00:34She is talented and charming and makes being a pan-India superstar a style icon and a bonafide
00:41national crush look effortlessly easy. He is the internet-certified your man, a rather
00:47rowdy heartthrob who has never been particularly interested in playing by the rules, whether
00:53it's in his films or then his answers. They've shared the screen, a fandom, a thousand rumours
00:59and tonight, they're finally on the couch together to brew some coffee so heady, it might as well

02:38Oh my God. I've had so much fun. It was a holiday. We have had so much fun because it
02:42was genuinely one
02:43big fun holiday with family and friends. Right. You know, we all were in one property just enjoying and eating
02:51and just playing and dancing and whatnot. And that was the best fricking three days of my life.
02:58And when I, the first film that we shot together, we get married in it.
03:03But at the wedding, one thing I was particular that I didn't want any cameras around.
03:08I didn't want, first of all, nobody had phones. Everyone was present.
03:13And the team that was shooting the wedding, I was like, nobody talk to me. Don't come and say,
03:17sir, I need to see you. Sir, can you turn this way? I don't want to see anyone on stage

03:22than my friends and family. Right. So we had like a really small bunch of people who shot it,
03:28who never came in our space even. So I think you felt like you were amongst friends and family
03:33and doing your thing and you didn't feel watched and you didn't feel conscious about anything.
03:39You could just be in it. And Vijay, we've been friends for so many years.
03:42We have had a series of so many interesting conversations.

18:52As in, Sandeep's characters are, you know, like a director recently put it so well, they're always very honest.

19:22And also, we are very early in our career, and you have big dreams, and suddenly everyone's trashing your film.

19:34So, he was just expressing what he felt, which for me, you know what, whatever Sandeep does, I'll always support

20:05So, you have these two characters that are contradictory in many ways.
20:08When you do a push-par, and you do an animal, but you also have a girlfriend in your filmography.
20:13Ever since I started working in the film industry, you know, I've been criticised or trolled for one thing or
20:20the other.
20:21Like, either my performance, or the language, or the acting, or just the accent, or anything.
20:28So, for me, I never wanted to sort of put a barrier for myself.
20:33I didn't want to just work in one industry, I wanted to work in them all.
20:37I didn't want to speak just one language, I wanted to speak all languages.
20:41And so, very early on in my career, I started doing all kinds of films.
20:45So, today, when I'm a part of a brilliant film, like an animal, and a girlfriend, it gives me great
20:52satisfaction as an actor.
20:53Yeah.
20:54You know, because I'm like, I'm able to play them all.
20:56So, today, when you say, okay, there's a girlfriend, and there's an animal.
21:01Like, it's so different, but you're a part of both of them.
21:03I'm like, I wanted it that way.

21:07Did it bother you, Dorasmika, when in Hindi cinema, there was criticism on the accent?
21:12I particularly didn't have an issue with that, because they said I had a South Indian accent, but I'm from
21:18the South of India.

21:25But every film that I'm a part of, of course, I go and give this option to my directors saying,
