Elon Musk has unveiled a redesigned Tesla Roadster featuring SpaceX-inspired compressed-air thrusters. During a demonstration in Texas on October 15, 2026, the vehicle performed aerial flips and briefly jumped over other cars.
However, this is not a conventional flying car capable of sustained flight. Tesla says production is planned for 2028, while the demonstrated Rocket version is invitation-only and is not approved for public-road use.
