00:00What do you think heading into it?
00:01I mentioned Green Bay versus Detroit, if not Chicago or Minnesota,
00:06and I both think that we kind of think Minnesota might head the other way.
00:11I think this game is huge in week seven because we're going to figure out
00:15if Detroit coming out of a buy has actually figured anything out here, Craig.
00:19They did get healthier on defense.
00:21Are you buying Detroit in this spot here against Green Bay?
00:25Okay, we're going to, I guess, do this early in the show.
00:31And there it is, Green Bay.
00:33Let's show it up there, folks.
00:34Green Bay, this is it.
00:36This is the pick.
00:37Really?
00:38Yep.
00:39Packers are the pick for me this week.
00:40Yep.
00:42The line is kind of telling me the story here this week, Joe.
00:45This is it.
00:46Detroit, a very short favorite at home.
00:50The Packers have not played their best football.
00:54Well, I'm going to take Green Bay this week.
00:56I think, I don't like the Lions.
00:59I don't.
01:00I don't think that they're a good team.
01:02I think they're slightly above 500.
01:03I could see them going back and forth all season long.
01:07And I'm getting a hook here.
01:09I'm going to take it.
01:10And I think that the Packers are heading in the right direction.
01:14I love the two receivers that they have.
01:16They're going to get Josh Jacobs back.
01:17They're going to be able to run the ball a little bit more.
01:19Not that, obviously, I'm looking forward to seeing him play with whatever was going on
01:22with him.
01:22I'm certainly not going to endorse that.
01:24But the reality is, on the football field, the Packers have been, as you've pointed out,
01:30the NFL's worst rushing team.
01:31And it hasn't been close.
01:32You cannot run the ball and still win.
01:35I mean, we've seen that through the years.
01:36Before Buffalo got Dalvin Cook, they really didn't run.
01:39And they just kept throwing all over the place and winning.
01:41And Mahomes didn't exactly have a great running back for all those years there, too.
01:45And they still won as well.
01:46But this is going to help the Packers on third and one and third and two get those first downs.
01:52Marshawn Lloyd, who was not expected to be a part of anything that the Packers were doing
01:58this season, was forced into action with everything that happened with Jacobs.
02:01And I think that they would have preferred to go another direction, Joe.
02:05If they had anybody else, I think they would have done it.
02:07But they were like, all right, you know, we're not going to make a trade for a running back.
02:10Teams don't do that generally during the season, unless your name is McCaffrey.
02:15They're kind of like, I will just try and fill with Pierre Strong or Brooks or somebody
02:19there.
02:19It didn't work.
02:21You know, Jacobs probably gets 10 carries, probably gets 40 yards.
02:24But what is that?
02:25It's four yards a carry.
02:26Nobody that they have is even coming close to that.
02:28So I think the Lions are headed for one of those back and forth type seasons.
02:35And yeah, I do think Green Bay ends up getting this one.
02:40I cannot believe Green Bay is where you were going with that.
02:44So if it is Green Bay, is that the that's the team that we got to worry about for Chicago?
02:51Because at that point, they are getting defensive help coming back.
02:56We don't who knows what Josh is going to be to your your point.
02:59But Parsons and and that defense, you think they're finally starting to figure it out?
03:04Can they give this the Chicago team a run for their money?
03:08Because I'm with you.
03:09I think it's Chicago and whoever wins this game on Sunday.
03:13Yeah, I yeah.
03:14I mean, look, it could be Detroit.
03:16You know, certainly it's I mean, the line indicates that it's just a very close game
03:20between these two teams.
03:22And listen, the other part of this is that as much as you and I probably feel this way,
03:26no matter what, we can't discount Minnesota because Minnesota, all they basically have
03:32to do is play just 500 football the rest of the season.
03:36And they're probably going to end up winning the division.
03:38They already have five wins.
03:39So 11 is going to get it.
03:40So what are we talking about?
03:42Six and five the rest of the way.
03:43That seems very doable for them.
03:45But then again, they're going to be in a scenario where even with a playoff game and with a home
03:50playoff game and getting a bye, if that happens for the Vikings, I think that the trust
03:54factor is not going to be there to go to the Super Bowl.
03:57What do what does Minnesota have?
03:58Joe, they have the best defense.
04:00If not in the NFL, it's very close to the best defense in the NFL that can win you a
04:04playoff game.
04:05But but just that alone with what they have, I don't think gets them ahead of those all
04:11those other teams that we just mentioned.
04:14I think Minnesota is ahead of ahead of Detroit, but I don't think they're ahead of Green Bay
04:18and I don't think they're ahead of Chicago.
04:24All right, I got to tell you, I think it's going to be a fascinating week number seven
04:29in the NFL and how this all comes out, Craig, is what it's going to be all about.
