00:00This contest is scheduled for one fall.
00:05Coming down to the ice, accompanied by the Million Dollar Man,
00:09Ted Diablo 3, for you 252 pounds.
00:14Here is the Million Dollar Champion, Snow Toll, Steve Austin.
00:34A new attendance record set here, ladies and gentlemen, at the Pond here in Anaheim.
00:3918,852, jam-packing the Arrowhead Pond, yes indeed, for WrestleMania,
00:47the greatest spectacle in sports entertainment in the world today,
00:49and there you see the Million Dollar Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
00:54All right, let's take you back to Doc Hendricks out there, I believe, with Savio Vega.
00:58Obviously, anything can happen here, Vince, and I'm standing here with Savio.
01:02Savio, the biggest match of your life, but right now,
01:03I'd like to take you back to last weekend on WWF Superstars.
01:07Because of a random drawing, you drew Stone Cold as your partner, and
01:11there we see not only one time that he refused to tag you,
01:14here was the second time he refused to tag you.
01:17Obviously, you could not take it anymore, you let him have it.
01:21And then with this spin kick, well, I thought you were a short victory.
01:24Then we've seen the agenda of Stone Cold.
01:26He never wanted to win that match, he wanted to cost you harm, and
01:30he did cost you the opportunity of advancing and winning the tag team titles.
01:34This past weekend on Superstars, after he still had the Million Dollar Dream on a victory,
01:39you saved the kid from trouble, then you felt the effects of that Million Dollar Dream.
01:44Tonight, do you have a way to avoid this, a counter for the Million Dollar Dream?
01:48Finally, my dream come true, Steve Austin.
01:51I'm in WrestleMania against the guy I wanna fight, you, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
01:56Be prepared for the fight of your life, because Savio Vega is ready for anything.
02:02All righty, there you have it, hold on to your hats, Vince, back to you.
02:06Thank you very much, Doc, I'm very excited, indeed.
02:10Savio Vega, anxiously, here we go, awaiting its opportunity to even the score with
02:16Stone Cold Steve Austin, and it looks like Savio Vega is preparing for this matchup,
02:20yes, before he even gets in the ring.
02:23Vega, a very determined athlete, and here comes Savio Vega, here we go.
02:28Stone Cold Steve Austin racing out of time, going to work on Savio Vega.
02:31And Vega now, my goodness, Vega with another, look at this, Stone Cold Steve Austin,
02:36Savio Vega slugging it out here.
02:38Yeah, I got a feeling this is gonna be a little on the physical side, too.
02:41Yeah, it doesn't get much more physical than what we just saw in Hollywood Backlap Raw,
02:44but now we're back in the square.
02:47And Savio Vega, look at this, hammering away on Stone Cold Steve Austin.
02:51Yeah, here we go.
02:52Wait a minute, yeah, look at that, turn about fair play.
02:55They're rolling around almost in the dirt, if it were, and to the outside.
03:00Listen to the smack of the flesh, my goodness.
03:05Vega and Stone Cold Steve Austin, mean business, here at WrestleMania.
03:09Look out, he's going after- Go ahead.
03:11Going after the Million Dollar Man.
03:13Yeah, look at that, and Ted DiBiase with a decoy there, it did not work.
03:18No, sir, Stone Cold Steve Austin, now down to the canvas.
03:23And Savio Vega with Austin, throws him back into the ring.
03:27Savio Vega back in, Savio Vega, how about this?
03:30I don't know if anyone really expected Vega to take over quite like this, this early on.
03:34Look at this, and a return there, a hard right hand, and a boot to the midsection.
03:39Stone Cold Steve Austin.
03:41Whoa!
03:43That should do it.
03:45That's just a little example of why the Million Dollar Man has such faith and
03:48confidence in Steve Austin.
03:50And a double axe down goes Steve Austin.
03:53No, down goes Savio Vega.
03:54Beg your pardon?
03:56Stomp him.
03:57Beg your pardon?
03:58I just said stomp him.
03:59That's what you do when you get a man down, put the boots to him.
04:02I think he heard you.
04:04Stone Cold Steve Austin and Savio Vega here at WrestleMania.
04:08Uncover here, and we get a count of two, and a kick out by Vega.
04:13Stone Cold Steve Austin, the only individual worthy of being known as the Million Dollar Champion, Ted DiBiase, looked for
04:18years.
04:19That's right, but by the way, this is a non-title match, you know.
04:22Non-title, what do you mean by that?
04:24Non-title, what do you mean?
04:25What do you mean?
04:25What do you mean?
04:26The Million Dollar Championship belt tied up for grabs.
04:28Right, exactly.
04:28Not a sanction done to last.
04:31It's a Million Dollar Champion, you know, when you go in there, sometimes you risk that beautiful diamond studded belt,
04:36sometimes you don't.
04:37Vega with an elbow that landed.
04:38Vega now, trying to get out of this, and goes up and goes to the back door.
04:44Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
04:46Wait a minute, do we have, we're told, a cover line, two and a, almost a count of three.
04:52Do we actually, do we have Rowdy Rowdy Piper on cellular phone?
04:55What?
04:55Hello?
04:56Rowdy, are you?
04:57Yes.
04:58Yes.
04:59I'm driving 80 miles out of this, this is the way I'm gonna end this.
05:04He's ten different kinds of wrong.
05:06I come here to fight, I come here for a street fight, and he ain't seen nothing yet.
05:11Let me tell you what I'm gonna do to this.
05:13Are you going, are you trying to catch up with him?
05:16Rowdy Piper.
05:17Piper doesn't even have a driver's license.
05:19Somebody call the cops.
05:21Wait, we've lost him.
05:22Rowdy Piper, obviously, in hot pursuit of gold dust, out there somewhere on the freeway.
05:30Get the nut, folks, get your kids off the streets.
05:33I'll say.
05:34Clear the whole highway with hot rod out there, who knows what's gonna happen?
05:38And, my goodness, Savio Vega now.
05:42With a close line.
05:43And how about, looks like he ripped his bicep.
05:46And down to the canvas.
05:47Vega's arms hurt.
05:50Stone Cold Steve Austin, a master tactician.
05:54That's for sure, and Ted DiBiase very pleased with his results thus far into the arm bar.
06:00You know, if you just pal around with DiBiase a little bit, he'll give you a lot of words of
06:04wisdom.
06:05You know what he told me the other day?
06:06What was that?
06:07Money is not the root of all evil.
06:09The lack of money is the root of all evil.
06:19Wait a minute, we have him again.
06:20I think we, speaking of a connection, Hot Rod, are you back with us?
06:23Can you hear me?
06:24We can hear you now, we lost him.
06:27You know, that's amazing.
06:29I don't know what you guys think that you have here when you got me, but I come to fight
06:34this guy.
06:36I don't care if he's headed for Tijuana, I'm gonna bang on his car until this guy falls on over.
06:42Listen folks, I come here to make a man out of this.
06:46And that's exactly what I'm gonna do, and I'll tell you something else with this hat.
06:51Whoa, Hot Rod, what's going on out there?
06:53Have you got any, it seems to be like, stay away.
06:56We lost him again.
06:58They were gonna have a demolition derby out there somewhere.
07:00Good very well.
07:03We'll keep you posted as we can with Mr. Piper's cellular phone.
07:10Right now, Savio Viganal coming off the rope.
07:13Wait a minute, look at this.
07:14Viganal, yes, that can do it.
07:15One, two, and yeah.
07:17No.
07:19So very, very close.
07:23Viganal with Austin coming off and down he goes.
07:27Two in.
07:28No, no, no, no.
07:29Here we go.
07:30That'll do it.
07:31Yes, beautiful.
07:31Look out, look out.
07:32So very, very close.
07:34Wait a minute, stay with it.
07:35And two in.
07:35No.
07:37Viganal, in control in.
07:39Wow, seesaw matchup.
07:40They're reversing every move in the book.
07:42They certainly are.
07:43And Stone Cold Steve Austin now.
07:45And no.
07:49And here we go now, trying to get into a backslot and trying to get him down.
07:53But man, what are they saying?
07:55Look.
07:55Wait a minute.
07:56We have some sort of aerial footage that we're told Roddy Piper is out on the, we have
08:03aerial footage.
08:04That's Roddy Piper out there.
08:07Look, somebody did call the cops.
08:09Wait a minute.
08:12Devastating maneuver.
08:19And we will try to keep you posted.
08:22Helicopters, it looks like all kind of stuff going on outside of the Anaheim.
08:29My goodness, and lots going on inside as well.
08:31A highly competitive matchup here, Savio Vega against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
08:38It's WrestleMania, and these two individuals are letting it all hang out.
08:41So here we go, small package, got him.
08:43No, no, no.
08:45So close.
08:49Fierce competitors, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Savio Vega.
08:55And, uh-oh, what's this now?
08:57Steve Austin may be Stone Cold, but I see a little perspiration on the brow of the
09:01million dollar man.
09:02I guess so.
09:05Two tremendous athletes as Austin now sets up.
09:09Watch out.
09:10Vega going all the way to the top.
09:11All the way to the top, McMan.
09:13Finish him up in style.
09:18Savio Vega raising that boot, yes.
09:21Right into the kisser of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ted DiBiase beside himself.
09:26DiBiase's million dollar champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
09:28Perhaps seconds away from being defeated, but no.
09:31Vega's not moving.
09:35Come on, Austin.
09:35To a count of six, both individuals still down.
09:37Vega now starting to stir.
09:41Ted DiBiase beside himself.
09:44Yeah, Stone Cold Steve Austin back on his feet.
09:46Maybe not for long.
09:47A block.
09:47But did you see the sweat flat?
09:49One connection to another right.
09:51Another one there by Savio.
09:54Yes.
09:55And now Vega getting a second win.
09:58Sets up Stone Cold Steve Austin for the ride.
10:01Forget about it.
10:04Gonna have to do something, Austin.
10:07All right, set up now for a bag, but yes.
10:10And Stone Cold Steve Austin.
10:12Down to the canvas again.
10:14Savio Vega now with momentum.
10:16Vega coming out.
10:16Down to the canvas again.
10:18Look at this, look at this.
10:19Come on, get it down.
10:20Ted DiBiase's up, we're on down.
10:22Whoa!
10:23Wow, did you see that?
10:25Yeah.
10:26Look out the referee.
10:27They're striking the official for a moment and Vega.
10:30Hey, wait a minute.
10:32Ted DiBiase, this match isn't over.
10:36Ted DiBiase is not over.
10:39Ted DiBiase just placed that million dollar belt.
10:43From behind, look out.
10:44Right in the face.
10:46Yes.
10:46Here we go in the cup.
10:48The referee is still out.
10:50The referee was nailed with that spin kick of Savio Vega.
10:53Go ahead and Vega.
10:55Wait.
10:56Hey, wait a minute.
10:58Austin.
10:59No.
11:01Austin just right in the head, just nailed Vega.
11:06And now look at this.
11:07That was a million dollar shot, McMahon.
11:09No.
11:10What's he gonna do now?
11:12The official is still down.
11:24I would suspect we're gonna have another official join us in just a moment.
11:33I'm surprised we haven't already.
11:35Stone Cold Steve Austin.
11:37What's he doing?
11:39Why?
11:40What's he doing?
11:41He's just choking him down.
11:42Look at this.
11:43What's going on?
11:44He's making a point, McMahon.
11:46Hey, what's Ted DiBiase doing with the official here?
11:48Come on.
11:50Come on.
11:51DiBiase trying to wake up the official.
11:57Wait, he's got some sort of cup.
11:58Come on, Rick.
12:00Wake up.
12:01Wake up, Rick.
12:02Come on.
12:03Wake up.
12:03Wake up, Rick.
12:05Get in there.
12:06Come on.
12:07Get in there, man.
12:09I can't believe it.
12:10If Rowdy Ronnie Piper were here, he would not be allowing this to go on, I assure you.
12:18The official, please.
12:21Come on, let's get another one.
12:22This one can't be right.
12:24He was knocked out.
12:26Vega, Vega is the winner.
12:27What's he doing?
12:28He's lifting Vega.
12:29It's a billion dollar dream, McMahon.
12:35Yes, ring it.
12:38Please.
12:42Here's your winner, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
12:50Stone Cold Steve Austin.
12:52And the Million Dollar Man.
12:54Let go of the hold, come on.
13:00I love it.
13:02Let go of the hold.
13:06That hold, ladies and gentlemen, can cause permanent damage.
13:12Permanent brain damage?
13:13I think you gotta have a brain first, McMahon.
13:17Look at DiBiase, he's loving this.
13:19Say another one of his sayings, the rich get richer, the poor get children.
13:25Look at the smile on DiBiase's face.
13:27I can't get over the lousy officiating here.
13:30And finally, we've got some more officials down here.
13:32Come on, somebody do something.
13:33Okay, let him go, big deal.
13:37Finally, another official coming down here.
13:39It's about time.
