[AI GL] Sisters in High Society
Transcript
00:04My name is Savannah. I'm the eldest daughter of the Vale family and the heir my grandfather personally trained.
00:09Today I learned that my biological sister had been found, that the fake heiress who replaced her for 18 years
00:14trying to drive her out.
00:15Believe it or not, I only have to lift a finger to have him thrown out of Vale.
00:18Guards, throw her out.
00:27Stop!
00:33You're nothing but a fake who was switched in 18 years ago.
00:36Who gave you the nerve to flaunt your power in front of my real sister.
00:41Don't be afraid. In this family, your sister has the final say.
01:02Happy birthday to you, Dad, Mom. Today is both your birthdays. Happy birthday.
01:07Good, good.
01:07He's so thoughtful and devoted, unlike some people who can't even remember their parents' birthdays. So cold and heartless.
01:14Must have been too busy with work and forgotten.
01:16Dad, Mom, don't say that about Savannah. She's simply too busy with work. It's understandable that she forgot your develop
01:19days.
01:20A fall at career like her, a woman, only cares about...
01:21She's doing at Val Group's development.
01:22Career woman.
01:23She's just an ungrateful cheating a week ago, only be exposed as the cheater herself.
01:26Or when she ran a red light two months ago and broke someone's twake.
01:28I know you don't like me, but you can't accuse me for no reason, though. I was used by other
01:31people...
01:32Savannah, Tiffany is sweet and sensible, unlike you, so cold and heartless.
01:34You must apologize to Tiffany today, or I'll pretend I never had a daughter.
01:36Mother, calm down.
01:37Mom, from the moment you decided to have their daughter with Dad, didn't you already act as if I didn't
01:40exist?
01:43Enjoy the cake. I still have a meeting.
01:50Madam, something's wrong. Miss Tiffany.
02:02Hello?
02:03Savannah, come home right now. Something Val Group, and she's already happened. Your sister has...
02:06It's been less than an hour since you want me to suppress the news, or go to her school and
02:09clean up her mess.
02:10No. We just got results. The blood types don't match.
02:15Savannah, your sister, she's not our biological daughter. She may have been switched at the hospital back then.
02:22Switched? Dad, have you forgotten? When Mom gave birth, she stayed in a private hospital controlled by Val Group in
02:26the top floor VIP maternity suite.
02:27Mom was the only patient admitted there that entire month. Where could another baby have come from to be switched
02:31with hers?
02:31But the test report...
02:32Reports don't lie. People do.
02:37Before I get home, don't do anything rash, especially Mom.
02:40Pull all security footage from Val Private Medical Center from 18 years ago, covering the day Madam Mapping gave birth
02:44in three days before and after it, including the top floor VIP maternity suite.
02:46Highest classification.
02:47Miss, the surveillance footage has been updated several times there to go. This may take time.
02:49Then send people to find it. Just one hour.
02:51Yes.
02:57Miss, please take a look.
03:04I'm here. I'm right here.
03:06Congratulations. It's a girl.
03:07A daughter. I'm going to be a father.
03:11I retrieved the hospital records. At the time, the only person authorized to enter the top floor VIP area was
03:16Head Nurse Sylvia.
03:18After verification, the woman in the footage is not the same Sylvia listed in the records. Someone impersonated...
03:22A nurse appeared out of nowhere in a heavily secured private hospital and used another baby out my mother's two
03:26-day-old child.
03:27This wasn't an accident. It was a planned switch.
03:29Get the car ready. We're going back to Vale.
03:31Yes.
03:41See? Even after something like this, Mum and Dad still care about me the most.
03:45Savannah?
03:47Where is she?
03:48Who?
03:49My sister. The one who was switched away. The real daughter of Vale.
03:53Savannah, Tiffany is still here. How can Mum...
03:55This isn't the time to act out a touching mother-daughter scene, especially with an outsider whose identity is unknown.
03:59Where is she?
04:00In... the basement.
04:02Okay.
04:14That face looks almost exactly like's grandmother when she was young. Looking at her, I realize I don't hate having
04:19a sister. I only hated Tiffany's arrogant, overbearing personality.
04:22Don't be afraid. I'm Savannah, your sister.
04:27Who did this to you?
04:28My foster father. He was drunk.
04:36From today on, no one will ever lay a finger on you again. In this family, your sister has the
04:42final say.
04:47What's your name?
04:48My name is Daisy.
04:50From today on, your name is Aria. You'll live here from now on.
05:10What is it? You don't like them?
05:11No, they're... they're too nice. I don't deserve them.
05:14Nonsense. You're my biological sister. These are only the most basic necessities. You deserve the best things in the world.
05:19Try these clothes and see whether they fit. If they don't, I'll have the brand send more.
05:21Savannah, can I really live here? I won't be thrown out.
05:25What has she been through to be this frightened?
05:30Aria, this is your home. Someone stole your life before, but now you're back. No one can drive you out
05:35stand tall.
05:36Okay. Get some rest tonight.
05:47Mom, even if I'm not your biological daughter, you'll always be my mother.
05:53Savannah, I know you're angry, but Mom isn't well. Please don't upset her anymore.
05:56This is all my fault. I should never have appeared in Vail.
06:02Graham, prepare the guest room on the west side of the second floor for Tiffany.
06:05From now on, you're fully responsible for Aria's meals and daily needs.
06:09If anything happens to her, I'll hold you accountable.
06:11Yes, miss.
06:18Savannah, how can you do this?
06:21Tiffany is also...
06:22Also what?
06:27An outsider of unknown origin occupied someone else's place for 18 years.
06:30Vail has already been generous by not throwing her out.
06:32Are we supposed to keep treating her like an heiress?
06:33No! How can you raise Tiffany with my own hands?
06:35Yes.
06:35You enjoyed the pleasure of raising someone else's child while your real daughter was bullied, starved, frozen, and left without
06:39proper clothing.
06:40Mom, your happiness came at a very high price.
06:47Savannah, how can you say that to Mom?
06:49I know you hate me, but Mom is innocent.
06:51Innocent, indulging wrongdoing, and failing to judge people is her greatest fault.
06:55Dad, I'll investigate the fake nurse who switched the babies back then to the very end.
07:01Do as you say.
07:05How could she be so heartless?
07:08Don't you, would you become like this? I never would have given birth to her.
07:11Mom, it's all right.
07:13No matter what happens, I'll always be your daughter.
07:15No one is taking my place as the Vail heiress.
07:20Miss, these are all of Tiffany's medical reports since birth.
07:22Every report was handled by the same doctor.
07:24One month before Tiffany was exposed as the fake air grab, the doctor happened to die in an accident.
07:27Did you find the cause of death?
07:28The doctors offered sudden cardiac arrest while driving home or college car class.
07:30But we still have no definite lead on the nurse who imprisoned iteration Sylvia and switched the babies.
07:33Keep investigating.
07:35Yes.
07:40How is Aria?
07:41Miss Aria is very quiet and takes all her meals in her room.
07:44She doesn't seem interested in the clothes or jewellery as we sent her.
07:47You may go.
07:49How are preparations for the meeting with Valia going?
07:51Valia said they are attached great importance about the confusion over the Veil bloodline.
07:54They became concerned that a power struggle in the family might affect the partnership and cancel the meeting.
07:58Get the car ready.
07:59I'll speak to the person in charge myself.
08:04This really isn't that simple.
08:06Someone began plotting against Val 18 years ago.
08:13Savannah isn't here.
08:14This is the perfect chance to deal with Aria and drive her out of Vail.
08:16A bumple is still a bumple, even in royal robes.
08:19Everything follows the rule of first come, first serve.
08:20I came to Vail first, so you should call me your older sister.
08:23You?
08:23I only have one sister, Savannah.
08:25You really have no manners.
08:26Today, I'll teach you soon.
08:29Miss?
08:31Delay the meeting.
08:32I suddenly remembered something I need to tell Aria.
08:35Don't think that entering Vail makes you a proper Vail airnress.
08:37Look at how timid you are.
08:39It's laughable.
08:41I heard your foster father was an alcoholic.
08:43No wonder you reek of poverty.
08:45Savannah is in an international meeting and won't be back anytime soon.
08:47No one is coming to save you.
08:49You can help me test whether these scissors are sharp, pretty eyes.
08:53I wonder what they'd look like after I gouged them out.
08:58Stop!
09:19Savannah, you're back.
09:25I don't know what got into Arian.
09:26She suddenly picked up the scissors to hurt herself.
09:28I was terrified, so I grabbed them from her and saved her.
09:31Yes, Miss.
09:32Miss Arian suddenly tried to kill herself.
09:34It was Miss Tiffany who saved her.
09:36Yes.
09:41Savannah, you misunderstood.
09:49Is what she said true?
09:50Savannah, it's all right.
09:51I'm not badly hurt.
09:52Please don't blame Aria.
09:53She's too frightened to say a word.
09:59Savannah, how dare you hit me!
10:03Savannah, how dare you hit me!
10:05So what if I hit you?
10:07You're a fake who stole someone else's life through a conspiracy,
10:11yet you still dare bully the rightful daughter right under my nose.
10:14Why shouldn't I hit you?
10:16Neil.
10:19Go collect your wages from the finance apartment and get out of Vale.
10:24No business owned by Vale will ever hire you again.
10:27Miss, please spare us!
10:28Miss Tiffany made us-
10:29Get out!
10:34It seems the guest room was still too comfortable for you.
10:36You had enough energy left to stir up trouble.
10:38From now on, you'll move into a servant's room in the annex.
10:41Without my permission, you may not enter the main house.
10:43You wouldn't dare.
10:44Mom and Dad will never agree.
10:48Guards, escort Miss Tiffany to the servant's room in the annex and watch her move.
10:51Without my permission, she is forbidden from entering the main house.
10:55Just wait, Savannah!
10:57Just wait, Savannah!
10:57Mom and Dad will come after you!
11:02After 18 years, you still haven't figured out who runs Vale.
11:16Why didn't you tell me when she bullied you?
11:19Why didn't you fight back?
11:23I didn't dare.
11:24I was afraid.
11:25If I told anyone, she would make Mom and Dad hate me even more and throw me out.
11:29I don't want to go back there, Savannah!
11:31I'll behave!
11:32Please don't send me away!
11:33Aria, don't be afraid.
11:34This is your home.
11:35From now on, no one in this family can bully you.
11:37You're the only one allowed to bully others.
11:39Anyone hurts you, hit them back a thousand times harder.
11:42Even if the sky falls, your sister hold it up for you.
11:45Starting tomorrow, I'll hire the best teachers for you.
11:47Academics, etiquette, art, self-defense.
11:49We'll learn them one by one.
11:49I want you to stand proudly beside that fake and shine a thousand times brighter than she does.
11:53As for everyone who owes you, I'll make them repay you one by one.
11:56Including whoever switched you back then.
11:58Don't cry.
12:01Don't be afraid.
12:02Your sister is back.
12:05Savannah, if Tiffany hadn't told me, I still wouldn't know you hit her!
12:08Savannah, whatever you have to say, talk to Tiffany properly.
12:11Tiffany is reasonable.
12:12Dad, Mom, it was all my fault.
12:14Savannah was right to discipline me.
12:15It seems my slap was still too light.
12:17You still haven't learned your place.
12:19Savannah!
12:20Don't think that just because Conrad personally chose you as his heir, you can throw your weight around in veil!
12:24You hit Tiffany and you must apologize to her today!
12:27Tiffany tried to hurt Aria with scissors, then lied that Aria was trying to kill herself.
12:31I sent the scissors for testing.
12:40Only her fingerprints were found on them.
12:43Tiffany, is that really true?
12:45Dad, Mom, please believe me.
12:46It wasn't the way Sienna said...
12:48If Tiffany says it wasn't, then it wasn't!
12:49I believe Tiffany!
12:50The forensic report work cannot be wrong.
12:52Whoever did wrong must be punished.
12:53Guards.
12:54What do you mean?
12:55Are you trying to drive Tiffany away?
12:57Savannah, your mother isn't well.
12:58Please don't make her angry, alright?
12:59Veil Group is on the rise.
13:00Driving away a disgraceful fake isn't worth affecting Veil Group's stock price, and she isn't worth it.
13:03But Veil has rules.
13:04Tiffany did wrong, so under those rules, she must be confined for ten days.
13:07Days of confinement?
13:07Tiffany is so delicate.
13:08How could she endure this?
13:09This is a decision, not a negotiation.
13:11Whether she can endure it has nothing to do with me.
13:12Let's go.
13:27Next Monday, you'll report to Weston Academy.
13:29You'll be in the same grade as Tiffany, but a different class.
13:31Weston is the most prestigious private school in Silver Lake.
13:33Veil is one of its board members, so you don't need to worry, Ariane.
13:35Savannah, I can't do it.
13:37A school like that?
13:38You can.
13:38Weston Academy is hardly a dragon's dare.
13:40Even if it were, I'd flatten it and turn it into a playground for you.
13:44You're not going there simply to study.
13:46You're going to take back what belongs to you.
13:48Your identity, your status, and your respect.
13:50But I don't know anything.
13:51They'll definitely look down on me.
13:53Then learn what you don't know.
13:54This is the course schedule Miss Sianna tinsily arranged for you.
13:56Starting tomorrow and continuing until you enroll next Monday, every teacher will come here for one-on-one lessons.
14:00The schedule is tight, and it will be hard.
14:02Tell me, can you persevere?
14:06I can.
14:08Good.
14:09Remember, feeling fear isn't shameful.
14:11Surrendering to fear is.
14:12A daughter of Veil may lose, but she must never surrender before the fight begins.
14:17Stop shaking.
14:18Hold it steady.
14:19A young lady from an elite family doesn't take afternoon tea like that.
14:23These are the academic subjects you'll study next.
14:27I'll work hard and finish everything.
14:29I won't disappoint Savannah.
14:31How is Aria doing with her studies?
14:33Miss Aria is working very hard on every subject.
14:35The lights in her room are always the last to go out.
14:39Send the things I bought her to her room.
14:41Yes, Miss.
14:42Yes.
14:59Well, have you chosen one?
15:02Savannah, they're all too beautiful.
15:04No matter which one I carry, I'll become a target.
15:07Then take this one.
15:10Why this one?
15:24Hold your head up.
15:34Who is that?
15:35Savannah brought her personally.
15:36I don't know, but she's quite pretty.
15:37She just looks a little timid.
15:39She's a transfer student in Tiffany's grade.
15:41Hey, where's Tiffany?
15:42Why isn't she here?
15:43It's getting late.
15:44Go inside.
15:48Go.
15:57Miss Aria, your seat has been arranged.
15:59I'll take you there.
16:01Remember what I told you.
16:02Whoever makes you uncomfortable, make them even more uncomfortable.
16:05Even if the sky falls, your sister is here.
16:08Okay.
16:26All right, everyone.
16:28Let me introduce today's new transfer student, Aria.
16:31Please welcome her.
16:34Hello, everyone.
16:35My name's Aria.
16:37The other students don't seem to like me, but just as Savannah said,
16:41a daughter of Vale must never surrender before the fight begins.
16:45That's how a Vale should be.
16:48Miss Aria stayed in her seat reading after class.
16:50No one approached her.
16:51At lunch, she sat alone in a corner of the cafeteria.
16:53Several girls who appeared to be Tiffany's followers surrounded her and said ague things.
16:56Miss Aria didn't respond, so they left.
16:58During afternoon P.E., no one wanted to partner with her,
17:00and the teacher placed her in the smaller group.
17:04The situation is better than I expected.
17:06At least there's no open bullying.
17:08But silent exclusion as an isolation can also kill without leaving a mark.
17:13Let's go pick up Aria.
17:26Savannah, I didn't embarrass you today.
17:29How was your day?
17:30No one spoke to me.
17:32It was as if I were invisible.
17:33That's normal.
17:34The highest circles reject outsiders, and you arrived out of nowhere, so they're all watching.
17:37Starting tomorrow, you'll receive invitations to afternoon tea.
17:39You don't have to accept them all.
17:41Choose the two families with the highest status and make an appearance.
17:43Why?
17:43Because I personally brought you to school this morning.
17:46In this circle, my attitude sets the trend.
17:48They'll soon know who they should be trying hardest to please.
17:51Okay.
17:52Let's go.
17:54Madam, Miss Savannah ordered that Miss Tiffany may only stay in a servant's room in the Andect.
17:58Mom, don't be angry.
17:59I was never truly a Veils.
18:01It's only right that Savannah won't let me stay in the main house.
18:03What, Miss Savannah?
18:04I'm the lady of this house.
18:06Mom.
18:07You're here at the right time.
18:08Tell them to move.
18:09Tiffany has been pampered since childhood.
18:10How can she live with the servants in that miserable Annex?
18:11She's never suffered such humiliation in her life.
18:13She's humiliated.
18:14Living in a servant's room is humiliation.
18:15What about Aria?
18:16What kind of life did she live for the past 18 years?
18:18Hell.
18:20She has been humiliated.
18:22Living in a servant's room is humiliation.
18:23What about Aria?
18:24What kind of life did she live for the past 18 years?
18:26Hell.
18:26Those are two different things.
18:27Tiffany is innocent.
18:29She benefited from a stolen life, enjoying someone else's identity, luxury, and endless
18:32affection.
18:33You call that innocent?
18:34Mom, if you've forgotten who your biological daughter is, I don't mind reminding you.
18:37Graham?
18:38At your service, Miss.
18:39From now on, without my permission, not even a fly is allowed into the main house.
18:42If anyone insists on forcing her way in, have security about anyone escort her out.
18:45Yes, Miss.
18:48Stop!
18:48If you still refuse to let Tiffany move back into the main house today, I'll kill myself
18:50right in front of you!
18:51Mom, don't do this!
18:52It's all right!
18:52I was always a fake.
18:53It's only right that Sarana makes me live in the annex.
18:55Mom, if you don't value your own life, I have no reason to value it for you.
18:57But if you insist on killing yourself, I'll make sure you're sent to the hospital with dignity.
19:00Do as you please.
19:02How did I give birth to such an ungrateful daughter?
19:06Mom, it's my fault.
19:07It's all my fault.
19:08Everything is my fault.
19:11Come on.
19:12Let's go upstairs.
19:16Harlan, how has Grandpa been lately?
19:18Conrad looks well enough.
19:19But lately, he often stares at photographs of the lovely madam.
19:22Grandpa is getting nostalgic.
19:23I'll bring someone back later.
19:24The other young lady.
19:25Prepare a delight refreshments.
19:27Tell Grandpa that his Jod mater have returned.
19:29All right.
19:29I understand.
19:33Savannah, will Grandpa like me?
19:35Whether he likes you doesn't matter at all.
19:37You carry Veil blood.
19:38That's a fact.
19:38Whether he acknowledges it or not cannot change it.
19:41Stand tall.
19:42You don't need anyone's affection to prove who you are.
19:44That may be true, but Grandpa is the true anchor of Veil.
19:47Only after he acknowledges Area will those opportunistic branch relatives dare not neglect her.
19:52I hope he'll like her when he sees her.
19:57Miss!
20:00She looks so much like Madam when she was young.
20:03Miss Savannah, Miss Area, Conrad has been waiting inside for some time.
20:07Please.
20:14Grandpa.
20:18Raise your head.
20:26Go on.
20:33Come closer.
20:40You look so much like your grandmother when she was young.
20:43You're just too thin and far too timid.
20:46Well, have you found out what happened?
20:50Grandpa, someone began plotting to switch the Veil bloodsline 18 years ago.
20:55Outrageous!
20:56Someone actually dared scheme against Veil!
20:57That poor child has suffered.
20:59Next up, is Martha's Brady is my birthday banquet.
21:01Yes, Aria suffered greatly during the 18 years after she was switched.
21:03With every introduce Ariel into every family, my granddaughter wandered outside for 18 years.
21:07She deserves to be welcomed back in grand style.
21:08All right.
21:09And you will personally arrange the banquet.
21:11Use the highest standard.
21:12I want everyone to know who the true Veil heiress is.
21:15As for that fake, send her far away.
21:18I don't want her spoiling the banquet.
21:20Yes, Grandpa.
21:22Savannah, does this mean Grandpa has accepted me?
21:25Yes.
21:25What he accepted is your Veil blood.
21:27But whether you can make him truly respect you will depend on your own abilities from now on.
21:30Don't worry, Savannah.
21:31I'll grow stronger as quickly as I can.
21:37Lock your knees.
21:39Straighten your back.
21:40Pull your shoulder blades together.
21:42Together!
21:44Stand properly.
21:51Aria, Aria.
21:51If you can't keep going, you can take a break.
21:56Grandpa's birthday banquet is almost here.
21:58Savannah, it's all right.
21:59I can keep going.
22:02Good.
22:20Wear this to Grandpa's birthday banquet tomorrow.
22:25Savannah, isn't this a little too flashy?
22:29Grandpa will introduce you to every family at the banquet tomorrow.
22:33Dressing too modily wouldn't match your status.
22:35Tomorrow, you must be the most eye-catching equipment person.
22:40I understand, Savannah.
22:41I understand, Savannah.
22:44Graham.
22:46Tomorrow's Grandpa's birthday banquet.
22:48Have someone watch Tiffany and don't let her come cause trouble.
22:50Yes.
22:50They're afraid I'll be in I Saw it and want me at Grandpa's birthday banquet.
22:53Then I'll find someone to ruin it for them.
22:57Why can't Tiffany attend Conrad's birthday banquet?
23:00Aria's going too far.
23:01And Conrad insists on announcing Aria's identity at the banquet.
23:05Isn't that obviously a slap in Tiffany's face?
23:07Enough.
23:07Today is Conrad's birthday.
23:09Can't you behave for once?
23:16Is that the real Val heiress who was lost for 18 years?
23:18That's right.
23:19I heard today isn't only Conrad Val's 80th birthday.
23:21Val is also holding a grand homecoming ceremony for Aria, the real heiress who was lost for 18 years.
23:25Is that the real Val heiress who was lost for 18 years?
23:27That's right.
23:28I heard today isn't only Conrad Val's 80th birthday.
23:30Val is also holding a grand homecoming ceremony for Aria, the real heiress who was lost for 18 years.
23:36She looks exactly like Mrs. Val.
23:39Now that's the bearing of a true heiress.
23:41Compared with the other one, they're worlds apart.
23:49Today is my 80th birthday.
23:51But I also want to announce something.
23:54The true heiress of Vale has returned.
23:56Aria!
24:03Miss Vale, would you honor us with a drink?
24:05Miss Vale, your skin is so fair.
24:07Could you tell us your skin care secret?
24:08Go on. Your sister is right behind you.
24:16Miss Vale, would you honor us with a drink?
24:18Miss Vale, your skin is so fair.
24:20Could you tell us your skin care secret?
24:22Go on. Your sister is right behind you.
24:28Miss, we have a lead on the fake nurse who took Miss Aria.
24:31Tell me.
24:31Our preliminary investigation produced a result.
24:33Eighteen years ago, Sylvia worked as a nurse in Optretrix at Val Private Medical Center.
24:35Three months after Madame gave birth, she resigned.
24:37We investigated her social connections and financial records and found that she had a cousin named Denise.
24:40That woman was Miss Aria's former foster mother.
24:45Sylvia.
24:46Denise.
24:47So that's how it connects?
24:50Find Sylvia.
24:51I want to know where she is.
24:53Understood, miss.
24:56Have you investigated Denise and her husband?
24:58Yes.
24:58Wayne was originally a truck driver and a gambling addict.
25:00About a year after they brought Miss Aria home, suddenly they all said gamblers.
25:02Did you compare Denise with the fake nurse in the surveillance footage?
25:04Yes.
25:04We interviewed her in the farthest.
25:04She was around five feet, six to five foot seven.
25:06Her build closely resembles Denise.
25:07Good.
25:07Anything else?
25:08Someone said that shortly before Sylvia resigned this year and stayed for several days.
25:11Investigate further.
25:12Most importantly, find out whether Tiffany has been in private contact with them.
