At her Bloodline Awakening Ceremony, elite demon-hunter trainee Luna Nightshadow is found to have "no bloodline." Her fiance, Marcus Black, breaks off their engagement in front of everyone, and her rival Willow Green humiliates her. Her teacher, Alfred, reveals the truth: Luna in fact carries the Twin-God bloodline (Wolf God and Vampire Progenitor), a once-in-a-thousand-years lineage that the Green family has sealed away.
