00:00Kiara here from Stock Journal. We're at the Jamestown Feature Yew Market for October.
00:05It definitely was quite dusty and blew in a lot of buying competition to break a Jamestown
00:11sale yard record. So let's check out the market.
00:20About 21,000 yardage between the two A's and C's here today.
00:24With yeah two-thirds of that being a young ewes through the breeding sheep with a few shorn
00:29merino lambs and woolly lambs and a few crossy but a new top of record here at Jamestown today at
00:34476 on account the Lyrewood family from over out of Kimber Buckle Boo Way for some cow off the pipe.
00:40Blood young ewes.
00:41The bid now at 476 on the road is, I'm at 476 dollar bid, I'm at 476 finished, I'm at
00:47476.
00:50Sale started off very well on young ewes, top 10 470, just over 470 dollars which is a new Jamestown
00:58record.
00:59And the young ewes came in from local to west coast to down, oh well over the borough.
01:09Today our ewes hogget job, you can say it was similar enough to last market but we had a lot
01:12of sheep,
01:14a lot more range of our ewes hoggets and a few more runs here today.
01:17So a lot of our young sheep probably varied from sort of 2030 or 40 out to sort of 400,
01:23420 for that sort of a bit lighter or more smaller pens where then our real pick lines of ewes
01:28hoggets
01:28got more sort of 420 to sort of 450 out of 60.
01:32So overall that yeah that job was pretty good today and I think it was probably a bit more realistic
01:35for
01:35everyone overall here today.
01:39All right.
