November 24, 1971. A polite man in a dark suit hijacks Northwest Flight 305, collects $200,000 in cash and four parachutes, then jumps from the plane into the night over the Pacific Northwest — and is never seen again.
This is the story of D.B. Cooper: the hijacking, the impossible jump from a Boeing 727, the FBI's massive NORJAK investigation, the $5,800 found rotting at Tina Bar, the prime suspects, and every major theory. In 2016, the FBI closed the case. The mystery remains open.
