00:01:23but then the fight at the bottom of the pile and the Bills are not leaving the field.
00:01:28Right now it's Deion Dawkins with the ball and look at that. He looks like one of the Bills is
00:01:33on top of the discussion on the field. Buffalo recovered the fumble. Second down. I don't think I've ever seen
00:01:40that. Have you? No. It's a big break. I'd like to get Russell to weigh in on that that you
00:01:46go back. That's a hard one to overturn after you've already given it to the Rams.
00:01:51And that's exactly right Troy. I mean I see what you see that it looks like Buffalo had that but
00:01:57things can happen on the bottom of that pile that we don't see at the end. It's going to be
00:02:02hard to change.
00:02:03And it's Knox who's down there. And then Osiris Torrance fighting for it and they give the ball back to
00:02:11Buffalo after initially signaling it's Rams ball.
00:02:15That's the third fumble in the early year by James Cook and a quick throw to Ty Johnson on second
00:02:22and 10. He is able to pick up five.
00:02:24Well that was the issue that has been the issue with James Cook as good as he is in his
00:02:28dynamic of a runner and receiver out of the backfield.
00:02:31But last year he had six fumbles. He lost three. As you mentioned that was his third on the year.
00:02:36We thought he had lost it. He has lost one already.
00:02:39But Nate Landman I've seen him throughout this game when you when you're playing against a running back that puts
00:02:47the ball on the ground.
00:02:48You're going after the football. Landman's been doing that throughout this game tonight.
00:02:52He connected but they just weren't able to get the recovery.
00:02:55It's third down and five.
00:02:57Allen on third down is over three with a pick and a sack. And that changes here.

00:03:11And 26 yards for Ty Johnson for a big first down.

00:06:05But Trent McDuffie has been everything they could have hoped for.

00:13:41And in that game against the Bills' defense, Puka Nakua had 12 catches for 162 yards tonight.

00:21:07It kicks blocked last year, and it's been an uneven start, to use a nice word here at the beginning

00:21:43And he's very mindful, as you see him run through the middle of that defense, covering it up,
00:21:48and just trying to protect the football as best he can.
00:21:52I mean, that's the only thing, and it's a big thing,
00:21:55when you're running back and putting the ball on the ground,
00:21:57but does an excellent job of covering it up, keeping it tight,
00:22:01finishing the run.
00:22:07Josh Allen has only attempted 14 throws.

00:22:20And if it's working, stick with it.

00:22:29the way that James Cook has had these lanes to hit it,

00:22:33And, I mean, that's a great job that this offensive line has been able to do
00:22:40throughout this game.
00:22:41And, yeah, you'd like to see a few more plays out of the passing game,
00:22:46but if he can continue to run the football like that, they'll take it.

00:22:53He's at 5.6 a carry in this game.
00:22:56They fake it to him, Allen's in trouble, right up the gut.

00:23:01And down inside the 35, the ball was down, it came out,

00:29:59And he has continued.
00:30:01You know when you look at the number of opportunities 18 targets in this game.

00:30:10What a throw and catch.
00:30:12There was nowhere to go with that football.
00:30:14And Nakua Nakua was working against Christian Benford.
00:30:18And somehow Matthew Stafford fitted in there.
00:30:21I just don't know that you can play coverage a whole lot better.
00:30:25I mean he comes up and he's going to battle him knowing that it's third and short.
00:30:29And the ball is he's fighting him.
00:30:32And the ball is perfectly placed.
00:30:34And there's a difference being physical at the point of the catch.
00:30:38And that's Puka Nakua.
