You Slapped My Mom, I Bankrupted Your Whole Family follows Grace Weaver as she breaks free from a marriage and family that repeatedly humiliated her. A talented fashion designer, Grace gave her husband Richie’s family company, WF, free licenses to her personal design patents, helping transform the struggling business into a fashion powerhouse.
But for five years, Grace and her mother Linda are subjected to constant humiliation from the Weaver family. Richie refuses to defend Grace and tells her to simply put up with it. When Linda is publicly humiliated at a fashion show, Grace finally draws the line.
She revokes all 27 patent licenses and files for divorce. WF quickly falls apart without Grace’s designs. Rather than remain trapped in the past, Grace leaves the Weaver family and begins a new chapter with her mother and friends, building a new career and life.
