00:00Are we deviating from all these noble principles?
00:04And if we are, why is it happening?
00:06And what can we do today?
00:09We have had the highest principles available,
00:13but they have not been the bulk of what has been practiced by the masses.
00:21The masses as they practice religion or culture
00:26is not really coming from Vedanta.
00:32Even though Vedanta is present as the bedrock,
00:38but the bedrock is far too deep for the masses to have accessed it.
00:46So if we look at popular Indian culture,
00:51specifically what we call as the Hindu culture,
00:54it would become difficult to map it to Vedanta.
00:59On the other hand, it is far easier to map our constitution to Vedanta.
01:05The culture on the street,
01:08that is coming from diverse sources,
01:10that is coming from folk traditions,
01:12that is coming from various trends of the Smriti literature.
01:18In most cases, it is simply coming from an experienced tradition
01:22no one knows the origins of
01:23and no one bothers to find out the origins of.
01:26So definitely there is a big problem
01:28and that is one of the reasons why
01:33the constitution becomes difficult for many people
01:37to accept as Indian.
01:39Correct.
01:40Correct.
01:43Well done.종
