00:00He frowned, grabbed a jacket, and put it on.
00:02Why are you back?
00:03Gianna's eyes widened.
00:05Seriously, Callan? Shirtless at the door? Nice manners.
00:08I told you my friend was coming over today.
00:10Callan's gaze locked on my face.
00:12Your friend?
00:13I gave him a nervous smile.
00:15Hi, Mr. Vittario.
00:16This is Sadie.
00:17Gianna grabbed my arm, my best friend.
00:19Callan's eyes narrowed.
00:20He was trying to figure out what was going on.
00:22I silently mouthed to him,
00:24Don't say anything.
00:26Luckily, he seemed to understand.
00:28Then he raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk on his lips.
00:31He held out his hand to me.
00:32I awkwardly took it.
00:33His thumb slowly brushed across my palm.
00:36Nice to meet you, Sadie.
00:37Sorry, I wasn't expecting company.
00:39Gianna rolled her eyes and walked into the house.
00:42Come on, Sadie. I've got a room ready for you.
00:44Callan turned to leave, but as he passed me,
00:46he leaned slightly closer, only enough for me to hear.
00:49Too bad, pretty stranger.
00:51I even used your favorite shampoo.
00:52Now I smell just the way you like.
00:54My face burned.
00:56That bastard.
