00:00I have not heard this Micah Parsons audio yet.
00:02I have read snippets of what he said.
00:06I have a pretty good gist of it all.
00:09Micah Parsons obviously played in Dallas with Dan Quinn
00:13when Dan Quinn was in Dallas as the defensive coordinator.
00:17Micah Parsons, for much of the last year,
00:20has been far more of a podcaster than he has been a football player.
00:24But Parsons is also a great player.
00:26His years in Dallas, he was Defensive Rookie of the Year.
00:30I think he was a pro bowler every season.
00:33Last year in 13 games maybe in Green Bay,
00:36he had 12.5 sacks before his season was undone by a knee injury.
00:42Parsons week two against the Commanders completely dominated that game.
00:46He's a heck of a player when he's on the field.
00:48It seems unclear when he's going to be back on the field.
00:51But, you know, his injury came late last season,
00:54so he's not even a full year recovered.
00:57People come back before a year.
01:00But he definitely has a podcast.
01:01And he's fairly outspoken, I would say, on lots of topics.
01:06I think his podcast might be in correspondence with, like, Bleacher Report or something.
01:10Maybe he owns it himself.
01:11I'm not really sure.
01:13Regardless, let's hear from Micah Parsons on the Commander's tie.
01:20Jayden Daniels probably cost my man Dan Quintin' his job, to be honest with you.
01:24That's tough.
01:25To be honest with you.
01:27And, like, I'm a big Jayden Daniels fan.
01:29But the reality is, like, he probably cost a lot of people their jobs this past weekend.
01:34So you put none of that on the coaches here?
01:36Hey, bro.
01:38And all respectfully, we get coached so much on these situations that, like, I'm a defensive player.
01:47And this is programmed in me.
01:49I know what to do in those situations.
01:51100%.
01:51There's no way I'm taking a sack with 14 seconds of no timeouts.
01:55Like, and then, like, this is just, and mind you, it would be different if Jayden Daniels was a rookie.
02:01This is your third year.
02:04This is your third year.
02:05You've been to the NFC Championship game.
02:06You've been in big moments before.
02:09And to me, like, even after a sack, you're casually getting up.
02:13That was the thing that frustrated me the most.
02:15I'm like, you just took a sack with 14.
02:17Like, look at the play.
02:19Like, I'm not mad what you did.
02:21Cool.
02:21Do it.
02:22But look, like, he's not even urgently getting up.
02:27There's a lot to unpack there, I think.
02:31In no fashion can I agree with it's not on the coaching staff.
02:38Jayden does carry some of the blame.
02:40But to say this is completely on Jayden and he cost Dan Quinn the job is insane.
02:46Dan Quinn cost Dan Quinn the job.
02:48Listen, man.
02:50I'm going to keep saying what I said before.
02:52And then after the day, I'm done with this.
02:55From 55 seconds to 13 seconds before a play was counted.
03:01We've now heard that the play was snapped.
03:07We now heard that it was a personnel thing that we had to get fixed.
03:11I asked one question.
03:13Was it that damn important to run that play or you should have just clocked it at that moment?
03:18I mean, and with that situation, everybody's involved.
03:25But you can't dismiss all and blame one person.
03:30And Micah, he say, I'm a fan of Jayden.
03:33Yeah, but you played for Dan.
03:37And I like all three of the people involved.
03:41I like all the players on the team.
03:44But what I saw from 55 till the end of the game was a lack of urgency by everybody.
03:54I saw a guy sitting there waiting for a play to be called.
03:57And if I'm in charge at that moment, I'm like, just clock it.
04:01We're going to kick it from here.
04:03800-636-1067.
04:05800-636-1067.
04:08Micah Parsons has entered the chat.
04:10On his podcast, he says, I can't believe Jayden Daniels is going to cost my man, Dan Quinn, his job.
04:16Dan Quinn, to his credit, has come out repeatedly and said, this is my fault.
04:20It's not Jayden's fault.
04:21It's not Blau's fault.
04:22I do think as we learn a little more, there is more blame to go towards David Blau.
04:29I think you could almost have a real question about the communications, like the actual headset.
04:37Like, when did it cut off?
04:38When were you calling the play?
04:39Like, how clear was everything?
04:41And B, you bring up 55 seconds.
04:44I go to a minute, too, 62 seconds when Burks gets pushed out of bounds at the 28-yard line.
04:51The clock has stopped.
04:53He's out of bounds.
04:55Like, there needs to be a quick meeting discussion right there of exactly how you're going to let this unfold.
05:02And I understand the people that want to say, like, oh, you should run that clock down as much as
05:06you can.
05:07And so, if you miss, New York doesn't get a chance.
05:10You've got to trust your guy from 40.
05:12Otherwise, what are we doing here?
05:13Listen, that's loser talk.
05:15You don't think about if you miss.
05:18You had a professional kicker.
05:19You're giving him a ball to hit a 40, basically a 42, 43-yard field goal.
05:23Agreed.
05:24He should be able to make that.
05:26And at that point, if they would have clocked it before trying to run this play, you got 12, 13
05:32seconds.
05:33At that point, about time it hit the net, you're talking about 8 to 9 seconds.
05:40If you can't go out there and stop somebody from going down the field at that point, there's something wrong.
05:45First down from the 26, you run Rashad White to the right side for two yards.
05:51There's no reason you couldn't have clocked it around 25, and then if you really want to run a third
05:55down play, you can.
06:00If you want to blame Jaden for the lack of urgency from 55 to 12, in my math, he's part
06:06of that.
06:07But how can you blame him when he's sitting waiting for the play?
06:10Right.
06:11And waiting for a substitution.
06:12That's my thing, where if you want to blame him, where he's waiting for the play and the personnel grouping
06:18and everything to come in, what are you supposed to do?
06:22And the further removed we get from it, the fact that you call a play that's going to be a
06:27pass play and has a substitution, and 17's not part of that?
06:32That's crazy to me, too.
06:35Hey.
06:38Let's go to...
06:39Let's not talk about this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, please.
06:42Russ is in Graysonville.
06:43Russell, what's up, dude?
06:45Hey, good afternoon, guys.
06:46Thanks for taking my call, man.
06:48First and foremost, I mean, usually by Wednesday, I'm kind of over the loss.
06:53I do not know when I'm going to get over this one.
06:55Yeah, it's a lingerer.
06:56The fact that there was absolutely zero urgency from the 11 players, maybe with the exception of Brandon Coleman.
07:04He's the only one that looked like, hey, oh, we've got to get this ball snapped.
07:08Bates was running up there, too.
07:10I don't care how much coaching you do.
07:13There was ample time, as you said, when Burks went out of bounds.
07:16You got 50-plus seconds to huddle up.
07:19And the message that's coming into the headset is, hey, we've got no timeouts.
07:24This is what we're going to do to get us to that field goal.
07:29I'm so disgusted.
07:31Dan Quinn has already worked himself out of a job last year.
07:35We keep hearing Dan Ability.
07:38That guy's mad.
07:40Hey, bro, you calling to the station just for our sake.
07:44You can't curse on there.
07:46It's crazy.
07:48It's just crazy.
07:49I'm going to just hit you with that one.
07:50I understand you're mad, but can't do it.
07:53We might – somebody might not be paying attention.
07:56Somebody may have walked out.
07:57We've got to drop it.
07:58So, we probably won't – if we remember you, we probably won't let you come on air again.
08:04Point blank.
08:05Hollywood calling for Minneapolis.
08:07Hollywood.
08:07Micah Parsons says it's all Jaden Daniels' fault.
08:10I do not agree with him.
08:13Micah Parsons is an idiot.
08:15Let me just say, Micah Parsons didn't have a sense enough to not throw his own teammates under the bus
08:21when he was in Dallas.
08:22We're supposed to be concerned with what he said about Jaden Daniels.
08:24But at any rate –
08:27He said, over this yet.
08:29No, no, no, no.
08:31I didn't hear yet.
08:34I thought he said, I'm not over this yet.
08:36I heard.
08:37Anyway, do you guys think people are fired up about this?
08:39I mean, clearly.
08:41Goodness gracious.
08:42Yeah, we got to – hey, man.
08:45You know what?
08:47Everybody on the phone –
08:48We get one more curse word, we're going to just get rid of it, and we're going to talk about
08:51something else.
08:51Yep.
08:53I'm not going to have the guys in there that damn worried all day.
08:56Stadion's scrambling back there.
08:58Come on, man.
08:58Tell you what.
08:59Stadion's got some urgency to him.
09:01Not like the commanders did with 22nd.
09:02I understand we want some saucy, spicy stuff.
09:06But I could give a damn about saucy and spicy at this point.
09:09Bobby's in Mechanicsville.
09:11What's up, Bobby?
09:12Do not curse.
09:13Hey, how you guys doing?
09:14Hey, I'm not going to curse.
09:16Hey, what was the time left when they had a 14-point lead?
09:21I mean, you got to go back to the coaching with that.
09:24Yes.
09:25You got to hold the lead for one.
09:27And then, really, you should be happy with the tie.
09:31If Scadaboo doesn't fumble, it's a loss, to be honest with you.
09:34So, you got to take that gracing there with it.
09:37So, I just think you should be happy with the tie.
09:40You know what?
09:41That's not a terrible perspective.
09:42You sound like an adult.
09:45And I like that.
09:46Finally, we get an adult to call in here.
09:48Hey, hey.
09:49Hey, B. Mitch.
09:50Yes.
09:50Hey, B. Mitch.
09:51I'm a Cowboy fan.
09:53Oh, Lord.
09:54Oh.
09:56I was giving you a compliment.
09:59Appreciate you, brother.
10:00I've always loved you, dude, man.
10:02You're a bomb.
10:03Thank you, man.
10:04Thanks for the call, dude.
10:05He snuck one in on it right there.
10:07He got me to give a compliment.
10:09Can we just say one thing?
10:12What are these calls right now?
10:15I don't know.
10:15Two people cursing and then a Cowboy.
10:19But the dude was the most – listen, bro.
10:21It could have been a complete loss.
10:22Yeah.
10:23And let's be real.
10:24That fumble was like a blessing.
10:28It was a gift.
10:29Yeah.
10:30And, like, people sitting up here trying to –
10:33the people who've taken blame, okay.
10:36But we know it's more than those two.
10:39Let's not try to make it one person.
10:41It's never one person's fault.
10:42Now, as he stated, what happened to the time that we had up 14?
10:47It's 11 people on defense, and how many other people were in there?
10:50And how many coaches over there?
10:52Then you flip it to the offense.
10:53How many people did that?
10:56Let's check in with Anna in Sterling.
10:59Anna, what's up?
11:00Hey, guys.
11:00Hey, guys.
11:01How's it going?
11:01How you doing?
11:02Well, first of all, not only was I a Cowboy fan, I'm a Steeler fan,
11:06but I still watch and root for the commanders.
11:08But I still put a lot of that blame on J.D. 5.
11:12He should have known.
11:13This is his third year.
11:14It's not like he's playing, you know, Pop Warner football and doesn't know.
11:18He should have known exactly what to do.
11:20And, yes, all of this is going to cost Dan Quinn his job,
11:24but it's a whole team that has basically collapsed.
11:26It has been horrible to watch.
11:31Again, watching what happened on Sunday was absolutely inexcusable.
11:36Even at a college level or a high school level,
11:39those quarterbacks know what to do.
11:41No one needs to be talking into his ear.
11:43He should have known.
11:44Spike the flipping ball.
11:46That's all he needed to do or throw it out of the end zone
11:48and not look like trying to be a hero.
11:50But, anyways, that's just my thought on this.
11:52Thank you guys again.
11:53Enjoy.
11:53Bye.
11:53I hear you.
11:54He certainly could have thrown the ball away.
11:55He could have thrown the ball away, but my question is this.
11:58Everybody say he should have known.
12:00He's been in the league this long.
12:03Shouldn't the coaches have known, too,
12:04that it wasn't necessary to run that damn play?
12:08So, I got to respect her.
12:09She's a lady because it was a guy I could go off on her.
12:11There's so many people who made so many mistakes.
12:14I will say this.
12:16When you hit 20 seconds, whatever the plan was should have changed at that moment.
12:21Should have been like, hey, spike it.
12:24Yes.
12:24So, we can sit up here and we talk like we know.
12:28I'm just here to let you know that coaches are constantly in the quarterback's ear.
12:33Not just when you're a young guy.
12:35When you're a guy who's been in the league 10, 15 damn years, too.
12:39They're constantly telling you what we're going to do, how we're going to do things.
12:43And it's amazing to me that at this moment, everybody just forgets about that aspect and blames one person.
12:53Because you have never been in damn competition in your life to understand what transpires in this moment.
13:00So, I understand what you're saying.
13:02Yes, everybody should know that play football.
13:06But when you're listening for something, and people are telling you what to do, how we're going to do stuff,
13:12your focus is only to play in front of you.
13:14Not about all the other stuff.
13:16People have jobs to do that.
13:17So, now y'all excuse people from those damn jobs?
13:23Let's go to Steve in Fairfax.
13:26Steve, what's up, dude?
13:27Micah Parsons blames Jaden.
13:31Boys, I'm so over this.
13:32You know, what happened Sunday happened Sunday.
13:34The game's over.
13:36It's in the past.
13:36We've got to move forward.
13:38You know, it's over at Dunwich.
13:40Did Jaden make a mistake?
13:41Okay, fine.
13:42Jaden made a mistake.
13:43I feel like what's getting buried is how good Jaden played.
13:46The dude just came back from an injury and showed up and showed out.
13:49I'm looking forward to seeing us on Sunday so Jaden can show out again in prime time like he always
13:56does.
13:56I know we've got a quarterback.
13:58I know he's back.
14:00I'm ready to move forward.
14:02It's in the rearview mirror.
14:04It's over.
14:04We're done with.
14:06Fair.
14:06Thank you, Steve.
14:08Steve, you know, that's the nature of radio today.
14:12We've got to always just go back to what we think will make people get arousal.
14:17Yeah, I said that word on purpose.
14:20It's no longer about delivering stuff.
14:22It's always about what's going to make somebody be the most ignorant.
14:26And this is it.
14:28Let's go to Slim in D.C.
14:29What's up, Slim?
14:31Hey, what's up, fellas?
14:32I'm heated.
14:33All right, look.
14:34Do not curse, please.
14:36Oh, ain't going to be no cursing, but I'm going to tell you all about yourself.
14:39Stop babying this, Bama.
14:41He's a football player, dog.
14:43He's the only one with the doo-doo in his diaper.
14:45Who's babying who, dude?
14:46Let me finish.
14:47Hold on.
14:47Let me finish.
14:48Watch this.
14:49We're creating scenarios.
14:51We all know.
14:52Everybody knows that they told him what to do.
14:55No, we don't know that.
14:57No, we don't know that.
14:58Hold on, man.
14:58Let me show you how we know.
15:00Let me show you how we know.
15:01Paul said it, and the coach throwing the headset, and everybody being clueless knows.
15:07You just said it.
15:08The coach always in the air.
15:09So what y'all doing now—
15:11What I'm saying is the coach is supposed to let you know something.
15:15Hold on, let me finish.
15:16Coach ain't supposed to let him know nothing.
15:17He get paid millions of dollars.
15:19He's supposed to know that.
15:21What we're doing right now is, I understand everybody loves Jaden, but the scenarios that
15:28y'all create—now watch this.
15:29Dan Quinn shouldn't have been here this year.
15:32He shouldn't be coaching this team, but I don't think that should be the reason that
15:37he should be fired, because he didn't do that.
15:39Guess what?
15:39Y'all wasn't talking like this two weeks ago.
15:42So all of a sudden—
15:42You never heard me say nobody should be fired, so I don't know where you're going
15:45with that, bro.
15:46They were up 14 with eight minutes to play.
15:47You never heard me say anybody should be fired.
15:49So when you speak, speak to me if you're going to talk to me.
15:52Speak to me about what I said.
15:55Look, what you're doing is bullying callers right now, B.
15:58I'm not bullying callers, but I'm not going to let callers bully me.
16:01I'm not going to let callers bully me either.
16:03We can't bully you, B. Mitch.
16:04We can't bully you.
16:06But that's what I'm saying.
16:07I have an opinion just like you do.
16:09And when you say something like that, you say what I know.
16:13You don't know a damn thing just like I don't know a damn thing.
16:16Okay, guess what I do know, B. Mitch?
16:18What?
16:18Guess what I know.
16:19What?
16:19I know for a fact that somebody was in his ear because I don't think nobody on that sideline
16:23is that incompetent.
16:25Okay?
16:25But what I also know is—
16:27Do you think he was looking for instruction?
16:29I don't really understand your point.
16:30I don't get what you're saying, bro.
16:31I'm trying to figure out—
16:32I'm trying to figure out—
16:33In his ear on every play.
16:35Guess what?
16:36If you look at the play, if it works, we call him a genius.
16:41No, we don't.
16:42I don't even know if Senna can get out of bounds.
16:44I don't know if we should have been running the play.
16:48That's what I'm telling you.
16:48I'm not creating a scenario.
16:50I'm telling you what I've learned over my 30-plus years in the NFL, that you shouldn't
16:54be running the play inside of 20 seconds.
16:57Slim, we got a break.
16:58I appreciate your power.
16:59I'm going to let you know what I know, bro.
17:01You can't tell me about what I know.
17:02You taught me what you know.
17:04I'm telling you what I know now.
17:06Slim, we got to go to break, man.
17:08We missed the kicks.
17:08Thank you for listening, dude.
17:09We missed the kicks, okay?
17:10All right, man.
17:11Stop bullying the callers, man.
17:12What kicks we miss?
17:13I don't think he's bullying anyone.
17:14What kicks we miss?
17:15Because I don't—
17:16First of all, I have never been one to be—
17:18They missed the extra point, I guess.
17:19I've never—he shouldn't have been missing him.
17:21I should never—I will never be a person on the radio to where I'm not going to speak
17:26my opinion.
17:27And if I think your opinion is wrong, I'm going to tell you, just like you're trying
17:30to tell me.
17:31I have the right to say that, too.
17:32I don't agree with everybody.
17:34Some people might.
17:35I don't.
17:36And I never will.
17:38Be mentioned, Fiddler.
