00:00Fish Scaler vs Fish Peeling Machine, Which Cleans Faster
00:04Ever stood over the sink scraping scales off a salmon with your thumb and tearing half the skin with it?
00:09That mess is exactly why I lined up 5 fish scalers and electric fish peeling machines,
00:14ran them all on the same fillets, and tracked down the best current deals so you don't waste money on
00:18the wrong one.
00:20Let's start with the Fish Skin Brush Fast Remove Fish Scale Scraper Planer Tool,
00:24because it's the most popular pick in this whole list at over 4,000 units sold.
00:29It costs just $5.31, it holds a 4.8 star rating, and honestly for a handheld blade tool it
00:36does a
00:36shockingly clean job. The edge catches scales in a single pass instead of 2 or 3, and it still fits
00:42in a drawer next to your can opener. If you've never used a proper scaler, this is the cheapest
00:47way to stop making a mess of every fish you buy. Next up is the Stainless Steel Fish Scales Removal
00:53Greater Brush Cleaning Peeler Scraper Bone Scaler, and at $4.89 this is the least expensive option
00:59here. What I like is the greater style face, because the little notches grab scales and roll
01:04them up into a peel instead of sending them skidding across your countertop. Stainless steel means it
01:10rinses clean, no rust, no weird smells after a few months in the sink, and with 4,200 units sold
01:16it's
01:16clearly not a risky bet for beginners. Now the Fish Skin Brush Fast Remove Fish Scale Scraper Planer
01:22Tool, which is nearly identical to the first one but hits $5.05 and carries a 4.9 rating,
01:27so it's slightly better rated than its twin. That matters if you're torn between two listings,
01:33because the difference in price is pennies while the extra tenth of a star comes from people who
01:37seem genuinely happy with it. The real reason it's worth buying is simple, the blade is sharp out of the
01:42box, so you get consistent results instead of one fish that scales clean and the next one that doesn't.
01:48But here's the one everybody actually wants, the HOMEFISH Seafood Tool's 6,000 revolutions per minute
01:54fish scale planer fishing scaler scraper EU plug electric fish remover cleaner. $40.64 is a lot more
02:02than a manual brush, and then it spins at 6,000 rpm, which means the whole thing is basically an
02:07electric toothbrush for your dinner. Scales don't get scraped, they get blasted off,
02:12the skin underneath stays intact, and a job that takes three minutes with a blade takes about 20
02:17seconds. It also comes with a European plug, so check that against your outlet before you order.
02:23This is the speed winner of the group by a wide margin, and it's the one I'd buy if you
02:27fish or
02:28clean fish every week. Notes, 7 paragraphs, 48-60 words per product block, fits 20-25s at 1.50 WPM.
02:38Verdict lands in P5, speed winner, and P6, power winner. HookP1 states the exact search phrase,
