00:28I'll be right back
00:38When Horatio Rat returned home from sea,
00:41all he wanted in life was to have friends to tea.
00:46He laid out each place with a napkin and cup.
00:49It looked extra special.
00:52But no one turned up.
00:54The mice said they'd rather take tea with a cat.
00:57At least cats are clean, unlike a rat.
01:02So Horatio thought,
01:04I'll try a disguise and put on dark glasses to cover my eyes.
01:10He wore a big coat and tucked in his tail.
01:13He looked in the mirror and said,
01:15I can't fail.
01:17He was sure of success and prepared ten more tables
01:21and set out the places with tiny name labels.
01:24To complete his disguise, he put on a big hat.
01:28Now, no one could say that he looked like a rat.
01:32But when they all saw him, the mice screamed in fear.
01:36It's a big scary monster!
01:37Don't let him come near!
01:40Poor Horatio slumped on a bench in the park.
01:44Storm clouds blew over and turned the sky dark.
01:48The first raindrops fell to the ground and went splat.
01:53Horatio sighed as the rain soaked his hat.
01:58In a nest far above him were four baby crows
02:02whose mother was fussing and warming their toes.
02:05She had to make sure that they stayed safe and dry,
02:08for none of her babies had yet learned to fly.
02:12The smallest young bird, whose name was Our Joe,
02:16stuck his beak out in wonder and peered down below.
02:20He'd seen his mom flying, and he wanted to try.
02:23So he pulled himself clear and waved his wings at the sky.
02:27A gust of wind caught him and lifted him high.
02:30Our Joe is delighted.
02:32I can fly! I can fly!
02:34His mother was worried.
02:36But what could she do?
02:37Her other three babies all needed her too.
02:41Then the wind took Our Joe.
02:44He spun this way and that,
02:46landing at last on Horatio's hat.
02:50Horatio looked up and to his surprise
02:52saw the frightened young bird gazing into his eyes.
02:57Soon the storm was aflood,
02:59and the bench was a boat.
03:01But Rat kept Joe safe inside his big coat.
03:05Although he was freezing,
03:07Horatio held tight and battled the storm throughout the long night.
03:14At dawn, Mother Crow went to look for Our Joe.
03:18She was worried and anxious,
03:20and searched high and low.
03:22She called out his name,
03:24but got no reply,
03:26till she heard someone shouting to her in the sky.
03:31A nasty old rat?
03:34Mother Crow turned to go,
03:36but Rat pulled his coat back,
03:38and out popped Our Joe.
03:42She couldn't believe it.
03:44Are Joe safe and sound?
03:46Then she noticed Horatio was looking half drowned.
03:51Though his whiskers were drooping,
03:52and his fur was wet through,
03:54she flung herself on him
03:57with a great big thank you.
04:01Mother Crow was so happy,
04:03she sang out the tale
04:04of how Rat saved Our Joe
04:06on the night of the gale.
04:08Now everyone wanted to come and have tea.
04:12Horatio was a hero,
04:14twice over, times three.
04:16He passed round the cakes.
04:18They all wanted more.
04:19Horatio felt happier than ever before.
04:22But he never forgot to address a small label
04:27for Our Joe's special seat
04:30on his hat on the table.
04:52She placed her on the back of our свои sleet,
04:56and She became shook by
