In the frozen seas of the Arctic lives a whale built for ice. The bowhead whale carries the thickest blubber of any whale and a massive, reinforced skull strong enough to break through ice from below so it can breathe. Its enormous mouth holds the longest baleen of any whale, straining tiny krill from icy water by the ton. Bowheads may be the longest-lived mammals on Earth - some are believed to be more than 200 years old, still singing their strange, ever-changing songs beneath the ice. A living witness to centuries of Arctic history. New whale documentary reels every day on Whale Documentry.
