00:00Why did Iron Man have so much difficulty fighting Captain America and Bucky, considering that his armor is literally a
00:05walking tank?
00:05A lot of people say that this is a plot hole, but hold on, it's not quite like that.
00:08First, the Mark 46 armor wasn't created for total warfare.
00:11After the Sokovia disaster in Avengers Age of Ultron, Tony started developing much less lethal armor.
00:16In other words, the Mark 46 is more focused on containment and control than absolute destruction.
00:20And that became very clear throughout the movie.
00:22Ant-Man manages to get inside the armor, Captain America manages to open part of it using pure brute force,
00:26and Winter Soldier practically rips the power source out of the suit at the end of the fight.
00:30And there's another thing.
00:31Tony wasn't fighting rationally.
00:32He was emotionally destroyed after discovering that Bucky killed his parents,
00:35and one of his best friends knew about it and never told him anything.
00:37Tony wasn't fighting with strategies like he normally does.
00:40He was fighting with hatred, and that caused him to make several mistakes during the fight.
00:43Not to mention that he wasn't fighting normal people.
00:44They were simply two super soldiers.
00:46Now imagine if the Tony from Captain America, Civil War, were using the nanotechnology armor from Avengers.
00:51Infinity War, this armor can create weapons instantly,
00:54regenerate itself, and fight almost at the same level as Thanos.
00:56I guarantee you that with this armor, Captain and Bucky would be torn to shreds.
