00:00And very quickly, the software team said, you know, we can move the controls over to the right side and
00:05recover all of that kind of vertical space that you want.
00:08And then it turns out to be an incredibly intuitive control system because it's there under your right thumb when
00:13it's closed.
00:14You open it up, it's there under your right thumb again.
00:16I think one of the things that's most ambitious, and I think a little bit of a risk, is just
00:20like reimagining iOS for a foldable phone.
00:23Like so putting all the controls on the right hand side, for example.
00:27So what was the decision making behind that?
00:29And like, how is the software experience different on a foldable phone versus a regular slab phone?
00:34Well, I think that's what I was saying before about the joy of having something completely new.
00:39And when we started, as Josh said, we started with this, you're going to build, you know, a foldable phone.
00:43You want that unfolded state to be the best thing it can possibly be.
00:46So I think that's one of the biggest things with iOS is you're going to have two screens.
00:51How do you make sure that it feels continuous?
00:53And, you know, the idea of building the aspect ratio is everything scales proportionately.
00:59And then that allows the software team to really build things that map really well from the outer screen to
01:05the inner screen.
