed to grow.
01:16I'm actually advocating for that.
01:18Unlike everybody else who's like, oh, well, he stinks.
01:22Yeah, there's just ridiculous, you know, comments from fans in the media about what the guy is after playing 17
01:27games.
01:30But what it tells me more than anything is that Kevin Stefanski and Tommy Reese's job are to get completions
01:38under his belt early and often in the game.
01:41Continue to allow him to open things up slowly as the game goes along.
