Clay takes control of the battlefield with gravity, holding off Obsidian Biotech while Ian, Nina, Helena, and Jax escape.
But every use of Clay's power worsens the damage to his left leg. Ian finally understands that his father's old injury was never just an injury—it was the price of using his ability.
Clay forces his son to leave, then turns toward the Zero Layer Gate alone.
Behind it, Sara is waiting.
