Jonathan Van Meter detailed Kim Kardashian’s responses to his reporting for “Citizen Kim” in comments to The Hollywood Reporter, underscoring the editorial process around a major celebrity biography. The Kim Kardashian biography account notes her chief concern was his portrayal of her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. Van Meter said she also flagged passages on her sex tape and first husband Damon Thomas, though she accepted them after two safety-related lines were removed. He said Kris Jenner objected to coverage of her past affair. Van Meter added that Paris Hilton canceled interview attempts 17 times via a publicist.
