00:00All right. If you are a college football fan, I mean, this is wild. So we hear that we're going
00:05to 24, right? We hear that we have a 24-game team playoff on the horizon. And what happens? Number
00:11one, number two, number three, number four, number seven, all lose over the weekend.
00:16No team in the top five won, and no team in the entire AP poll kept its position from one
00:26week to the next. The anti-expansion people are saying, why in the world are we expanding to 24? Because
00:34they are parroting Nick Saban by saying, you know what? We don't have 24 teams that are good enough to
00:40win the national championship.
00:41People who want 24 say, look it, the upsets are everywhere. Florida beat Texas in Austin. Florida wouldn't be in
00:50the playoffs. If you had a 12-team playoff, Florida wouldn't be there.
00:54So let's get the top detergents. Let's get college basketball type upsets. Let's go and expand this because ESPN has
01:01the exclusivity on it.
01:03The reason why we're expanding is strictly television. ESPN is capable of blocking out TBS, TNT, and Fox. And they
01:12own an NFL type playoff. Because if you watch the NFL playoffs, we're going everywhere, right?
01:18We're going to Prime. We're going to Netflix. We're going to CBS and ESPN and Fox. Like there's all these
01:25different players involved in the NFL. Right now, ESPN is the cat that swallowed the canary.
01:31They are just hoping that we're not listening to the bird singing because it's a huge problem. Everyone knows it's
01:39a huge problem. But ESPN is about money and growth and shareholders and ABC and Mickey Mouse and everything else.
01:44So they want to own this. So they're expanding because they get 12 more games and they get to own
01:51those 12 games. And if they don't have the ability to broadcast those games, they can sell them off to
01:57TNT, CBS, whomever. It's a massive mistake.
02:00Okay. Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt not calling a college football playoff game is a massive mistake. Okay. We should
02:09have the top Brad Nessler. We should have the top broadcasters calling college football.
02:14And I'm sorry, but the fourth and fifth team in college football for ESPN is not what I want to
02:20listen to. Okay. That's a mistake.
02:21I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
