00:02Eight orangutans rescued from wildfires are back in the wild and they didn't waste any time getting there.
00:08Watch as they come right out of their transport cages and head straight for the trees.
00:12The group includes two young males and three mothers with their babies.
00:16All eight were rescued after wildfires threatened their habitat on the Indonesian island of Borneo.
00:22Indonesia is battling its worst wildfires in 11 years, with El Nino conditions making things even worse.
00:29And for these animals, every rescue matters.
00:33Orangutans are critically endangered, largely because of habitat loss.
00:37Fewer than 130,000 remain in the wild, according to the World Wildlife Fund.
00:42The rescue group says the relocation gives these eight orangutans, quote,
00:46a chance to return to living naturally.
