00:31Action!
01:00I'm Karan Johar and this, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, is season 9.
01:05So here's the math.
01:0722 years, 266 months almost to the day, 162 episodes counting this one, and more headlines
01:15than I can possibly keep track of.
01:17It also means I've spent the better part of two decades essentially asking people about
01:23their sex lives.
01:24And now that people have started asking me about mine, I think it's time to leave.
01:29Because sadly, my answers are nowhere near as interesting as theirs.
01:33But, but, what a ride it's been.
01:35It truly has.
01:36We made memories and we made memes.
01:38Stars came here, let their guard down, and very, very thoughtfully put their feet straight
01:43into their respective mouths.
01:44We've witnessed friendships collapse, rivalries reignite, and celebrities discover that the
01:50most dangerous thing in Bollywood isn't a flop.
01:52No, it's a rapid fire round.
01:54And now, we have just one last season to keep things crackling.
01:58I have to uphold the time on a tradition of the show and ask the questions that truly matter.
02:04Is a certain superstar still a virgin, who's hot and who's not, serious stuff like that,
02:10ladies and gentlemen, very serious stuff.
02:12A wise man once said, it's done, bro.
02:15And I think he's right.
02:16So who better to kick off my final season than the man himself?
02:21He's appeared on this couch only twice in 22 years, and it's taken me 10 long years to
02:26get him back.
02:27He's one of our last true blue heroes.
02:30He speaks his mind, wears his heart on his sleeve, and wherever possible, wears absolutely
02:36nothing on his chest.
02:37A superstar to billions, an emotion to many, and simply bhai to the world at large.
02:42Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for none other than Salman Khan.
03:04Should I sit there?
03:05Yeah, sit there.
03:06Okay, we can do that.
03:07No, no, suna hai ki aapka aakhri season hai.
03:10Anji.
03:11Toh isliye mai is kursi me baithna cha raho hon.
03:13I don't mind.
03:14No one deserves to sit there more than you.
03:17After coffee with Taran, here'll be coffee with Salman.
03:20Coffee?
03:21Why don't you take over?
03:22No, you come here right now.
03:24My coffee is right here.
03:25Okay, all right.
03:26Let's do it.
03:27Okay, firstly, thank you for coming and being a part of the last season of Coffee with Karan.
03:34Yeh asa toh nehi na ke last season bol bol ke, you got all of us to do coffee with
03:39Karan.
03:40And then you'll say that Gio Hotstar nai bola ke ekor season, the last season did so well.
03:46So Karan, come on, one last season, and then again a last season, and then again one more season.
03:52I promise you I'm not coming back.
03:53Sure.
03:54In the famous words, like I said, of a mega movie star, it's done, bro.
04:02It's done.
04:03All good things should come to an end.
04:05You'll still be doing Big Boss.
04:07I'll be off the grid.
04:08It's just the beginning for me.
04:10It's the beginning.
04:11As it should be, look at how good you're looking.
04:13So I'm going to start with an honest confession.
04:16No one gets me more stressed, nervous, and hyper than you, and I don't know why it hasn't changed.
04:21And I think...
04:21Is it because of you, or is it because of somebody else?
04:25It's only me.
04:25See, I mean, right now you should not be stressed because everything is all good and has been good for
04:29the longest time.
04:30Yeah.
04:30God willing.
04:31One point of time, it was not good.
04:34So I could have understood that it was scared of me because of not you, because of Shah Rukh.
04:44No, it was never because of that.
04:46Are you sure about that?
04:47I remember my first professional meeting with you was when I met you at Chunky's house, and I'd been rejected
04:56by a couple of main lead actors.
04:58I'll tell you who all rejected you.
05:00I think Saif Ali Khan rejected you.
05:01Yeah.
05:02Chandrachur Singh rejected you.
05:04Yes.
05:04And I think some three, four more people.
05:06Yes, many others.
05:07And I was standing rather sad at Chunky's house.
05:11He had a house party, and you came up to me, and your exact words were, you've been shopping?
05:17So I said yes, and he said, okay, come tomorrow and narrate your film to me.
05:22I said, where should I come?
05:24Because first day, I couldn't believe you were even asking me to come to narrate the film because I never
05:28expected.
05:28No, because Alvira had already informed me.
05:30Yeah.
05:31And you know how I feel about your mom and your dad.
05:33Yes.
05:34So I'm going to tell you a story of your dad, Sohail, and me.
05:38So Tom Uncle, we called him because he was very close to the government in Mauritius.
05:44Yes.
05:44So he had shot some films there earlier.
05:47So we called him for, I think it was, Hello Brother.
05:50Yes, yes.
05:50Then we said, Tom Uncle, you're very close to the boys in Mauritius, not the film industry and stuff like
05:56that.
05:57I think we wanted the airport or the airstrip and stuff like that.
06:01He said, yeah, I'll see you in the house.
06:02We spoke to him on a Tuesday, Wednesday night, he has called up, Sohail and me.
06:08And he said, yeah, what all did you want from here?
06:11That's it, from where Tom Uncle?
06:12He said, from Mauritius.
06:13I'm sitting in Mauritius.
06:14I'm sitting with the government and I'm speaking to them.
06:17So tell him what you want.
06:19He flew to Mauritius the next night to get this clear.
06:24Yeah, they don't make them like that anymore.
06:27No chance.
06:28And I remember my dad, Salim Sahib, Javed Sahib, together in my house, I have memories.
06:34And the fact that, you know, the relationship continues, I think that generation, they don't make like that anymore.
06:41And every time your father came home, calm ho, nahi, I mean, calm to the time you spoke.
06:45I think only Dostana, Dostana ke baad, kabhi kuchh kam nahi tha.
06:49Nahi.
06:49So every time he came home, he came home with an alcohol bottle for my father.
06:54Yeah.
06:55Yeah.
06:55That was him.
06:56And I remember that when I came to the set to narrate it, you were shooting for Jab Pyaar Kisi
07:02Se Hota Hai.
07:03And I arrived at 2 p.m.
07:04You said 2 to 10 ka shift here.
07:06And then at 9 o'clock you said, come home and narrate the film to me.
07:10And you had Salman, just for everyone to know this, Salman stayed, like the family stayed together.
07:16There was Arbaz, Suhail, Salman, Salmanti, Salim Sahib, everyone.
07:19And you had the tiniest room.
07:21And you had one closet, one cupboard, one bed.
07:24And I was shocked because I'm like, this is Salman Khan's camera.
07:28And I entered and you sat then, you removed all your clothes and you were in yellow shorts.
07:32So I said, he should not think I'm looking at him in any other way.
07:36So I started narrating the film.
07:37But you know that room, I never stayed there alone.
07:39Yeah.
07:40I stayed there with somebody, jisko mi nah kabhi dekha hai nahi.
07:44Sif suna hai.
07:45Sif mhsous ki hai piche hai.
07:48Who?
07:50So every time I came out, the lights used to go on and off.
07:55What?
07:55Yeah, the cupboards used to open up.
07:57The music used to come on.
07:59Then the bathroom, I could feel somebody outside, you know, fidgeting with the cupboards.
08:03And I used to open it.
08:04And then I figured out that there was somebody there, something there.
08:07You felt it was like haunted?
08:09Yeah, yeah, yeah.
08:09No, not haunted.
08:10I mean, there was a presence felt there by me.
08:13And then so every time I put on some music and I could feel it right behind me.
08:18And I would say that, kya music shunna pasant kare hai haap?
08:21What kind of music?
08:22And I said, just press any button, I used to walk out.
08:25What?
08:25So there was a billiard table outside.
08:27Yeah.
08:27Earlier.
08:28Yeah, yeah.
08:28When we used to play billiards, we could hear, you know, somebody inside.
08:33And this didn't fit you out?
08:34Music on ho gaya.
08:35No, no.
08:36No?
08:37It didn't do anything.
08:38So my only request was that if you're a really, really beautiful woman, then you show yourself
08:44to me.
08:46But I narrated the first half of the film staring at another wall.
08:50And you heard me, you were hearing me very intensely.
08:54And then you got up at interval.
08:56And you said, okay, I'm doing the film.
08:58So I said, uh, and I got stressed because I had only narrated Shah Rukh's part.
09:03There was no, you hadn't arrived.
09:05So I said, but Talman, your part hasn't yet come.
09:09But, you know, Karan, even before you had come to narrate it to me, no matter how bad it
09:14was, I had to confirm, I had to decide my mind, no matter how bad it is, I'm going to
09:18do it.
09:19That was a given.
09:20I mean, there was, there was nothing, you didn't even have to narrate the film to me.
09:23And you didn't have to do it.
09:25There was no reason for you to do it.
09:26No, this was the reason to do it because dad, your dad, your mom, my mom, Alvira, you guys.
09:35And so, and yeah.
09:37So you got up and you said, uh, what are you going to pay me?
09:42So I said, uh.
09:43That's another thing.
09:44And you said, I'm not going to pay anything.
09:45Even then it was done.
09:46There's four, Tom, uncle and his son.
09:49I don't, I don't even want money for guest appearance because I had already done so many
09:53guest appearances without any money.
09:55So this was not really a guest.
09:56This was 12 days of work.
09:57Yeah.
09:57But I've done 22 days of guest appearance.
10:00And so that's.
10:02And you arrived and then you walked outside and you hadn't heard the second half.
10:05And there were a bunch of filmmakers sitting for their next meetings with you.
10:09And you walked outside and you said, what a second half he's written.
10:12And you hadn't heard the second half.
10:14And I was like, I was so flummoxed because I'd never experienced something like this.
10:18And then the funniest thing happened.
10:20We were, we started the schedule with Sarjanji Gharai.
10:23And you were doing a double shift in those days.
10:25Yeah.
10:25You were shooting for Hamdil Dejo Kisanam.
10:27A BV number one and for Kuch Kuch.
10:30Okay.
10:30They were all simultaneous.
10:31You were shooting the Patangwala Gaana.
10:32Yeah.
10:33And every day you would tell me, and this is really funny.
10:36Every day you would tell me, what a song Sanjay Leela Mansali is shooting.
10:39What a song.
10:41So I was like, anyway, it was my first film and I was getting very, because when I was
10:45shooting with Shah Rukh, he was telling me about Dil Se.
10:48And you were telling me about Hamdil.
10:50So I was complex.
10:51I was shooting the Patangwala Gaana.
10:53I was shooting BV number one Hai, BV number one.
10:56And then you were shooting Sajir Jigharai.
10:57And then I was shooting this one as well.
10:59Sajir Jigharai.
11:00So when I used to go to Sanjay's set, I used to say, what a song Karan is shooting.
11:05And David, yeh dhono kya yaar, Gaana shoot kar rahe.
11:08And the funniest thing is one day Sanjay Mansali came on my set looking up and down like that.
11:12And I'm thinking, kya Gaana shoot kar rahe, Gaana shoot kar rahe, kya mein utna bhi kar rahe.
11:17And Sanjay Mansali came on the set, he's like, you know, Salman told me you're shooting an outstanding song.
11:21I said, but he's telling me you're shooting an outstanding song.
11:24So it was really quite hilarious to see Bansali walk in, check out my set.
11:29Well, I really wanted to go and check out his patang wala song ke kya kar rahe.
11:32And you were this person.
11:34And you were just, like, it was crazy.
11:36And your DP, and your DP.
11:39You know, and then the funniest thing happened.
11:41He shot the whole song in high speed.
11:42No, he shot one.
11:44You were going to catch a flight for Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai.
11:48It was a big outdoor and it was our last shoot on set and climax.
11:53And this is the end of the film where there's Shah Rukh, there's Salman Khan, there's Rani Mukherjee as a
11:58ghost.
11:59There's Kajal, there's Reema Laguji, there's Anupam, there's Farida Jalal.
12:04And we shot an entire day in slow motion because the cameraman forgot to put the lever up to 24.
12:11Those days, we couldn't tell him.
12:13I run to your house in the middle of the night and you're all ready to go to Switzerland.
12:17And I meet you and I said, Salman, please stay back one more day.
12:21We have shot an entire day in slow motion in 48 frames.
12:24And you laughed and you said, I'll see you tomorrow.
12:27And you arrived and we shot the whole day again.
12:30And every time you would face the camera, you would look at D.O.P. and say, 48 frames.
12:35You would say 48 frames.
12:36And like, you know, when I look at those days, Salman, like everybody had a certain togetherness,
12:43a certain kind of camaraderie, a certain fraternity feeling.
12:47I mean, it's gone.
12:49Today, actors are dealing with publicists and PR.
12:52No, but depends on who actors you're talking about.
12:55With us, it's still the same.
12:56Yeah.
12:57With us, it's still the same.
12:58Nothing has changed.
13:00Even when the PR tells us, that it's going to do this, it's going to do this.
13:03I say, you've just come into the industry.
13:05We've been here since, you know, decades.
13:09So now don't tell us what to do.
13:10Yeah.
13:11But what you've gone on record and spoken about trolling and spoken about the paparazzi culture
13:16and how they shoot images from certain angles.
13:19And you've been very vocal about it, Salman.
13:21And thank God for that.
13:22Because there's so much that is not right with what's going on.
13:25It's just getting out of hand.
13:27Look, when PR came, there's some people pay the PR for their sighting.
13:33Or what is it called?
13:34Sighting, it's called sighting.
13:35Yeah.
13:35Airport loop, all that.
13:37So, and people, there's some people who want to do that stuff.
13:40I was not speaking about those kind of people.
13:43I was speaking for those people who don't want it.
13:46Yeah.
13:47And they're really bad angles.
13:49Yeah.
13:49And, you know, girls are uncomfortable.
13:53Jisne ke phone bana hai na.
13:55Or phone mein camera jisne bana ya hai.
13:58Woh agar kahi mujhe mil gaya na.
14:00Jisne, hum hum sab ki zindagi hain barbaad kare.
14:03So now every guy who has a phone has a camera attached to it.
14:07Yeah.
14:07And this always used to bother me.
14:10Guess who.
14:10Guess who matthab kaha se guess kare hai hai.
14:12Because they showed the back.
14:14Yeah.
14:14And say guess who.
14:15I mean, that's ridiculous.
14:16Is that a way of guessing anybody?
14:18Also, I think what's amazing to know, this particular year, we've seen Akshay give two solid successes.
14:27We've seen Ajay give Drishyam.
14:29We have two massive movies coming from your end.
14:33We have Shah Rukh ending the year with King.
14:35It's almost like this order of illustrious gentlemen.
14:40Akshay, Ajay, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan.
14:43Just holding forth.
14:44Today, the biggest successes are still coming from all of you.
14:48What do you have to say about, is the other generation not matching up?
14:52Or are you just not allowing them to?
14:54We're interested in our work.
14:56Yeah.
14:57We want to get out of our houses.
14:59We want to go on to the sets.
15:01And we want to do good work.
15:03Sometimes it turns out right.
15:05Sometimes it does not.
15:07But the films that we make are the films that every Hindustani would be comfortable to see with the whole
15:15family.
15:16That is one of the main reasons.
15:18And because we're interested in our work.
15:19You know, most of the films sometimes, like, I see a vision, you know, that this is the way this
15:25film is going to turn out.
15:27But the director doesn't see it like that.
15:29Yeah.
15:29That is when the thoda bod garbar happens.
15:33When I mentioned Aamir just now, an interesting line that came up when I was reading all the interviews in
15:38my research.
15:39Aamir said, I'm going to tie Salman's hand and feet and get him married.
15:44And then you said, much after that, said that I'm going to tie his hand and feet and make sure
15:49he never gets married again.
15:50But he's married now for the third time.
15:52You're still not married.
15:53I'm happy for him.
15:54I'm happy for him.
15:55Yeah.
15:55And you?
15:56Yeah.
15:57Me?
15:57What about me?
15:58I'm doing fine.
15:59You're fine?
16:00Are you still a virgin?
16:03Yeah, that was a way of saying, Karan, that I don't want to talk about it.
16:07That was the way of saying it.
16:08Because you keep on saying that you're dating so on, so on, so on, so on, so on, so on.
16:12You don't want to talk about it.
16:13Yeah, I never want to talk about it because, you know, you never know that this is the person who's
16:18going to be in your life for the rest of your life.
16:21And that person goes ahead and gets married with somebody else.
16:24You know, so I've always had this in the time I was 15, 16 years of age.
16:30I've seen from my father that, yeah, yeah, person like bedroom, bedroom, living room, poor country, hair job, living room,
16:38poor country, hair job, living room, poor country, but does it feel like Salman,
16:44Salman Khan, itna bada phenomena hai, woh sabka hai, woh uska kohon hai?
16:49So you have a family, you have a family.
16:51Yeah, I would put, like, I know I'm lonely because I don't have a partner.
16:55You know, but you, you have kids, you have a mother, you know, so, I mean, you, a fortunate, I,
17:01I'm lonely is, when nobody wants to be with you, Karan.
17:05I don't think that people don't want to be with you.
17:08Do you miss having children of your own?
17:10No, of course, I will have children at some given point of time.
17:13You will?
17:13Yes, of course, I will have children.
17:14Because that was a big blessing for me.
17:16Yeah.
17:16I feel so...
17:17That's the most amazing thing, and I was really happy for you when you did that.
17:20Yeah.
17:21Yeah.
17:21Yeah, because...
17:22And so you can never say that I'm lonely.
17:24You have two beautiful kids, and then they will grow up, and they will have girlfriend and boyfriend, and they
17:29will get married and settle down.
17:31They will have children, and you will be grandpa, Karan.
17:36No, but I just feel like we've seen our parents in marriages, and who've been partners to each other.
17:41Sometimes I just feel like...
17:42But nobody stopped you from that, Karan.
17:44Yeah, somehow, sometimes I...
17:45Nobody stopped me, either.
17:47It's just that you stopped yourself, and I have stopped myself.
17:49Yes, that's true.
17:50So you cannot be complaining that I wanted this, and the whole world went against me, and that is the
17:57reason why I could not be with a partner.
18:01You know, I can't blame anyone.
18:02It's my decision, and I'm happy with that decision, but yes, kids will come in.
18:08Salman, you have amassed the most incredible love within the industry.
18:14People who have come in contact with you, and the lives that you've touched in the journey has been beyond
18:21what words can describe.
18:23I have some people who'd like to say something about you to you.
18:26Let's have a look.
18:27If I had to describe Salman Khan in one word, it would be...
18:33Icon.
18:34Hey, Mamu.
18:36I love you, man.
18:38I love you.
18:39I call him Bhaij.
18:40Hi, Bhaij.
18:42How are you?
18:46I'm good, brother.
18:48I love you.
18:49Since then, you know, we've had this amazing relationship.
18:51We're like family, all of us.
18:53I mean, the bond you shared with my papa was just so amazing.
18:57You know, he loved you like his son, and yes, there's so many similarities between you and him.
19:05He always said that.
19:07Bhaij and me, you know, we are the bad boys of the industry.
19:10For me, he's my biggest inspiration to be an actor, to be a better son, to be fitter.
19:16He's an industry man.
19:17When the going gets tough, Salman Khan gets going.
19:21He stands for people, you know, when they need it the most, he's there.
19:24We were shooting for dust and we were rigged onto a helicopter.
19:29And the helicopter was supposed to fly and go down into the water, into the reverse shot, you know.
19:34So I was hanging out, he was hanging half out, I was out.
19:38So I started feeling my rig, it started to be loose.
19:43So I started shouting, I said, I held his leg so tight, you know, I felt I'll fall, you know,
19:51and it was, it's hilarious.
19:53I still remember the night when we had gone in 2000 for shows and something happened and you got upset
20:01with me and I walked off and then you came chasing behind me and you sat with me and we
20:06sat on the pavement
20:06and we tried it for so long and he was so warm and nice and loving.
20:11I still remember that.
20:13His contribution to my dad's career, it's paramount.
20:17And the biggest thing he gave my dad was love.
20:19And when I got successful, he was the first one to call, the first one to stand when I was
20:24nothing.
20:24And Meite Rahiro, he came and dubbed out of nowhere.
20:27He loves kids himself, you know.
20:29You know, we want them to be settled.
20:31We should also be a little boy, a little boy Salman, who gave us a lot of people to get
20:35out of nowhere.
20:37Actually, why don't you marry me?
20:40We all are married.
20:42We are married.
20:45There can never be someone like you, Salman.
20:48You're just amazing.
20:49And thank you for everything.
20:51You've done not just for me, but for so many, many people around.
20:54We love you, the dhawans love you, bhai.
20:56And I'll always be proud of you.
20:58And I love you.
20:59Dil se, always.
21:02And jabi bhi zindegi mein kuch vi ho, ek bada bhai khada hai.
21:06Always.
21:07Always.
21:09What does it make you feel?
21:10Yes, well, I'll tell you, this doesn't come from us.
21:12I mean, this has come from my father and my mother.
21:16So I remember that there was a time when dad was struggling
21:20and he just left everything and then all sab chod chad ke aagaythe.
21:24And he's working for 750 rupees.
21:26And then, so then one friend of his came and there was like a,
21:30when they were in Indore, they used to have this eating competition
21:33and there was no food at home.
21:35Toh, mammy ne, jo bhi tha, woh bana ya.
21:38Pher, woh, shorway mein aor paani daal dia.
21:40And he kept on eating, eating, eating, eating, eating, eating.
21:43And eventually, he said, bas, it nahi ye ke, or nahi he, it's ahaa ek chiz hai.
21:46And I think Sohail was about six months old.
21:50He said, mehre chhe mahine ka bachcha, he sko khaja saale.
21:56Yeah, but it's obviously coming from the goodwill that...
22:00So, I mean, even at that given point in time,
22:02um, they were still giving away in their limits at that
22:06when we didn't have much, you know,
22:08and we learned that from our neighbors as well,
22:11from Mr. Goodino, Mrs. Goodino.
22:13Our tea used to be there
22:14because there was no money at that point in time.
22:18But that dad's hand has always been like this.
22:22And so has mom's.
22:24Recently, we spoke about it.
22:26You went on Big Boss
22:27and created the most viral moment
22:29where you removed your shirt
22:30and you were making a statement.
22:32It's not that you were showing yourself off.
22:34You were making a statement in anger
22:36and in, not in protest,
22:38but you were making a statement.
22:39Frustration.
22:40A point.
22:42No.
22:43But then...
22:43It was anger.
22:44It was anger.
22:45I know it was anger.
22:46Anger was...
22:46You felt it.
22:47Frustration, anger.
22:48It was...
22:49It was, um...
22:50Yeah, I mean...
22:50But what struck me
22:52is I remember passing a signal
22:55and watching in 1988
22:58because I'd just given my board exam
23:01and the film was
23:03And I passed the Maheem Junction
23:06and I saw this poster of a leading man
23:09and a leading actress who were new
23:12and they were coming in a Suraj Barjatyah film
23:14who was Rajshi films.
23:15That was it.
23:16And what realized here
23:17that there was a shirtless revolution that began
23:20that almost can track your career.
23:22Because it began here
23:23and then it went on to O-O Jana Jana
23:26which was like defined the gym culture of our times.
23:30Then you do this in Wanted after many, many years
23:33and you create this culture.
23:34That goes on to Dabang
23:36and that goes into the most unusual take
23:40on a shirtless image
23:41which is in Sultan
23:42where you had no holding back
23:45on showing this body
23:46which you did with Abandon
23:47as an artist and actor.
23:49And that goes straight into this clip
23:52that went viral to every possible...
23:54and that goes on to my brother
23:55and told me
23:56don't do it.
23:58Don't do it.
23:58Don't do it.
23:59Don't do it.
24:00It's so annoying.
24:01He's so annoying.
24:02He's so annoying.
24:02He's so annoying.
24:08He's so annoying.
24:24He's so annoying.
24:24in my life right now
24:25because of a lot of injuries
24:27and stuff like that.
24:28Yeah, yeah, yeah.
24:28You know, it was unfair on them.
24:30No matter how old you are,
24:31it is unfair on them
24:33to see me like that.
24:35Okay?
24:36I had ribs broken
24:36and then some hernia.
24:38Hernia had some stuff here
24:40and the shoulder messed up.
24:42And this all came in from Sultan
24:43on my knee and back
24:46and then the trigeminal neuralgia
24:48and the aneurysm
24:49but that is not any justification
24:52for how I was looking then.
24:56You know?
24:56So there is that thing
24:58that I shouldn't have let go
25:00for that time.
25:01No matter what my struggle is,
25:03you know,
25:03with my own physicality,
25:05I shouldn't have let go with that.
25:06Because there are a lot of people
25:07who get inspired,
25:09you know,
25:11by me.
25:12The older generation,
25:13the younger generation,
25:14you know,
25:14people who have grown up in me
25:16and they've got kids
25:17and they see me like this
25:18at the age of 60.
25:20So they say,
25:21Dad,
25:21if he's looking like this,
25:23you know,
25:23why can't you look like that?
25:24And then there are some people
25:26that I see
25:26who are 10 times fitter than I am.
25:29So I look at them,
25:30I get inspired by them
25:31and I go to the gym.
25:32But this was not,
25:33this taking the shirt off
25:35was not that they're trolling me.
25:36Yeah.
25:37With my trolling,
25:38I don't know what I am going to do next.
25:40How do they know
25:41what I am going to do next?
25:42No, they don't know.
25:43So I will take that energy
25:46and I'll convert it
25:47into positivity for me.
25:49And the ones who give me
25:50the positive one,
25:51I will make sure that
25:53when they see me next time,
25:55they will see me better
25:56than the last time.
25:57No, but it's incredible.
25:58So I have a confession to make.
26:00I was a Salman Khan fan,
26:01not because he looked
26:02gorgeous shirtless,
26:03but also because there was
26:04an incredible aura
26:06that you emanated.
26:07It's, it's majestic.
26:08There's nothing that you can do about it.
26:09You have been great.
26:10Yeah.
26:11Been very kind.
26:12Karan,
26:13you have called us
26:13with Karan
26:15and you don't call us.
26:16Do you drink coffee?
26:17Where do you drink?
26:18It's cold.
26:19No, but coffee reminds me,
26:21we've had a journey.
26:23This is the third appearance
26:24you're making
26:24and I'm grateful for that.
26:25But it's not gone unnoticed
26:28that you have been the phenomenon.
26:30You are.
26:31On our coffee journey,
26:32I don't think there's been
26:33a single episode
26:34where you haven't been mentioned.
26:35Let's have a look.
26:42Are you saying
26:43you're a virgin?
26:44Yes.
26:45You're a virgin.
26:46If you were on a boat
26:48with Shah Rukh Khan
26:49and Salman
26:49and there was just one place,
26:51who would you push out?
26:52Salman.
26:53Because my brothers
26:53will never fall asleep.
26:55What would biopics
26:57on the following be called?
26:58Yourself.
26:59I think my biopics
27:00should be called Kal Hona.
27:00And if it was Salman's biopics,
27:02if it was Salman's biopics,
27:02if it was Salman's biopics,
27:03it will be called again.
27:04It will be called again.
27:05Yeah.
27:06Shah Rukh Salman Aamir,
27:07your favourite Khan.
27:08As an actor,
27:08I prefer Salman.
27:09Salman.
27:10Salman.
27:11Salman.
27:13Salman is my favourite.
27:15Salman Khan.
27:20Salman.
27:22Do you think you're an average actor?
27:23I think I'm below average actor.
27:25I've seen Salman doing some very good work
27:27and I always felt that
27:28why doesn't this actor get his due?
27:31Which actor or actress can cry at the drop of a hat?
27:33Salman.
27:34Yeah, like that.
27:34Wow.
27:35Like that.
27:35He's joking, he's laughing,
27:36and suddenly there's an action
27:37and boom, tears can come out.
27:39During takes,
27:41Bhai would always in the evening
27:42make people look out
27:43and they would always chill.
27:44Real life.
27:45It was really good to all the kids.
27:46I had gone to Filmistan,
27:48so I'd gotten out of the car,
27:49I was heading into the studio
27:50and from across the thing
27:51he was sitting outside his van
27:51going, Imran.
27:52Come here.
27:52He sat me down,
27:54put a plate in front of me,
27:55suddenly these huge dishes of food
27:56are brought out
27:57and he sits over me like this.
27:58And as I'm eating,
27:59he keeps serving me.
28:00So the more I eat,
28:01the more food there is on my plate.
28:02And he wouldn't let me go
28:03until I finished it all.
28:04Three things no one knows about you.
28:05I'm a great guy,
28:06great guy,
28:07great guy.
28:08And you're good in bed
28:09or something like that.
28:10Oh.
28:11Who in the industry
28:12according to you
28:13could never win?
28:14How do you feel
28:14when you see yourself
28:16saying all these things?
28:17No, I'm so awkward.
28:17Salman Khan.
28:19Who's the last person
28:20you would go to
28:20for relationship advice?
28:22Salman Khan.
28:23No, no, no.
28:31Who's more entertaining?
28:32Off screen.
28:35Who looks best shirtless?
28:37Salman.
28:39I forget my lines
28:40when he looks into my eyes.
28:41Salman.
28:41Dude, he's something else.
28:43Yeah, kind of.
28:44You woke up one morning
28:45and realized
28:46that you had turned into
28:46Salman Khan, you would?
28:48I would be really happy.
28:49He fears nothing
28:50and I think,
28:51I really honestly think
28:52everyone in life
28:53wants to be fearless.
28:54The best and worst part
28:55of being Salman Khan.
28:56You're in trouble all the time.
28:58Is the worst part?
28:59No, that's a good part.
29:01Not being able to get out
29:02of it is a problem.
29:03The first word that comes
29:04to your mind when I say
29:05Salman Khan.
29:07Dabang.
29:07A recent film that you wish
29:08was yours.
29:09Dabang.
29:31Dabang.
29:32I was like,
29:32how have I gotten away with this
29:34and why didn't you slap me?
29:34Yeah, when I see my stuff also,
29:36when I've said some things earlier
29:38like the virgin thing,
29:39even I cringe.
29:40But that's fine.
29:40That was then.
29:42Move on.
29:43Don't carry your past with you.
29:44Live in the future.
29:45Don't live in the future,
29:46live in the present.
29:47Make your present.
29:49Your future is sorted.
29:50But I can tell,
29:50when I see these excerpts, Salman,
29:52you seem so different
29:53and so much more like,
29:55what is the word?
29:56Like more zen-like.
29:57More like composed.
29:59Like a life lived.
30:00You mean less energy.
30:01No, not less energy.
30:03I don't mean that.
30:03I mean a lot more,
30:05just a lot more composed.
30:07And yet...
30:08See, the thing is that
30:09all the advices that I've given,
30:11quite serious advices,
30:13there has come a time for me
30:14to follow my own advices.
30:18And you feel this is the time?
30:20So, you give advices.
30:21And then you realize,
30:22that I told you this.
30:24Why didn't I do this?
30:25He gave me advices.
30:27So, I've always done,
30:29if I've given,
30:30said something and given advice,
30:32I make sure that,
30:33that I follow that as well.
30:35Well, my advice is,
30:37that when we do the next round,
30:40which is the rapid fire round,
30:42that we actually do something
30:44different with it this time.
30:45Sure. Anything.
30:46I've done it once before,
30:47only with Aamir.
30:48And I'm doing it again,
30:49on the last season,
30:51where I compete with my guest,
30:54for the rapid fire round.
30:55Oh, lovely.
30:56And we...
30:57I'll take a hamper,
30:58I'll take a hamper.
30:58You have to fight for hamper.
31:01Why do I fight for hamper?
31:27But very dear to you,
31:28but very dear to you,
31:28because not only have you worked with her,
31:30in nearly nine movies,
31:32and then some others in smaller parts,
31:34but she's somebody who...
31:36No, seriously?
31:37Yes.
31:38No way.
31:39I don't know who you're expecting.
31:41I know who you're talking about.
31:43You know who I'm talking about.
31:44I mean, if you said,
31:44if you give it away like this,
31:45nine and thirteen movies,
31:47I'll tell you.
31:48Thirteen movies?
31:48Yeah, I think so,
31:49around thirteen movies.
31:50And she's been very kind
31:51to come to do this.
31:53She will conduct the rapid fire round.
31:55Oh, she's so much of fun.
31:56I love her.
31:57That'll be between you and me.
31:59And the energy that you're talking about,
32:01with her it's not changed at all.
32:03She's still the same.
32:05How you guessed who she was?
32:06I know who you're talking about, Karan.
32:08Okay.
32:09Still I want it to be a surprise
32:10for the people who may not have guessed.
32:12Please let's welcome her
32:14with all love in our hearts.
32:16Come on, Lolo!
32:18My God!
32:22Hello!
32:22Hello!
32:27Come, come.
32:31Guys, I'm only here
32:33because you two
32:34are my favourite people.
32:36You don't have to include one.
32:37He knows that, he knows that.
32:38You don't have to include one.
32:39You don't want to be here for Shah Rukh
32:40or for Aamir.
32:41Oh, nothing like that.
32:42No, no.
32:43Same line you used then also, no?
32:45Okay.
32:47No, no.
32:48This is...
32:48Naughty boy always.
32:50Naughty boy?
32:50Has he always been?
32:51Yes, always.
32:54Listen.
32:55How many films, Lolo?
32:56We're back.
32:57Eleven, they were just telling me.
32:58Eleven films.
32:59Eleven movies.
32:59Eleven movies.
33:01My God.
33:01So that whole chunk, Karan,
33:03was from one set to another,
33:05to another, to another,
33:06to another, to another,
33:07to another.
33:07It's just Lolo and me.
33:08Yeah.
33:09You all have done double shifts
33:10on the same day in two different movies?
33:11Meaning we have done double shifts
33:13and after that we've gone and performed
33:15on shows.
33:16Yeah.
33:16After two, two shows?
33:18Yes.
33:18Film city, somewhere else
33:20and then we went to Thane, remember?
33:23After that to do a show?
33:24Yes.
33:25Like our bag used to be packed
33:26and we would just go,
33:27spend days and days and days together,
33:29working really hard.
33:30And she said something interesting to me
33:31when I asked her.
33:32She said, you know,
33:33when people say that two people
33:34in the industry are close,
33:36there's always something.
33:37But this is, she's saying,
33:38I can proudly say this is one
33:40platonic friendship.
33:41He's lying.
33:41Yes.
33:41What?
33:42Oh my God.
33:43What is he saying?
33:45See, this is what he does.
33:47This is what he does.
33:48This is what he does.
33:50The longest living affair.
33:55You're just giving them a lot of content.
33:57And then she left me and got married.
33:58We love it.
33:59I was so hard broken.
34:01Yeah.
34:01Were you really hard broken?
34:04See, this is what he does to me.
34:05This, this, this.
34:06She also told me something fun
34:08where she said that you really pulled her leg one day
34:11and told her that convinced her that BV number one.
34:14Say it, say it.
34:15So I first, I firstly, I want to tell you how we became friends.
34:19Tell me.
34:19The lifelong bond.
34:20I mean, it's been 36 years.
34:231990.
34:24Okay.
34:24Many PR release in 89.
34:26Yeah.
34:26Craze, craze of the nation.
34:28And I was like 16.
34:30Practicing and learning at Saroj Khan's dance class in Satyam hall.
34:33That's what I said.
34:34Salman Khan was there.
34:36Rehearsing, I think for some song in Bagi.
34:38And I was dying to get a glimpse of him.
34:39The Jai Barade.
34:40Yeah, the Jai Barade.
34:43And then one day I was exiting
34:45and there Salman was sitting down
34:47in his purple pants that later became a craze,
34:50but he was wearing it way back then, you know?
34:52White ganji.
34:53And I froze and he's like,
34:55hey, you're Dabu uncle's daughter, na?
34:58Yeah.
34:58And I was like, oh my God, this is Salman Khan asking me.
35:01And that time, Salim uncle and Papa are very good friends.
35:04Yeah, yeah, they should drink together.
35:05He was like, I've been watching you.
35:06You've been doing a good job, working very hard.
35:09And he gave me a chocolate bar.
35:11Yeah.
35:11Ever since then, that bond has been forever.
35:13He gave you a chocolate bar?
35:14Yes.
35:15He was eating a chocolate.
35:17I don't think anybody knows that Salman has a sweet tooth like me.
35:19He loves eating chocolate.
35:21Oh my God.
35:22He gave me that.
35:23Oh my God.
35:24Remember in the middle of the night, our shootings and all.
35:26How that one, somebody else and only chocolates.
35:29Only both of us.
35:30And in Switzerland, in the bus, in the freezing cold,
35:33everybody used to be eating breakfast and whatever.
35:36And SK used to have this big packet full of chocolates.
35:40His breakfast used to be chocolates.
35:43What?
35:43We have worked in our songs and all in Switzerland.
35:47Who would imagine?
35:47He used to eat chocolate for breakfast.
35:49We used to fight a lot also.
35:51Why?
35:52So, during Dula Naam, the iconic outfit.
35:56Yeah, yeah.
35:56Very excited with my fashion and you know, this and that and all.
36:00To kill it.
36:01He's like, what are you wearing?
36:03I'm like, what?
36:05I mean, I've worked so hard on this outfit.
36:07What do you mean?
36:08No.
36:09I'll not give this shot with you looking like this.
36:11And I had to go and complain to David Ji that SK is not letting me wear this outfit.
36:16Please tell him.
36:17Why?
36:17Because it was overtly sexy.
36:18Yeah.
36:19I mean, he thought it was too open and too clingy.
36:21No, no, no.
36:22It was clingy, you know, that's okay.
36:23So, what had happened.
36:25Yeah.
36:25He was not liking that.
36:26No, no.
36:26Here, no.
36:27So, this is from here.
36:28This is from here.
36:29This is from here.
36:30Not rubbish.
36:31Yeah, yeah.
36:31So, I used to keep on asking you to get it down before every take.
36:36This was all sheer type of transparent.
36:38Yeah, it was sheer.
36:38So, it was from here.
36:39But from here, it was from here.
36:41Stop.
36:42Don't talk rubbish.
36:44So, that is why I used to keep on.
36:45I said, pull it down every shot.
36:48Then a hairdresser and…
36:49He used to be very protective.
36:50And all this to make sure that…
36:52And that whole thing was all that.
36:54Yeah.
36:54He's like, go and change this.
36:55I don't like this outfit.
36:57So, he used to fight a lot.
36:59But it was…
36:59But it was iconic.
37:00You look so hot.
37:01Yeah.
37:01And how did he pull your leg on BV No. 1?
37:03Oh, my God.
37:04So, obviously, firstly, throughout, he would tease me.
37:07I'd be like, Salman, give me one more take now.
37:10Why?
37:10You want to be No. 1?
37:12You want to be top hero?
37:13And I was like, yes, please, please.
37:15He'd be like, okay, one more.
37:17Okay, he would tease me to give you one more.
37:19Then, you know, working so hard, all of us…
37:23And finally, David Ji gave me this title role, BV No. 1.
37:26And Salman was nice enough to…
37:27You know, be part of that big film and everything.
37:30And we were shooting for Oh, Mr. Raja, that song…
37:33In Dulla Naam Le Jai In Switzerland.
37:35And that time, BV No. 1 released…
37:38With the World Cup cricket match.
37:41Yeah, yeah, yeah.
37:41So, you're busy with the song and he's like in the break.
37:44Come here.
37:45Come and sit down.
37:47I was like, yeah, what happened?
37:49Are you okay, right?
37:49I need to tell you something.
37:50Because, you know, BV No. 1's released today and…
37:54Opening he didn't.
37:56And there, from there onwards, I was crying.
38:00Like this.
38:01Like this.
38:01And he's going on and on.
38:02I understand how you feel.
38:04And he made David Ji and Rumi Jafri, who's the writer of the film,
38:07also do this acting.
38:08I was like, oh, my God, look at them.
38:11Crying and suddenly he starts laughing.
38:12Oh, my God, it's become a blockbuster.
38:14I was like, what the hell?
38:16How could you do this to me?
38:18He was pulling your leg.
38:20Oh, but Lola was amazing.
38:23Amazing.
38:24The most hardworking actor that I have ever seen is her.
38:29Yeah, that she is.
38:30That she is.
38:30And hair, makeup, in like five minutes she's out.
38:35Dress change means that she goes out, back on set.
38:38And earlier we never used to have those vans or those, you know.
38:41Yeah.
38:42Those make-up rooms and stuff.
38:44Yeah.
38:44Where we used to have the camera camera.
38:48Yeah, I know.
38:48Patas and chadars we used to change.
38:50Chadar and change.
38:50And remember in Switzerland, I remember because my assistant days were on Dilwale Dolanya.
38:56We used to all be in that bus.
38:58Yeah.
38:58Trittin.
38:59Yeah, Trittin yeah.
39:01Trittin was the main guy there.
39:02We used to go in the bus and stop.
39:04Like Yasji used to say, this location should be.
39:07Yeah, we worked at that.
39:07And we used to get off and shoot.
39:09Yeah.
39:09And like there was no such thing like,
39:11a recce or scout or anything.
39:14We used to go on the bus and ride and we used to stop, shoot and go back into that
39:18bus.
39:18And I remember the loo, I like the loo was the biggest problem because Britain used to not allow us
39:22to use that bathroom.
39:24So we're all going behind trees and it was like a crazy time.
39:28Today when I think of the entourage, it wasn't anyone else.
39:32Even I'm telling you, us.
39:34And the work was better.
39:36The songs were better.
39:37Everything was better.
39:38People were very beautiful.
39:40And those songs were just done, made on instinct and just feel.
39:45We just go and shoot.
39:46And he used to give me that one more.
39:48For me.
39:48For you.
39:49But has he given you any specific relationship and love advice that you followed?
39:55Bola, bola, bola, bola, bola.
39:57Um, yes.
39:59So have I given him, but both of us didn't listen.
40:02And what about you?
40:03Has she given you relationship advice?
40:05Yeah, she never liked anyone.
40:07What?
40:08Listen, this is rubbish.
40:10Take that back.
40:11All coffee, take that back right now.
40:13Okay, take it back, take it back.
40:14Again, again, loudly.
40:15Okay, I take it back, I take it back.
40:17Okay.
40:19Oh, who did you not like that?
40:21That's rubbish.
40:21But that point of time, that point of time, come on, yeah, Lolo.
40:24That point of time.
40:25Oh, my God, listen.
40:26He's just getting me into some rubbish rubbish.
40:28Which heroine, which heroine that point of time?
40:30You just shut up.
40:31I have given him very good advice.
40:34I have given him lots of good advice, which he has absolutely wrong with.
40:38But, but yes, but she has.
40:39She has, she has.
40:40She has, she has.
40:41So she's been there in times of duress and times of celebration both.
40:45Yes, I think both of us.
40:46So what is the thought that comes to your mind when I say Lolo to you?
40:49What is the first word that comes to your mind?
40:53Yeah.
40:53See?
40:54Yeah.
40:55Bro code.
40:55Bro code.
40:56Bro code.
40:56So there's, there's love in your heart for you'll always.
40:58Has always been there.
40:59Yeah, which is why I so wanted Lolo to come to conduct a rare rapid fire round.
41:05I'm too excited for this.
41:06Yes, that where you read out the rapid fire questions first to Salman, then to me, and
41:11then you decide the winner.
41:12Absolutely.
41:13Are you ready?
41:13Are you ready?
41:14I am ready.
41:15All right.
41:16So are you ready to come on the hot seat?
41:18Absolutely.
41:18All right.
41:19Before that, let's switch on the Jackowa lights for the rapid fire round.
41:23Nice.
41:24Nice.
41:25Wow.
41:26Amazing.
41:26The Buddhist head.
41:28The Buddhist head.
41:29Ma'am.
41:30Yes.
41:30The seat is all yours.
41:33Wow.
41:34We start with Salman.
41:36SK, are you ready?
41:37I'm ready.
41:38Oh my God.
41:39Name one actor apart from you who looks good without a shirt.
41:42Oh, there's so many of them.
41:44Okay.
41:44Name one.
41:45Shah Rukh right now is looking damn good without a shirt.
41:47Amir looked very good.
41:48Okay, this is a very diplomat, sir.
41:50No, no, no.
41:50I'm telling everyone.
41:52Hrithik looks good.
41:53Tiger looks good.
41:54Ranbeed looks good.
41:55Ranbeed looks good.
41:56Ajay looks damn good.
41:58Sanjay looks good.
41:58So, Anil Kapoor is looking good on you.
42:01There are three or four names left.
42:03Some names you left.
42:04No, but they're all looking good.
42:05I mean, they're all.
42:06They're looking good.
42:07Okay.
42:08Film to film, I mean, they're looking, yeah.
42:10Cool.
42:10Prime.
42:11Okay.
42:11Which film in your filmography are you proudest of?
42:14My first one.
42:16Manipyar Kiya.
42:17Which was the most impactful performance?
42:20Ranbir in Dhurandar or Ranbir in Animal?
42:23Two different kind of performances.
42:25You cannot compare any of them.
42:27Again, diplomatic answer.
42:28It's not diplomatic at all.
42:29Please choose one.
42:30They're fantastic actors.
42:32One has got tremendous amount of energy.
42:34One has got tremendous amount of intensity.
42:36Both have different styles of acting.
42:38So, you cannot, cannot, and especially for Ranbir in Dhurandar, had to control all his energy,
42:46all his, I mean, what he does, he does everything larger than life, and he had to control that big
42:54time.
42:55So, for an actor, that's a huge amount of insecurity that he didn't have in the film,
43:00and he was very secure as an actor and in that role for Dhurandar.
43:04Correct.
43:05Well said.
43:06What's your biggest personal regret?
43:08I have none.
43:10One, perhaps now, that I wish I had this kind of experience at that given point of time.
43:15Good answer.
43:17One word that comes to your mind for each.
43:27Shah Rukh Khan.
43:27Yeah, so many words.
43:28Brother.
43:29Brother.
43:30Aamir Khan.
43:31He's a brother.
43:32He's a brother.
43:33Second brother.
43:35Akshay Kumar.
43:36No, Akshay, I'll need to slightly, Akshay, you've worked with Akshay a lot.
43:42I've worked with Akshay a lot.
43:52He is the only one actor has grown.
43:57Grown means by leaps and bounds.
44:00And I see his work that he's doing right now.
44:02And I say, man, how are you doing this?
44:08He's something else right now.
44:09And the way he's looking.
44:11Akshay Devgan.
44:12Again, he's like a brother.
44:13He's a friend.
44:14And I don't think that anyone can beat Akshay in intense roles.
44:18And he manages comedy very well in that same format of not leaving.
44:25Vischa Manor, Golmar.
44:26Yeah, yeah.
44:27I mean, you can see any of Akshay Devgan's films and you will not say, yore, ye kya kia hai.
44:32You know, like with us, you can say, yore, kura ha hi ye kwa zyadha loud chale gaya hai.
44:36Ye bafoon ji ho gai.
44:38Ye kya bih ki fikar di.
44:40You know, incompetent work hai ye.
44:42Akshay, you will not see that.
44:44True.
44:44Pick the film title that sums up your current love life.
44:49Why did I love you?
44:51Lucky, no time for love.
44:54Don't forget it.
44:57If you don't forget it, it's out or not?
45:00Because everyone forgets it.
45:02Let's go back to the top.
45:04Why did I love you?
45:06Why do I love you?
45:07Why do I love you?
45:08It's true.
45:11Lucky, no time for love.
45:14No, this doesn't go because there has been enough time for love.
45:17There has been love and there will be time.
45:20Yes, there will be time.
45:21Sanam Bevafa.
45:22Now don't have to talk about them about it.
45:24Let's go ahead.
45:26Don't forget it.
45:27Don't forget it.
45:28Don't forget it.
45:28There's nothing in them.
45:30Okay.
45:32I'll just say that I'll go by with my first title.
45:36I have talked for myself.
45:38I love you.
45:39Aha.
45:41Okay.
45:41Which co-star did you have the best on-screen chemistry with over the years?
45:47Ah.
45:48There have been so many, Lolo.
45:50But nobody like you.
45:52Ah.
45:53Not because you're here.
45:55No, I know that.
45:56Not because you're here.
45:59If you were not here.
46:01I think.
46:02If you're not here, I would have said the same thing.
46:04Because the journey, the time that I spent with you has been phenomenal.
46:08There's also Madhuri where people have liked our chemistry.
46:11There's also three.
46:12I've done two films.
46:13There's lots of heroines that I've worked with.
46:15There's Katrina.
46:16There's Raveena.
46:16There's Raveena.
46:18There's a lot.
46:19But the time that I spent with you, over 13 films.
46:22That 13 films means almost 13, 14, 15 years.
46:27Yeah.
46:27More than half.
46:28Many years.
46:30If you could tap your card and have a once in a lifetime adventure, what would you do?
46:36I'd go to Panvel.
46:38We knew that would be the answer.
46:40Which Bollywood celebrity would you recommend for the Big Boss house and why?
46:43Sanjay Dutt.
46:44Because life experiences.
46:46Yeah.
46:47And if Sanjay Dutt is interested.
46:49Is interested.
46:50Okay.
46:51And I mean, we all know that Sanju is very okay.
46:54Baba is very okay with sharing his life story like I am.
46:58Everything is open book.
46:59So if he does that.
47:00Okay.
47:01I don't think there is any host better than Sanjay Dutt for Big Boss.
47:04Yeah.
47:06What's the one thing that scares you in life?
47:09Ask somebody pointing your finger at me.
47:11Okay.
47:12Okay.
47:12Correct.
47:13Who is the most...
47:14But see ask why.
47:16Ask also why.
47:17Why are you giving more answers?
47:19You answered very well.
47:21No, but I mean it's just that you promised and you didn't fulfill your promises.
47:26So that is something that scares me.
47:28So till the time I am not 100% sure of that this is for good.
47:35I will not commit to it.
47:37Okay.
47:37Finish this.
47:38If I weren't an actor, I'd be...
47:41Who gives a damn?
47:44Name a celebrity you would give the following advice to.
47:47Neki kar darya mein dal.
47:49To me.
47:50Okay.
47:51Take a chill pill.
47:52To all those actors, you know, who take this job very seriously.
47:57Guch toh alag kar.
47:59This advice would be for...
48:00I mean, kuch toh alag kar would be for all the people who are concentrating on social media
48:04and the PR and not on their craft.
48:07It would be for them.
48:08Also to them that nothing is hidden in the industry.
48:11It all comes out and everyone knows, will know it or already knows who's doing it.
48:15Yeah, yeah, yeah.
48:17If a biopic were made on your life, which of your directors would you pick to help it?
48:24Suraj Barjartya, Kabir Khan, Sanjay Leela Bansali, David Dhawan.
48:29Depending, if you want to make a comedy in my life, then David Dhawan.
48:33If you want to make a traditional, tragic love story, it would be Sanjay Leela Bansali.
48:39If you want to make this beautiful love story after love story, after love story, would be a Suraj Barjartya.
48:48And what else is that?
48:49Kabir Khan.
48:50Kabir Khan, if you want to make an action kind of love story, I mean, of all the things that
48:55have happened in my life,
48:56except for them would be Kabir Khan.
49:02And depending on which love story that they want to make, so we'll have to get into that as well.
49:08But a biopic in my life will never be made.
49:13My life will go to my grave.
49:17Whenever you decide to do your last film, which actress would you pick as your co-star?
49:22Karizma, Madhuri, Kareena or Katrina?
49:25Last film not happening yet, bro.
49:28Long time for that.
49:30Yeah.
49:30Not yet.
49:31Not yet.
49:32If your nephews Nirwan, Arhan or Ayaan came to you for relationship advice?
49:38Wrong person to come to.
49:39Okay, I won't finish the rest of the sentence.
49:42I won't even say go to your father's.
49:45One thing you miss about set life in the 90s?
49:48See, my sets are still the same.
49:52Nothing has changed on my sets.
49:56I mean, we still work the same way.
49:58We still all get together even after pack up, you know, food on the set.
50:03And Adam Arhan's a short, nice, happy atmosphere.
50:07My set, nothing has changed.
50:10You guys worry about your sets.
50:12Okay.
50:13If Salman Khan came with a disclaimer, what would it say?
50:17What?
50:18What?
50:19Disclaimer?
50:19If Salman Khan came with a disclaimer, what would it say?
50:24Oh, shit.
50:26I never thought that.
50:27Yeah, disclaimer.
50:29There's no claiming here.
50:30What?
50:31There's no claiming here.
50:33There's no claiming here.
50:34It's his disclaimer.
50:35You were asked this in season four.
50:37Has there been an update?
50:39What's the best and worst thing about being Salman?
50:43The best thing about being Salman is Salman.
50:49And goes down to the worst thing about being Salman is also Salman.
51:01So, for me, this one Salman has to keep on telling the other Salman,
51:08No, brother.
51:10No.
51:11No.
51:11It's time for him.
51:12It's time for him.
51:14Control, brother.
51:16Control.
51:16Okay.
51:17Well done, SK.
51:19Well done.
51:21Woo.
51:21Kejo, are you ready?
51:23I'm ready.
51:24Lolo is going to be asking some interesting questions.
51:26I love it.
51:27Rank the following in order of their best performances on Coffee with Karan.
51:31Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Amir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan.
51:38Salman Khan.
51:39Whoa.
51:40Okay.
51:40Salman, because he's here, is not on the list.
51:42Salman Khan.
51:43So, I'm not going to give you an order.
51:44I'm going to say every time Shah Rukh has come, he's been amazing.
51:47Okay.
51:47So, I'm not giving you an order only.
51:49Shah Rukh Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
51:51Okay.
51:51Name one guest who sat on your couch and played too safe.
51:56Everyone last season.
51:58Okay.
51:59One guest that came that you wish had played it safe.
52:03Hardik Pandya.
52:06Your all time favourite episode of Coffee with Karan.
52:10My all time favourite episode actually is Anushka and Katrina.
52:14Really?
52:14I love that episode.
52:15Now the truth Kejo, what's actually in your coffee cup?
52:20A diet cola.
52:21I don't drink black coffee.
52:22What would you do if you woke up in the morning as the following?
52:26Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Aditya Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan.
52:30If I woke up as Shah Rukh, I would call Karan and say, can you direct a film with Salman
52:36and me?
52:38If I woke up as Ranveer, I'd go back to a colourful wardrobe.
52:42If I woke up as Aditya Chopra, I'd give a press conference so that everybody knows he exists.
52:48If I woke up as Kareena, I would look into the mirror and say, who is he?
52:59If you woke up as Kareena, you go back to bed with Saf.
53:04That would be...
53:06Kareena, I'm saying.
53:07But me?
53:08Yeah, but...
53:11Okay.
53:12Which of your friends is most likely to escape to a bathroom to avoid an awkward situation or conversation?
53:19My favourite, Varun Dhawan.
53:21Me also?
53:22No, you...
53:23Lesser.
53:24Varun would run.
53:25Oh.
53:25To avoid an awkward conversation.
53:27Okay.
53:27The one film from your filmography that you feel you want to remake?
53:32Kabhi Alvidana Kayana.
53:33Okay.
53:34And I got a lecture from Salman about Kabhi Alvidana Kayana
53:38in the lobby of a hotel in London.
53:40He fired me about making that film.
53:42I just thought you should change...
53:43Don't make that film.
53:45Yeah, okay.
53:46What turns Karan Johar on?
53:49When he helps himself.
53:51Alia or Kareena?
53:53The better actor?
53:54Alia and I would both agree it's Kareena.
53:57Ranveer or Ranbir?
53:59The more versatile actor?
54:02You don't choose between brilliance.
54:05Okay.
54:05Coffee with Karan without the Khans is?
54:10Dal without tadka.
54:12What was one Coffee with Karan moment that you felt received the most unwarranted trolling?
54:18The Ranveer Dipika episode.
54:20After the final season of Coffee with Karan airs, who would you hide from and who would you seek out?
54:28Who would I hide from?
54:29I'll hide from Gio Hotstar because I'm ending the show.
54:33Who would I seek out?
54:34Nobody.
54:35I'm happy on my own now.
54:36I'm happy I've ended the show.
54:37This phase had to end.
54:39The one person who never came on the couch that you would have loved to have had.
54:43My biggest, deepest desire was to interview Shri Devi Ma'am.
54:48And I'm so sad that I wasn't able to direct her, produce a film with her or conduct a talk
54:55show with her.
54:55I'm her biggest fan for life.
54:57Me too.
54:58Three things you can say in the bedroom and on coffee with Karan.
55:03Turn the lights off.
55:05Rapid fire.
55:07And, hey Karan, it's me.
55:12One director you believe is way stronger than you in your craft and execution.
55:18Sanjay Nila Mansali.
55:19An Instagram account you're obsessed with.
55:22Ravi Kishan's anything on the gram.
55:25I think he's the king of virality.
55:29Which words are you guilty of saying the most on the couch?
55:34Conjecture, nepotism, Aliyabhat.
55:36The conjecture that I use the nepotism card on Aliyabhat.
55:43The last time you said your naughty playlist includes classical music.
55:48Has there been an update?
55:50Haryanvi music.
55:50I'm into it now.
55:53Try Bhojpuri as well.
55:54Bhojpuri.
55:56Okay, guys.
55:57It's done.
55:58Okay.
55:59Well done, Kejo.
56:01The hamper should go to her.
56:02No.
56:02Now, I think you both did really well.
56:06Honestly.
56:07But, we have one winner.
56:10The winner is Karanjo.
56:11The winner is?
56:13Sk.
56:15Just because I'm here as a guest on coffee.
56:19He gave some explanation.
56:20No, no.
56:20I'm telling you.
56:20Even though it was a rapid fire.
56:22I'm telling you.
56:22Just because I'm here.
56:24Okay.
56:24Let's get one thing straight.
56:26One thing is straight.
56:27Straight being the operator word.
56:29When Salman Khan participates, he wins.
56:32There's no way I have the chops, the ability, the charm or the natural flair to win anything next to
56:39you.
56:40So, I'm absolutely in agreement.
56:42Correct.
56:42Let me lift it for you.
56:43And give Salman the hamper.
56:45Yes.
56:46Thank you, Lolo.
56:47I don't know how I can't do anything.
56:49No.
56:49You don't have to do anything.
56:50My God, I'm so happy.
56:51Yay.
56:53No, but let me put it down for you.
56:55You've lifted enough weights to create this sensation of a body.
57:00Lolo, thank you.
57:01Please take a seat.
57:03Okay.
57:04This for me, I have to say, is an emotional moment.
57:07And I'm going to take a quick beat to say why.
57:10For me, I have known Lolo from like the time immemorial.
57:16Like literally.
57:16And for me to share.
57:17From school days.
57:18The first episode of the last season of Coffee with Karan with you is very special.
57:24So, thank you for doing this.
57:26Conducting the Coffee with Karan rapid fire round.
57:28It means the world to me.
57:30Salman, I cannot thank you enough.
57:32I called you and I said, I'm signing off.
57:35I'm never doing this again.
57:36And all you did was laugh on the phone.
57:39I still don't know why you laughed.
57:40Where your laugh was like,
57:42Ye vaapasayega ya laaf ke
57:44Ye vaapasayega.
57:45Ye vaapasayega.
57:46Ye vaapasayega.
57:47May vaapas nahi ahonga.
57:49Mera ho gaya, but I couldn't think of a better.
57:52Karan, tusi naa jao.
57:54Gaarao me.
57:55Gaarao me.
57:56You have any thoughts of me ending this show forever?
57:59No, I think you should continue this show.
58:00No, I'm not.
58:01Just make it larger and bigger and better.
58:03That's it.
58:03No, no, I don't.
58:05You are too kind and gracious.
58:07You did my first film.
58:08You've done my last season.
58:11I'm weirdly, like, emotional about ending this show.
58:14Even me?
58:14I don't know why.
58:15I'm just like...
58:16It's like, it feels so weird and wonderful all at the same time that I'm ending the show
58:21and I'm beginning with Salman and have you as such a large part of this episode.
58:26Means the world to me, Lolo.
58:27You know what you mean to me.
58:29And Salman, thank you.
58:30I love you.
58:31I don't say it because I'm awkward and shy and I'm scared of you a little bit.
58:35A lot, actually.
58:36But I want to tell you how grateful I am to you and for being who you are.
58:41It's now time for the Born Will Unwind moment.
58:44Let's savor this moment and sign your coffee mugs.
58:47Lolo, please sign the cup right next to you.
58:49Yes, of course.
58:49And we will walk to the coffee wall of fame.
58:58God bless you and good night.
58:59And let's go to the coffee wall of fame.
59:32This week, because I have Salman Khan on the couch, I have a special pick from the Peacock Hub.
59:39Fast 10 from the Fast and Furious franchise.
59:42Big action, big scale, larger than life entertainment and the family bond.
59:46Absolutely no apologies for any of it.
59:49Salman, this one had to be for you.
59:52Which co-star did you have the best on-screen chemistry with over the years?
59:58There have been so many, Lolo.
00:01But nobody like you.
00:03Not because you're here.
00:05No, no, I know that.
00:07I was hoping you would say that.
00:09Coffee with Karan, Season 9, in association with the Peacock Hub on Jio Hotstar.

00:44Show me what I'm missing.
00:46Take me higher today.
