Ο μοντερνισμός της Τασκένδης εντάσσεται στον Κατάλογο Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO  Τα μοντερνιστικά κτίρια της Τασκένδης συνδυάζουν νέες αρχιτεκτονικές ιδέες με τοπικά υλικά, μοτίβα και σχεδιασμό με επίγνωση του κλίματος. Δέκα εμβληματικά κτίσματα εντάχθηκαν πλέον σε μνημείο Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς της UNESCO.
