00:00To this season's Europa League, a 4-1 victory over Marseille here, followed by a 3-2 success at Hoffenheim
00:08last time out.
00:09Are in the team tonight with Nubel, Meretti and Trossard, the trio keeping their places.
00:15Trossard's had time in England with Arsenal and Palace's big enemies Brighton.
00:20Jean-Philippe Macheta and Dwight McNeil start for the first time since the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
00:32So it's Crystal Palace who get us off and underway, kicking from right to left this evening as that's given
00:39away to Adam Wharton.
00:40No foul there, Pino collects, Mitchell on the overlap and here is Tyric Mitchell round the corner for Pino who's
00:46gone over, Macheta!
00:48Feet of Dwight McNeil who showed really good awareness here to flick it across, Pino took a tumble and they
00:55are checking now for an offside.
01:00And the offside is given, the goal is struck off.
01:05Use the classic cliche of his home stadium being a fortress as Richard gets up and sends it just over.
01:20Palace have had issues defending corners and were very nearly undone by the near post header there.
01:30Just the one goal for Besiktas since arriving.
01:33Here is Tyric Mitchell meanwhile.
01:35And Mitchell, well, neither one thing nor the other.
01:44Warton's corner, Mateta!
01:47Straight at Alexander Nouveau.
01:50It's another real sight of goal though for the Frenchman.
01:56Oh, and that's a misjudgment from McNeil.
02:00Fakhili.
02:03Palace doubling off on him and Daichi Kamada has won the ball.
02:10Fakhili wanted a free kick, but he wasn't forthcoming.
02:17Fakhili wanted a free kick, but he wasn't forthcoming.
02:23That's an excellent pass through the centre.
02:26And there's the opening goal, Wilfred Ndidi for Besiktas.
02:36In added time, at the end of the first half, Besiktas hit the front.
02:50Not much that Walter Benitez could do about that.
03:00Wilfred Ndidi with his first goal since February.
03:06And just look at how easy it was for him to burst through the centre of the Palace defence.
03:16Well, that is half-time.
03:18Danny Macaulay was blowing for a while and nobody could hear him, but the players do head off now.
03:28Off we go then in the second half, Besiktas leading Crystal Palace by one goal to nil.
03:34Besiktas this season winning all four of their league games here compared to picking up just three points in four
03:40away matches.
03:41Which has left them fifth in the standings, and the head coach knew just how vital that home support could
03:48prove to be tonight.
03:49And lightly's ball in.
03:50Oh, one-one.
03:51Dachi Kamada's there for Palace.
03:53No.
03:53The flag is up again to deny the Eagles, just as it was to rule out the strike from Jean
04:01-Philippe Mateta in the first half.
04:07Although, it will need a bit of closer inspection, I think.
04:18It's a goal.
04:20Crystal Palace are back level.
04:23The line came down on Palace's side.
04:31Halayli's flick on.
04:46Now, here's Mateta.
04:49And Mateta, wonderful!
04:53It's magnificent from Mateta.
04:56And Palace have turned it around to lead in Istanbul.
05:09What a shot in the arm this is for Pierre Sarge.
05:13As Palace strike twice in five minutes.
05:23On this occasion, it's an awful error at the back from Besiktas.
05:28The blind pass seized upon by Jean-Philippe Mateta.
05:32A horrible moment for Thiago Diallo.
05:36Murillo, who was one of the scorers in the victory over Hoffenheim last Thursday, is one of those being brought
05:44on here.
05:52It's gone behind.
05:55It will be a Besiktas corner, despite Palace being convinced it should have been their ball.
06:04A reminder that they've won all eight of their games here since July.
06:10Put four past Marseille on the opening matchday of the Europa League.
06:19But are deservedly trailing to Palace and have not offered a great deal going forwards throughout the piece.
06:25But there's still a fair chunk of time left.
06:29Halayli gets it clear.
06:32Still no movement on the bench in the shape of Czerny or Vlahovic being readied, which remains a surprise.
06:39That's a good piece of skill, though.
06:42And Oletan!
06:43Oh, wonderful!
06:45What a hit from Junior Oletan!
06:59The substitute makes a very speedy impact.
07:11Ten minutes or so after coming on, he sends an arrow beyond Walter Benitez and in.
07:19Czerny wanted the pass a bit quicker there.
07:22It's with Kamada instead, who sent it on for Jürgen Strand-Larsen.
07:26He's got his Mila Saar in the middle.
07:30And that's going to be a yellow card here.
07:34Oh, it's a red!
07:35It's a straight red card!
07:38Jürgen Strand-Larsen crunched by Umut Akdar.
07:49Kamada.
07:51Here's Nketiah.
07:53Ismaila Saar will take it in his stride and return it to Eddie Nketiah here.
07:58Nketiah, that's disappointing.
08:02Besiktas' 100% start to this season's Europa League League phase comes to an end as they're held to a
08:11draw.
