00:00You talk of the Ghoongat as Indian culture. It is not.
00:03You know the tribes belonging to Arabia that used to practice parda.
00:07That was a cultural thing there.
00:08And when the cultural mixture took place, then that thing came to India as well and you started using the
00:14Ghoongat.
00:14In the name of culture, all that we know of is the stuff that we saw in our houses till
00:20a few decades back.
00:21And we think that is Indian culture.
00:22But that's a very illiterate kind of view of Indian culture.
00:27You know what is culture? That which people practice is culture.
00:30Culture is an ever-changing entity, right?
00:33That which most people start practicing becomes the culture.
00:36The great good elements of culture must be retained.
00:41And how do you know what is good in your culture?
00:43That which leads to the truth of the Upanishads and Gita.
00:47That which you are just blindly practicing is bad.
00:50It's simple, is it not?
