00:00There was once a rich man whose land produced an extraordinary harvest.
00:06So much, in fact, that he had nowhere to store it all.
00:09The rich man looked over his fields with pride.
00:12His harvest was greater than anything he had imagined.
00:19Look at all this grain.
00:21What am I going to do? My barns are already full.
00:27I know. I'll tear down these barns and build bigger ones.
00:31Then I'll have plenty of room for everything.
00:35I've stored up enough for many years.
00:37Now I can take it easy, eat, drink, and enjoy my life.
00:44But that very night, God said to him,
00:47You fool! Tonight your life will be required of you.
00:51Then who will receive everything you've stored away?
00:55By morning, all his riches remained.
00:58But the man who had planned to enjoy them for years was gone.
01:04That's what happens when someone stores up riches for himself,
01:09but isn't rich toward God.
