00:00Parable of the lost sheep
00:03God's love for us, biblical text
00:07Luke 15:1-7 and Matthew 18:12
00:11On the 14th, a shepherd had 100 sheep and cared for them with great affection.
00:18Every day he took them to pasture and protected them from any danger.
00:24But one day, one of the sheep strayed from the flock.
00:29And it got lost.
00:30Instead of keeping the 99 that were safe
00:34The pastor left everything behind.
00:38And he went out to look for the lost sheep.
00:43He walked through mountains and valleys.
00:45He faced difficulties, but he didn't give up.
00:49When he finally found her, he was very happy.
00:54With all his love, he picked up the sheep in his arms.
00:57And he took her back home.
00:59Jesus told this story to show how much God loves us.
01:05Just as the shepherd was concerned about the lost sheep.
01:09God never abandons us.
01:13If we drift apart
01:15He will always be ready to meet us.
01:18And bring us back with joy and love.
01:23Because each one of us is very special to him.
01:27Reflection on the parable of the lost sheep.
01:32Have you ever lost something important and been overjoyed to find it?
01:39How would you feel if you were the lost sheep and the shepherd came to find you?
01:46At some point, we can all feel fear, just like the lost sheep.
01:53Imagine being far from home and not knowing where to go.
01:57When we find security in someone who loves us.
02:01We felt joy
02:03But, despite the sadness and longing
02:06She did not let bitterness take over her heart.
02:12On the contrary, she continued to be kind.
02:17Helpful and observant
02:20The pastor represents God.
02:23He who seeks us even when we are far away.
02:27This reminds us that we are never alone.
02:31And we are always loved.
02:34Regardless of what happens
02:38This story teaches us that God loves us.
02:42And never give up on us.
02:44We can learn
02:46Act like the shepherd
02:49Caring for and valuing the people around us.
02:55If we see a friend who is sad or lonely
02:58We can show that he is important.
03:02Whenever we feel we are lost
03:06Let us remember that God is looking for us.
03:10And it brings us back with love.
