There’s a joke going around the Hunter’s Guild lately.
Word is, S-Rank Hunter Isa is playing nursemaid to a sickly half-blood—one who
needs to be carried everywhere, hand-fed, and cuddled during thunderstorms.
The Guild Elder pulled me in for a chat, tactfully suggesting that I "shouldn't extend
humanitarianism to non-human species." I told him he’s not non-human. He’s a
half-blood. He’s half human.
