00:39kick it off with the unique enigma that is Jeff Hardy.

00:43And once again, we experience the rock star reception for the strange, unique enigma,

00:50Jeff Hardy.

00:54What a tumultuous last of several weeks it's been for Jeff Hardy.

00:59Ever since his brother cost him the WWE title in January at the Royal Rumble, Jeff Hardy's

01:05life has literally been upside down.

01:08And this is the first time we'll see Jeff Hardy in action since last week's SmackDown,

01:13where Jeff faced his brother Matt in that brutal stretcher match.

01:16Well, the object of this match was to incapacitate your opponent, put him in the stretcher, and

01:21cost the finish line.

01:22Jeff Hardy took every chance, and perhaps in the very end, Jeff Hardy, as he did at

01:29WrestleMania, took one chance too many.

01:34High risk, high reward.

01:36That's the career Jeff Hardy has always had, and last week, it did not pay off.

01:42Jeff Hardy's brother Matt vows that he will erase Jeff Hardy's image from the complete

01:49WWE universe before it's all said and done.

01:55Well, it's the Big Show!

02:04Standing at seven feet tall, weighing 441 pounds, the Big Show!

02:13Ladies and gentlemen, you're looking at, quite simply, the largest athlete in the world,

02:18the Big Show, and JR, he is not in a good mood.

02:21No doubt about that.

02:22We saw that Monday night.

02:23Of course, Big Show now is a property of Monday Night Raw.

02:26This week, we've won the last opportunities.

02:28We have to see the biggest athlete in the world here on Friday Night SmackDown.

02:35The Big Show involved in that tri-branded Battle Royal this past Monday on Raw.

02:40He was very dominant, very physical.

02:43In fact, single-handedly lifted Mark Henry over the top rope.

02:47I've never seen anyone do that.

02:49The damage a Big Show's fist can do to average-sized men, as is the 225-pound Jeff Hardy,

02:55is devastating.

02:57But what his right hand did to a 400-pound Mark Henry was absolutely off the page.

03:08Jeff Hardy giving up 260 pounds in this match.

03:13That's a lot of pounds.

03:15A lot of risk.

03:17One fall matchup here on Friday Night SmackDown.

03:20And the Big Show obviously trying to corner Jeff Hardy.

03:23Make the ring smaller would be the Big Show's objective, at least one of them.

03:29We talked about the Big Show being in a bad mood.

03:31How about the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania?

03:33The Big Show lifted up on the shoulders of John Cena.

03:37The attitude adjustment.

03:39The Big Show does not like being manhandled in that way.

03:43The Big Show's been in a bad mood for several weeks.

03:45But he is absolutely an extraordinary human being.

03:49And Jeff Hardy trying a single-leg takedown.

03:52And that might not be the most judicious offensive path for the High Flyer.

03:59Well, in the land of Tennessee, I don't think anyone would volunteer to face the Big Show.

04:08A true Goliath is the Big Show.

04:12Close to that 500-pound mark.

04:14An athletic 500 pounds.

04:16Just ripped Hardy's shirt off.

04:18What a chop.

04:20And it resonates all the way to the top row of this arena.

04:24Big Show's hands are, as the rest of them, a giant like.

04:28He wears a size 22 ring.

04:31And when those chops rain down on your sternum or your heart, it's devastating.

04:36It's got to be like being hit with a tennis rack.

04:40And Joe, what can Jeff Hardy do to beat the Big Show?

04:44What's his game plan?

04:45Well, there's a few things Jeff Hardy can't do.

04:47Jeff Hardy can't stand in front of the Big Show.

04:49Can't withstand those right and lefts.

04:51Hardy must pick up the pace and somehow destroy the vertical base of the 7-foot, 485-pounder.

04:59So basically, Jeff Hardy's strategy can't be the same one that John Cena used at WrestleMania.

05:04Jeff Hardy and John Cena are entirely different athletes.

05:07Cena's one of the strongest men in the history of WWE.

05:12That'll concave your chest.

05:14Jeff Hardy became WWE Champion by taking major, massive chances and hitting big moves when he had to.

05:24Not by overpowering people.

05:29When we saw Jeff Hardy just last night, JL, we had the honor of calling the first ever match in WWE Superstar's history.

05:35Jeff Hardy made an appearance as his brother, Matt, tried to hightail it out of the arena.

05:39Matt wanted to leave a match with The Undertaker last night.

05:42Jeff Hardy came down, interceded, put his brother, Matt, back in the ring.

05:46We saw the results of the amazing chokeslam by The Undertaker, who will be here tonight.

05:52And that's a very resourceful move.

05:55Jeff Hardy's got to be resourceful here.

05:57He's got to be resilient, creative with his offense.

06:00Hardy using the Big Show's own weight against him.

06:03Speaking of weight, how about the size of that headbutt?

06:06And you see what happens when Jeff Hardy stays in front too long of The Big Show.

06:12Whether it's The Big Show's fists or his hands.

06:16And look at that agility. 500 pounds, pushing over.

06:19With the covering, Hardy able to kick out.

06:22And one can only imagine how much energy it takes just to kick out of a lateral press by The Big Show.

06:29It's like having to bench press nearly 500 pounds.

06:34Jeff Hardy staying near those ropes, two reasons.

06:37One, he might get a break if he has to have it.

06:39Secondly, I think he may have needed the ropes to pull himself up.

06:43But look at the courage of Jeff Hardy.

06:47Jeff Hardy doing all he can, giving everything.

06:50But as you mentioned, JR, sometimes Jeff Hardy gives too much.

06:55It's like stepping on the interstate here on I-75 in front of an 18-wheeler.

07:01And look at the strength and the power.

07:07And look at this.

07:09Right across the skull of Jeff Hardy.

07:13And The Big Show controlling this match 100%.

07:17Well, that boot to the face is an extraordinary boot because The Big Show wears a size 18.

07:26And I'm sure when a lot of members of our WWE Universe think about Jeff Hardy,

07:30they think about his high-flying exploits.

07:32But they don't think about how tough this superstar is.

07:35Just think about all the beatings, all the shots he's taken over the years,

07:39including the ones that The Big Show is delivering right now.

07:45Big Show feeling very confident, as he should.

07:48He's enjoying this.

07:50And Big Show made the first mistake of this match for him.

07:56And Jeff Hardy's down, trying to capitalize.

08:00Using his own momentum.

08:01But the pace has quickened.

08:05Oh, and just like that.
