00:00Every good drummer I know started with something dumb simple in their hands, not a drum machine.
00:05I scrolled through dozens of listings so you don't have to these are the best deals I found
00:09for top 5 percussion instruments for rhythm training. Kicking things off, this 3-inch
00:14steel tongue drum is the one I keep reaching for. Six distinct tones, and the sound is genuinely
00:20ethereal, it doesn't sound like a cheap toy, it sounds like rain falling on a tin roof.
00:25It's fully waterproof, so you can hang it outside and let it sing, and it comes with
00:29its own pair of drumsticks in the box. At 10 bucks and 69 cents, for something this portable
00:35and this pretty sounding, it over delivers. Next up is this wooden drum built for early
00:41education, and honestly, if you're introducing a toddler to rhythm, this is the one. The body
00:47is solid wood, so it feels substantial instead of plasticky, and the skin gives a warm, clean
00:52tap that kids can actually match. Parents love it because it's the kind of instrument you
00:57hand over without worrying. 1073, and it comes with a lot of happy classrooms in its review
01:03section. Now if budget matters, grab this two-piece elliptical drum and tambourine set
01:08for $5 flat. You get an egg-shaped jingle drum you can play with your hands or strap to your
01:14foot and stomp, plus a classic tambourine to layer on top. Two instruments, one price, and
01:19it doubles as a full-body coordination game for kids. Under 5 bucks for a 2-for-1 rhythm
01:25kit is almost silly. Then there's the full setup, this beginner drum set for children
01:30with dynamic jazz drums. This is the one that finally gives you the whole kit feel, snare,
01:36toms, cymbal, the works. What I like is it's real enough to grow into, so a 7-year-old learning
01:42on it isn't hitting a plastic block. 1672 buys the complete package, and at nearly 3,000 units
01:49sold with a 4.9, it's clearly holding up. Last, the cheapest on the list and the one
01:55that ends every party, this two-piece maraca shaker set. These are proper ORF classroom
02:00instruments, small enough for little hands, and they fill in a groove without covering
02:04up what's already happening. For 70, two shakers in the box, and they work just as well for
02:10Halloween parties, KTV nights, or practicing steady eighth notes. All 5 links are sitting in
02:16the description, so grab your favorite and start tapping tonight. If this helped you lock
02:21in a groove, hit like and subscribe, I'll keep hunting down the best rhythm gear for you.
