01:50He has powers similar to Shazam, but serves as a dark mirror to Billy Batson.
01:53Black Adam is an intimidating figure who doesn't just have clear physical strength, but also a ton of political influence.
01:58This is because he's often depicted as the ruler of the fictional country of Khandak.
02:02Not many other bad guys can flex that they run a country.

02:49That's because she's the daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus, making her a demigod.
02:52Diana has proven herself to be a serious threat.
02:54Heck, in Flashpoint Paradox, she basically crumbled civilization in her war against Aquaman.
03:04When it's all said and done, Wonder Woman's essentially a goddess, and that means you want her fighting for you

03:41The Spectre is an insanely OP individual with the ability to inflict great punishment on those deserving of it.

03:50If you've ever checked out his DC showcase segment, you know just how ruthless he can be towards the wicked.
03:55You can technically label the Spectre as a superhero if you want, but he's really so much more than that.
04:00He's a cosmic force of nature whose strength is in a league of its own.
04:04Justice. What is justice without vengeance?
04:07This is a mind-melting spirit of vengeance, and if you're ever alone in a dark alley and you spot
04:12the Spectre, you seriously messed up big time.
04:14Number 5. Doctor Fate.

04:22The magical side of DC is home to some incredibly powerful heroes, including Doctor Fate.
04:25There's been loads of different people to take on the mantle, but the Helmet of Fate is the one thing
04:29that matters the most.
04:30In terms of what makes Doctor Fate so strong, that's the main thing.

04:35Fate decrees their sacrifice will not be in vain.
04:39The Helmet allows its wearer to teleport, fly, phase through solid matter, you name it.
04:43The Helmet can pretty much do it.
04:44Doctor Fate's also an expert on the occult and can cast spells like nobody's business.
04:48Fate has strength through his magical prowess, but he also has insane aura.

04:59Whether he's battling demons, sorcerers, or just petty crooks, Doctor Fate is always coming out on top.

05:24We kind of danced around the Man of Steel here and there, but when it's all said and done, he
05:28really is up there as one of DC's all-time strongest superheroes.
05:31Plainly put, when you think about strength, you think about Superman.
05:33The world needs people in charge, who are willing to put the animals down.
05:40He's got the basic slew of powers like super strength, flight, and super speed, but he's also the one who
05:45essentially made superpowers mainstream.
05:47Another thing that's so awesome about Superman is that his strength isn't solely defined by his ability to bench press
05:52buildings.
05:53Sure, he's physically very strong, but he's also strong through his ability to be kind.
05:56He treats everyone with compassion, and this huge level of empathy is yet another reason why he's considered one of
06:01the strongest heroes DC has.
06:02Don't ever come here again, or you won't be going back.
06:12Number 3, Trigon.
06:13Demons are scary, and Trigon is no exception.
06:16He's one of DC's biggest cases of pure nightmare fuel, and all you need to do is take one look
06:20at him to find out why.
06:27Trigon's a deeply disturbing force of wrath, and in every one of his animated adventures, he's a beast.
06:32He mind-controlled the Justice League and put the Teen Titans, including his own daughter, Raven, through hell.
06:44This devilish creature also crossed paths with Darkseid during Justice League Dark Apocalypse War.
06:49He picked a fight with the new god and held his own.
06:51Not many can stand toe-to-toe with Darkseid, and if that doesn't make it clear that Trigon is crazy
06:55strong, we don't know what does.
07:07There's characters who are strong, but there's also characters who are strong and resilient, and that's Doomsday in a nutshell.
07:12Doomsday is best known by fans for being the scary, spiky creature who killed Superman.

07:18He's pure, unadulterated, violent rage, and the Justice League never saw him coming.

08:25Darkseid is often treated as the final boss of DC and for good reason.
08:28We mentioned the animated movie, Justice League Dark Apocalypse, and that's one giant case study into why Darkseid should be
08:33feared.
08:33And also, teleport a portion of Earth's magma here. I'd like to make a point.
08:40He enslaved the entire world, and during the whole film's runtime, you got the sense that he was just unstoppable.
08:45Plainly put, no one decimates superheroes like this guy.
