00:08years ago.
00:09On Monday, a court gave him an eight-month sentence, suspended for a year.
00:14He was mobbed by fans as he left the court in London.
00:18The 37-year-old faced up to three years in prison after pleading guilty to a fray in July.
00:24A fray involves unlawful violence that causes fear for safety.
00:30The incident occurred at Tape, a private club in Mayfair, in February 2023.
00:36Despite the seriousness of the attack, the judge said Brown did not qualify for a custodial sentence because he pleaded
00:42guilty and there were several mitigating circumstances.
00:46The judge acknowledged Brown's previous convictions but said he had maintained a clean record in recent years.
00:52He was arrested in May 2025 after returning to the UK for a concert.
