00:00Auntie is getting better. Jamie will grow up.
00:02With me here, things will get better.
00:04I'm not being impulsive.
00:06I want a home, a house, land, a home with you.
00:12Felix, I'm afraid I'm not good enough for you.
00:14Don't say that.
00:16In my eyes, you're better than anyone.
00:20Then it's settled.
00:22Once the house is built, I'll come propose.
00:35I'll come propose.
00:56Did you know someone from your hometown came by?
00:59Someone from my hometown?
01:01Who do you mean, Mr. Hayes?
01:03Vernon Quinn.
01:04Brought a few young guys, trying to ruin your name here.
01:07I saw right through it.
01:09Just plain jealousy.
01:11You're a star here.
01:12I wasn't going to let thugs cause trouble.
01:16I had the security department lock them in the reception room,
01:20starve them for 24 hours,
01:21and made them write a pledge before releasing them.
01:23If they act up again, we'll report them to the community office
01:25for disturbing the peace and disrupting production.
01:30Balthazar, I owe you one.
01:33Don't mention it.
01:34It's nothing.
01:36Balthazar, I got the bear paws.
01:40Four intact paws and a whole black bear.
01:43Six to 700 pounds of meat.
01:46You went alone?
01:47Are you hurt?
01:49Just lucky.
01:50The bear and a wolf pack took each other out.
01:51I just picked up the pieces.
01:52I got lucky.
01:55Where are the goods?
01:56Bear paws.
01:57Bear gallbladder.
01:58Bear hide.
01:59Let's talk price first.
02:01Six hundred dollars a paw.
02:03Two thousand four hundred dollars for four.
02:04The gallbladder is one thousand two hundred dollars.
02:07The hide is three hundred sixty dollars.
02:08Total is three thousand nine hundred sixty dollars.
02:10Deal.
02:11I'm keeping the meat and bones.
02:13You're a sharp one.
02:15All right.
02:15What about the other goods?
02:17Grain and veggies.
02:19Twenty nine wolf pelts.
02:20Apples, chestnuts, and jujubes.
02:22They're all downstairs.
02:25Balthazar, one more thing.
02:27Go ahead.
02:28I'm building a house.
02:29I need bricks, tiles, and cement.
02:31Any connections here?
02:35Those are controlled goods.
02:37Hard to get.
02:38But we're tearing down an old warehouse.
02:40I can spare some old bricks and tiles.
02:42I'll get you 30 bags of cement.
02:44That's plenty.
02:46Thanks, Balthazar.
02:49There's an old tricycle gathering dust in the warehouse.
02:52You can take it.
02:52Take it.
02:53Use it for procurement.
02:55But you'll have to fix it yourself.
02:57All right.
03:02Balthazar is shrewd, but he's a straight shooter.
03:05The bear paws and the rest.
03:06I'll deliver them tomorrow night.
03:07All right.
03:08The bricks, cement, and tricycle.
03:09I'll have them ready tomorrow.
03:10Great.
03:11I'll get going then.
03:23I can build the house like this.
03:24Won't need to hire many people.
03:26I'll mostly use the builder's tool, then hire some just for show.
03:34Felix.
03:37This.
03:38You did this in one night?
03:40Just a quick tidy up.
03:42This works too?
03:43There's an underground river.
03:45I rigged up a pump.
03:48I made a small opening for light.
03:50It's sloped, so it won't leak, and saves lamp oil.
03:53Felix, you're amazing.
03:58Felix, are you finding builders today?
04:02Yeah.
04:03I'll see Grandpa Sonny this afternoon to finalize the woodwork and get two helpers.
04:09The house will be right there, close to the cave, easy to keep an eye on.
04:14Then I'll help cook.
04:15Gotta feed the workers, right?
04:18Okay.
04:19I'll prep the cold dishes.
04:20You just cook.
04:21Simple food will do.
04:23Don't tire yourself out.
04:29Five main rooms, facing south.
04:32The dimensions are good.
04:34Just need enough timber.
04:36In a couple of days, I'll prep the beams and pillars.
04:39But I need two strong helpers.
04:41Know anyone reliable?
04:43Ephraim.
04:44He's solid and strong.
04:46And old Ephraim doesn't talk much, but works hard.
04:50All right.
04:51I'll go ask them.
04:52I need builders.
04:53It pays and it's meals.
04:54Pay and meals included?
04:55Deal.
04:58Starting so soon?
04:59Where'd you get the money?
05:01Made a bit of profit from purchasing.
05:03Got an advance from the factory, too.
05:05Can't live in a cave forever.
05:06Without a house, who'd marry me?
05:11Know your limits.
05:13Don't push yourself too hard.
05:15Yeah.
05:16Yeah, I know what I'm doing.
05:22Felix, you really building a house?
05:25Yeah.
05:26Five main rooms and a yard.
05:27Grandpa Sonny's on woodwork.
05:29Ephraim and old Ephraim will lay the foundation tomorrow.
05:35I'm heading to town after dinner.
05:38Going this late?
05:39Got a delivery for Mr. Hayes.
05:41I'll pick up bricks and cement, too.
05:42Borrowed an old trite from the factory.
05:44I'll make a few trips if I have to.
05:45Mountain roads at night.
05:46Be careful.
05:47No worries.
05:48I have my crossbow.
05:58Be careful on the road.
06:00Leave what you can't haul for tomorrow.
06:01Don't push yourself.
06:04Yeah, I know.
06:05Go on inside.
06:12Brought the goods?
06:17Good.
06:17Perfect.
06:20$2,400 for the bear paws, $1,200 for the gallbladder, and $360 for the pelt.
06:24That's $3,960 in total.
06:26The bricks and cement are all ready, and I had the mechanic fix up the old tricycle, too.
06:31Thanks, Balthazar.
06:35A small token for your wife and kids.
06:39This is too much.
06:41Compared to your help, it's nothing.
06:44Come on, please take it.
06:45All right.
06:46You're very generous.
06:47Drive safe.
06:54Everything's ready.
06:55Let's get the foundation done first.
07:05Done.
07:06A foundation made with the builder's tool.
07:08Looks great.
07:11Felix, Faye said you're building a house.
07:13We came to help cook and boil water.
07:15Aunt, don't overdo it.
07:16You just recovered.
07:17I'm fine.
07:18I can handle cooking a meal.
07:25Solid foundation.
07:26Felix, did you work all night?
07:28Felix, did you work all night?
07:29Just did a bit last night.
07:32The joints are perfect.
07:34No need to tweak them.
07:35We can raise the beans today.
07:37You prepped all this yourself?
07:39Prepped it over time.
07:40Thanks for the help today.
07:52The foundation is so level.
07:53Felix, you work fast.
07:55Moving fast.
07:56Making the most of the weather.
07:58Want to get it up quick.
07:59So you can bring home a bride.
08:01Right, Faye?
08:09Take a break, everyone.
08:10Time to eat.
08:14Felix, when this house is done,
08:17it'll be the best in the village.
08:19Hey, Frame, I'm just making do.
08:24Just an empty lot yesterday.
08:26Now the pillars are up.
08:28Felix, did you get the gods to help?
08:31It's all thanks to Grandpa Sonny
08:33and these two guys.
08:35Harold Quinn and Mrs. Quinn have no luck.
08:37They just cut ties with him.
08:38And now he strikes it rich.
08:41Tell me about it.
08:42This house will be so grand.
08:44All right.
08:45Building a house is a happy event.
08:47Don't mention those unlucky folks.
08:48Let's eat, then get back to work.
08:57We'll lay bricks tomorrow.
08:59Let's call it a day.
09:00Okay, okay.
09:00Everyone, take a break and have some water.
09:11Faye, once the house is built,
09:13I'll ask Chief Weston to be the matchmaker
09:15and officially propose.
09:21We're eating well today.
09:22Bear meat is very nourishing.
09:24Have some more soup, Auntie.
09:25Felix, let me cook it.
09:30Have some fruit first.
09:32They're perks from the factory.
09:37Auntie, this soup is made with Miracle Spring Water.
09:40It's good for you.
09:40I saved some extra.
09:42Take some home for later.
09:45This soup, it's really good.
09:51Felix, how big was the bear?
09:53Six or seven hundred pounds.
09:55Taller than me when it stood up.
09:57Then how did you get it?
09:59A shotgun.
10:00Got lucky, too.
10:02Felix, once the house is done,
10:04are you going to marry my sister?
10:06Jamie, don't talk nonsense.
10:09I'm not.
10:10The whole village says so.
10:11They say my sister will be the lady of this house.
10:14You're just a kid.
10:15Watch what you say.
10:17Felix, isn't that right?
10:21Yes.
10:24Jamie, once the house is done,
10:26I'll go propose.
10:27We'll be family then.
10:29Can I call you brother-in-law now?
10:33Sure.
10:34Brother-in-law.
10:36Yeah.
10:39When you leave later,
10:41take the fruit and chestnuts home.
10:42Enjoy them.
10:45Felix, proposing is a big deal.
10:47It must be done right.
10:48I know, Aunt.
10:50Once the house is done,
10:51I'll ask Chief Weston to matchmake
10:52and formally propose.
10:58Felix, you've had a long day.
11:00Don't see us out.
11:00We can walk ourselves.
11:03I'll walk you out of the cave.
11:04Janey, hold the lantern steady.
11:06Help Auntie.
11:07Guide your sister.
11:07Watch your step.
11:08Got it, brother-in-law.
11:09See you tomorrow.
11:16Hurry up.
11:17These bricks are worth good money.
11:18I heard they're cement, too.
11:19Go look for it.
11:29Felix Quinn, be smart and pretend you saw nothing,
11:31or your house won't get built.
11:33Just you guys?
11:45Call McDoyle.
11:47Hamish Lowell.
11:48Stealing from Greendale?
11:49Chief Weston,
11:50we weren't thinking straight.
11:53Felix paid for this.
11:55It's his approved private property.
11:57Know the penalty for stealing?
11:59Don't you know?
12:00Felix, how should we handle this?
12:03By the rules.
12:04And for the materials,
12:06they have to pay.
12:07Hold them for now.
12:08We take them to the community office tomorrow.
12:10They'll pay every penny they owe.
12:12Those bastards!
12:14It took me all day to plane those rafters.
12:17Felix, we'll be here early tomorrow.
12:20I'll come early, too,
12:21to watch the materials for you.
12:23Thank you, everyone.
12:29Did you lose a lot of material?
12:31Not really.
12:32Most of it is here.
12:34I'll take them to the community office tomorrow.
12:36As for your house,
12:37we fully support it.
12:39Thanks, Chief Weston.
12:43Everyone is asleep.
12:45Perfect time to head into the mountains.
12:54Harvest!
12:56Keep them for breeding.
13:01Kill the big ones.
13:02Catch the young ones and sows alive.
13:10That's enough for tonight.
13:23Smells great, brother-in-law!
13:25What's cooking?
13:26Jamie, don't call him that.
13:28Steamed buns and meat buns.
13:30It's hard work today.
13:31Eat up.
13:34Felix!
13:34That's quite a breakfast.
13:37Come join us.
13:38I already ate.
13:41Have a little more.
13:43Today's work is heavy.
13:47This filling is so good.

13:50You need good fuel for hard labor.
13:58Ant, eat one piece today and cure the other.
14:01Tonight, I'll make you some wyvern broth for your health.
14:04Cool.
14:10These bricks are laid perfectly.
14:12Better than the main settlement halls.
14:15Felix really went all out.
14:17How much did these bricks cost?
14:21The quins treated Felix like a slave.
14:24Now he's successful.
14:25They're just jealous.
14:27Serves them right.
14:30Felix, don't listen to them.
14:33I'm fine.
14:35People will talk.
14:36Felix, once this house is built, they will have a good life.
14:40We'll build our life together.
14:43Well said.
14:44When a couple is united, dirt turns to gold.
14:54Felix, what did you cook this time?
14:58Wyvern broth.
14:59To help Ant build her strength.
15:00Wyvern?

15:03Got it from a hunter.
15:04Aunt's been tired lately.
15:05She needs it.
15:06Everyone, have some later.
15:08Felix, don't always worry about me.
15:10You spent too much.
15:12Get healthy, Ant.
