00:00I want to get overseas right now. Back to the war with Iran. President Trump said to be weighing a
00:04combat, a return rather, to all-out combat. This is shipping in the Strait of Hormuz Falls at its
00:10lowest level in more than two months. Trey Yings following all of this. I want to check in now in
00:15Tel Aviv. Trey, what do you have? Yeah, hey Bill, good morning. Reports indicate CENTCOM has been
00:21ordered by the Pentagon to finalize preparations for major combat operations against Iran. Now,
00:27Axios reports that the directive didn't include a specific date for launching strikes and President
00:33Trump hasn't made any final decisions. But the move is an indication that strikes against Iran could
00:38resume even before the midterm elections. General Jack Keene described the current battlefield
00:42assessment on Fox and Friends. Look at the diplomatic effort. It didn't work. You know,
00:48they were trying to seduce us to do what? Stop the war, delay the inevitable. Hasn't worked. Now
00:55we're on an economic path to try to set the conditions for the regime to collapse. I don't
01:01believe that by itself will do that. The only thing this regime wants to do is survive.
01:06We know the United States continues to enforce the naval blockade of Iranian ports and is still
01:11escorting vessels through the Strait of Hormuz with millions of barrels of crude oil on board.
01:16But the IRGC keeps attacking with another tanker struck off the coast of Qatar overnight.
01:20Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Arkechi, spoke to state media today indicating that Iran is still
01:25reviewing the U.S. response to a proposed seven-day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Now,
01:30U.S. officials have said this is just an attempt for Iran to buy time amid dire economic conditions
01:36for the country. Meanwhile, fighting continues to escalate between the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen
01:40and pro-government forces backed by Saudi Arabia. Three people were killed in Saudi Arabia amid new
01:46Houthi missile attacks that targeted airports in the country. There are clearly multiple fronts
01:51that do remain active, and there are more than 50,000 U.S. forces deployed across the region
01:56to give President Trump a variety of options moving forward. Bill?
02:00Thank you, Trey. Trey Yinks in Tel Aviv.
