Steps to Transfer Files Between Android and Mac Using Android File Transfer
1. Download Android File Transfer
Open Google.
Search for android.p2hp.com.

Open the website.
Click Download Now.
Install the application on your Mac.
2. Connect Your Android Phone
Connect your Android phone to your Mac using a USB cable.
Open Android File Transfer.
3. "Can't Access Device Storage"?
If you see the message:
"Can't access device storage"
Don't panic! This simply means your phone hasn't granted file transfer permission yet.
4. Enable File Transfer on Your Phone
Unlock your Android phone.
Swipe down from the top to open the Notification Panel.
Tap the USB notification.
Select File Transfer (MTP) or Transfer Files.
5. Browse Your Phone Files
Once File Transfer is enabled:
Android File Transfer will automatically open.
You'll see your phone's internal storage and folders.
6. Transfer Files
You can now:
📂 Drag and drop files from your Mac to your phone.
📂 Drag files from your phone to your Mac.
🗑️ Delete files and folders directly from your phone using the app.
📁 Create and organize folders as needed.
